I'm extremely disappointed with my experience with Ready Set Fun…read more I booked and paid a $381.50 deposit for my daughter's birthday party scheduled for January 25. Unfortunately, our area was hit by a winter storm, and a state of emergency was declared both that weekend and the following weekend. Travel conditions were unsafe, especially for children and families attending the party. I notified the business as soon as possible, but they refused to refund the deposit and only offered rescheduling, for an additional $250. At that point, my daughter's birthday had already passed, so there was no reason to reschedule a birthday party weeks later. I understand businesses have policies, but emergencies and state-declared weather events are beyond a customer's control. I made multiple good-faith attempts to resolve this directly, but no resolution was offered. I'm sharing this so other families are aware before booking, especially during winter months when weather can impact plans. The owner commented below- families let's use common sense as to why the party was canceled just four hours prior, the snow began coming down heavily, and I couldn't in good conscience ask my family members to travel on dangerous roads. The owner also failed to mention I was emailing Meg, since 6am that morning. Their behavior shows more compassion for money than families.

All fine China, glasses, cutlery, tea pots They come in like a whirlwind and set the tables beautifully and put out the food on the towers. Drinks were okay, not too strong - there was no food available (afterwards outside - street food). Be mindful of your surroundings and onlookers in the parking area. I mean who doesn't love feeling like (and hoping) the night will never end?…read more Not only has Sanctuary Nightclub been going strong for 32 years but it is also the only location in Atlanta offering salsa on Friday nights. We entered with a $15 cover (cash accepted) just in time for class to start. The teacher made the class fun and taught the basics with ease. I liked how he gave everyone some extra moves to practice out on the floor in both salsa and bachata. The dance space was kind of small compared to what I've seen but people moved on and off the floor so much that it didn't get crowded. I also enjoyed how they had plenty of seating. I'm not sure what's up with ATL and charging crazy prices for bottled water... or maybe Nashville spoils us. Anywho, bottled water is $3. Per necessity, the DJ was a vibe I enjoyed how he played some classics, some new school and old school. My only wish was that he would mix up the genres instead of playing 4 salsa then 4 bachata, the 4 merengue... so on and so forth. Lastly to top it all off, there was a local taco shop selling tacos outside. After 4 hours of dancing they delivered! All in all, I will definitely don on my salsa shoes and visit Sanctuary Nightclub again!

But if you're looking to have an event here, they do offer tours so check out their site for availability. Parking: The parking available on the venue is on gravel. Vibe: The flowers and greenery around the entire venue were beautiful. I loved how seamless the venue, bridal suite, and reception area flowed. The bridal suite is so big and has a large kitchen area with a fridge; a living room area with a couch and several chairs; a bathroom with a shower; a room that was used for hair & make up; and a front and back porch. The main venue space has a downstairs space that was used as both the reception area and the dance floor. I enjoyed celebrating my friends at this beautiful spot! I think it would be a great spot for weddings, vow renewals, and/or other large events.

I attended a wedding earlier this month (August 2021) at The Wildflower Barn at Little River. I had…read morea great time. For my wife and me, it was our first wedding since November 2019 (pre-COVID). Personally, the vaccines have been a game-changer for us and we felt comfortable at this indoor-outdoor gathering of about 90-95 people. Plus, we didn't want to miss this. We came in from out of state to make it. At first, I got The Wildflower Barn at Little River confused with Little River Farms, the wedding and special events venue next door. The two venues, plus Brick & Ivey in Marietta, are owned and operated by the same group. I believe there was another wedding going on at Little River Farms at the same time because when I pulled up to The Wildflower Barn at Little River, there were folks with signs directing people which way to go depending on which couple's wedding they were attending. The parking was valet in a gravel driveway and parking lot, which I was not expecting. The valet guys were nice and did a good job. The ceremony was held outside, unplugged. The cocktail hour was held inside and outside. The dinner reception was held inside the barn. And there was a beautiful lantern send-off outside, the way we came in. Everything was well-organized and went off without a hitch, as far as I could tell. For an event with about 90-95 people, I thought the size of The Wildflower Barn at Little River was appropriate. Over 100, I suspect it may start feeling tight. Overall, I thought the venue was beautiful, particularly the outside with all the plants and well-manicured landscaping, whimsical string lighting, and farm feel. Inside, the reception space felt open and modern. The space was very well lit and also well ventilated and air conditioned. At the reception dinner, a served buffet was catered by Southern Charmed Catering by Little River Farms. I thought the food was delicious. It consisted of a fresh spring mix salad with choice of honey balsamic or ranch dressing, green beans amandine, whipped buttermilk potatoes, mesquite-grilled chicken breast, pork chops with maple bourbon beurre blanc with sweet and spicy BBQ sauces, and dinner rolls. During cocktail hour, there were two hors d'oeuvres, chicken satay (skewers) and crab rangoon. During both the cocktail hour and reception, there were two open bars, one inside and one outside. King of Pops was on-site as was Pearl's Tea of Suwanee (bubble tea). Robot Booth provided the fun photo booth and DJ Rylan with DJ Cuttlefish, the team of DJs associated with Robot Booth, was the emcee and provided the music (playlist by the bride). I was told the wedding cake was by Angel Bakery, located inside Hong Kong Supermarket in Norcross, and additional dessert cake was provided by Nothing Bundt Cakes. I was familiar with all of the vendors except for Angel Bakery which I think is well-known among the Asian (specifically, Vietnamese) community in Gwinnett. The cake was excellent. My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves at The Wildflower Barn at Little River. I think it's an ideal wedding venue depending on what you're going for.
