Very dated worn carpet. In some places floor is worn so your traction changes. Good is pretty bad, but skating's good healthy fun. They need to update this one and it'll be fine. At $20 per person, they should be rolling in dough. read more

First timer . We went all the way from cummings GA . I think it was OK. A regular skating rink but a little crowded. It wasn't very expensive though. About 11$ per kid with shoes. Lighting was good and so was the music. There was a small food shop inside , which was ok . They charge 5$ for skate help thingy , which is useful for someone not knowing to skate. I was going to write a really long and detailed review, but I think I can sum this up in a few bullet points. Meeting friends there for a small party, like 5 kids and every single one of us was told different rules / prices on what could be brought in. We were told you cloths bring in a cake for free if you buy two pizzas and a pitcher of soda, which we did.. still charged $20 to bring in a cake. Another one of us was told you couldn't bring in anything at all, not even for a fee. We all observed another person roll in an entire wagon worth of party supplies and set up. So I guess it changes depending on who you are or who you talk to? All that nonsense aside, the place looks run down and scrappy. Dirty. Music way too loud, sounds like you pulled up next to that kid at the stop light blasting some unintelligible nonsense from an 88 Honda Civic, the speakers blown since 1996. This caused some serious miscommunication with the crabby employees on the inside, clearly irritated that they have to repeat themselves constantly. Some of the people coming and going, I honestly wondered if this decrepit little shack was a front for something else. This concern intensified upon leaving when there was suddenly security guards in the parking lot.. of a skating rink.. at 6pm on a Sunday. Definitely a hard pass from me. Love this skating rink. I come once a week. I just started roller skating again after not doing it for 5 years and this is a great place to learn. Ive come on a Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday and see alot of the same faces so alot of regulars who are very friendly. Staff is also very nice. This place is located in a semi-dilapidated area. As you enter the main floor, you can feel the humidity overcome you because there is absolutely NO air conditioning. I am not exaggerating. This place is only cooled by large fans. My friends and I were literally sweating as we skated for 3 hours. The whole area was dimly lit as well with flashing lights. Unsure if this is a gimmick to keep lighting costs down. The price was indeed cheap. $7 total ($5 admission + $2 skate rentals). Would I visit this location again? Probably not since it was so hot to skate. By the way, they play really inappropriate music (sexually sensual rap songs) little elementary kids shouldn't hear. This place is amazing. WAY cleaner than other local rinks and the customer service is amazing. The owner, Mr Chris, went way out of his way to allow a special day for my kids with a private skate since we are still in quarantine. The ladies who work there are great and very accomodating. I highly suggest this as an option if your kids really need to get out, exercise, and have some fun. Its very affordable (you can split it with your pod) and the kids had the best 2 hours since quarantine began! This may be a regular event for us until the pandemic is over. read more

If you're ever looking for something fun for the kids to do, that's also inexpensive Skate Along is one of those places to go. For the 7 of us we got in and rented skates for $42 bucks. Not bad for a group that size. The kids had a blast and want to go back as soon as possible. We went on a Thursday, early afternoon. They were not crowded at all. As a matter of fact we were the only ones there for about an hour. That gave us time to take time teaching and helping our little ones. They opened from 12-5 and then from 6-9. From 12-5 it's perfect for kids, especially if they are beginners and are really young. You don't have to worry about them falling down and getting trampled on or losing them in the crowd and you are still able to get your skate on if you choose to. It wont be my first choice of skating rings to go to as an adult, this was strictly for the kids and their fun and entertainment. So by way of an adult, don't expect too much. The music was good, good enough for the kids and at one point I made a special request just to hear something my grown ears would appreciate. They happily obliged my request with no problems at all. If you get hungry they sell hotdogs and pizza, drinks and slush's. The kids will have fun and you will get cool points. It's a win, win for everyone! read more

They were kind, they had good food and they host a lot of events there for my school and the staff was kind.

Some people might rate this location differently based off how old it is but I had a 5 star experience when I went here for the first time. I found a great deal on Groupon for $14 for admission and skate rental for 2! We went on a Thursday in a group of 2 adults and 2 children. When we arrived we were told that the groupons could not be used on Thursday's because that day is reserved for special events . We decided that we would just come back another day. Before we could walk away, the owner came out and offered to let us go ahead and redeem our vouchers after we told him that it was our first time. That was super nice of him. He took the time to get to know our names and told us a little history about the place . When we got inside he also gave us 2 free vouchers to return for FREE! The space is a good size and all the staff are really friendly. I'm not a really good skater so I appreciated the emptiness of the place. I'm pretty sure it gets pretty busy on the weekends but I would definitely recommend going on a Thursday if you are a beginner. Some of the staff even helped my son learn while he was there I didn't try any of the food so I can't speak to that but we will definitely be back to do some more skating read more

My family and I went skating together Saturday afternoon for the visit time. The employees were very nice and helpful. The owner even introduced herself and gave us some free passes for our future visit. She even followed up with us before we left to check in and see how we enjoyed ourselves. My daughter really enjoyed her first experience skating and we will be back. Our second time going was even better. Brought the whole family along this time and a great time was had by all. Great music was playing. Even heard some B52s which is one of our favorite bands. I am new to skating and I'm really starting to get the hang of it. Looking forward to regular visits. read more

When we first came in the staff was friendly and even offered to take two dollars off the already cheap admissions . I went on a Friday night during my spring break and it cost 6 dollars admission plus 3 dollar skate rental. The night I went they didn't have anything on ( food related ) just two vending machines that just offered soda's and chips. Something that is a huge turn down of this place is there is no AIR CONDITIONING! Also you've probably heard problems about the music and I just back that up they only played rap and when we asked for hip pop, they only played one song! Overall I enjoyed the place but it could use some help maybe better music, air conditioning and food. I barely started skating on January of 2018 and well i have to say I've fallen many times but the floor is good enough to not let it hurt, the floor is well maintained it could get repaired but overall it's in fair shape better than other skating rinks .. the staff are very friendly and recognize familiar faces.. the snack shack is pretty good they're pizza gets crunchy if you don't buy it when it's fresh out the oven (i dont mind it i love it) .their restrooms are in fair shape as well .. the only bad thing about it is that when you go often the same music gets a tad bit boring ,for example you know when you like a song and you replay it then it gets "eh" well yea there you go.. it's a really great place to take the family or to go with friends just be ready to probably fall a bit read more

My husband and I came all the way from New York City with our three sons and decided to give this place a try. I must say we were impressed with the services provided and the attention we received from the staff. My family that resides in the area joined us and altogether we made up for a group of 15. Upon arrival we were received with a warm welcoming and the team moved quickly to distribute the equipment to our party. The rolling rink is monitored by staff which gave us confidence to allow our young ones to skate freely. The place is also equipped with a separate rolling rink for the younger ones and beginners which was essential for our younger ones to skate without fear of being injured or "ran over". Those of us who decided not to skate sat by the dinning area and indulged in their delicious pizza and other finger foods. The dinning area staff was very attentive and pleasant. We decided to preorder our children's pizza and soft drinks to avoid delays and shortly after they concluded their skating session their order was served without disappointment. This place managed to accommodate and satisfy the wants of our family and for that reason I am giving it 5 stars. I look forward to returning in our future visits. read more

Going to complain about what everybody is complaining about and that is they have NO idea what their audience liste. ns to. Early Saturday afternoon and they are playing lots of rap music, unedited inappropriate versions of songs an almost no pop. 90% of the kids here are 12 and under and they are playing very sexually explicit music, unedited songs with profanity, songs about balling, pimpin', etc. It's ridiculous. They don't seem to care because I see this complaint going back to 2013. I've been here for 30 minutes and not one song was appropriate for their audience. All rap. No top 40. No Taylor Swift, No Bruno Mrs, No Lorde, No Katy Perry, just nothing that kids are listening to. The DJ's apparently think they're at some club or something. These DJ's need to be fired. I complained to a guy here wearing glasses who had dreads with bleached tips and he's trying to tell me that they are getting the requests for these songs which is a complete lie. Nobody has approached the DJ booth the entire time I've been here. Unless you're trying to rise up the next generations of Ho's and Pimps, I suggest taking your kids somewhere else. read more

I hate how they don't allow you to skate if you don't have stoppers on your skates because "it messes up their floor". Which makes no sense at all. The floor isn't even great to have such an insane rule. This place is definitely not for people who really skate, it's for beginners and people who don't do tricks. The music is always trash. I understand they just opened but they never have a dj, just play music from a playlist that's full of songs you've never heard before or instrumentals from the pop genre. It's so many skating rinks around that doesn't have rules about your skates and just lets you do you like; both the sparkles in Gwinnett and Smyrna, cascade, golden glide, skate towne, Stone Mountain skates, and all American. I came here for the first time for a private birthday party. The rink has wooden floors. There's a small practice or kiddy area in the far back of the rink. When I went to wash my hands, there was an ad for Monday Madness; everything included for skating for $1. They also advertise many snack items for $1 on Monday as well. I like the communal sinks outside the restrooms. There's a couple of arcade games and an air hockey table at the rink. Skate A Long USA is one of the best skating rinks that I have been to! I was pleasantly surprised during my visit tonight, because skating rinks can be a hit or miss, especially since there aren't many around anymore. This facility had a ton of space, and the rink was huge! It is by far one of the cleanest skating rinks I've been too, and I felt very comfortable there. They had the area to rent skates, buy skates, a prize center, concession/food section (the food actually smelled good, fresh, and hot) with plenty of seating, and seating available all around the rink. Skate A Long USA is great for skaters of all ages and levels. The staff was lively and friendly & the DJ played a mix of the golden old school jams and new music. I had a good time and will definitely be back! I gave this place 4stars because I did not try the snacks and did not take a peak in the restroom to check it's cleanliness. I haven't been skating in a long time. This place brought back great memories. My family and I came hear for a birthday party and we couldn't be more pleased. The staff was fun and friendly. They made fresh pizzas for our party and they even had an option with a cake, balloons and goody bags. Now as a parent you know how awesome that option is. The staff kept coming over asking if we needed anything, which was a nice touch. The manager even came over. The kids had a great time and I even went out on the floor for a minute. It's crazy how good these kids are. I appreciate the seating area around the floor as I was in need of several breaks. It got a little hot but I was skating like I was running in place lol.
