My kids come here to meet friends and it's close. When we want to skate for fun, we go to other skate locations. It's very old, dated and needs lots of tlc. The skating rink isn't leveled and you can easily be put off balance. They don't play many recent tunes and it appears the owner doesn't care for hip hop music. Snack options lack but the place is a little dirty so I wouldn't order food here anyway. They play a few common skating games and the staff is cool. Again, only come here to let kids hang out with their friends. However I wouldn't recommend if you plan on spending hours eating and listening to good music. read more

I don't know where to begin. I came here with my sister for my cousin's birthday party, and I really wanted to like it because it is super close to our house, but I hated it. The moment I walked in, I felt nauseous, it smelled terrible throughout the entire place, and surprisingly, the only area that smelled decent was the bathroom. The walls in the bathrooms and throughout the building were disgusting, and from the exit of the boys' bathroom, it looked like there was mold on the walls of the girls' bathroom. The rugs have definitely seen better days, and the ceiling absolutely needs to be replaced. The staff was extremely unfriendly, which added to the unpleasant experience. I had roller blades, and for some reason, if you have roller blades, you have to give them your shoes, but not if you have roller skates. This meant I had to keep my skates on even when going to the bathroom. The only reason I'm giving this place one star is because, the cockroach I saw was cute. I saw at least three of them. I will NEVER be coming back. read more

10 year old birthday party brought us here...this rink is WELL preserved. It boggles my mind that the reviews are not higher! Butttt, I guess its because we are in a time where everything has to be new and shiny. This is a great Retro blast! If you have/had a love of roller skating, know anything about the eighties you will LOVE this place. Yes, well preserved does mean authentic DECOR...neon/black lights, definitely dress the kids for the glowing lights. They take care of everything for the party except bringing in the cake. what roller rink doesn't allow backward skating?! This place has so much potential but is absolutely filthy. Didn't want to sit down on any surface. The walls and ceiling look like nobody has taken soap or any cleaning supply since it opened. It's such a cute space. Needs updating, and why not? Thought I'd bring my kids to the roller skating rink I went to as a kid, big mistake. Two times around a mostly empty rink we we're reprimanded for skating backwards. Seriously?! This is a roller skating rink. Announcement came on reminding everyone the rules which ended with "please just ate in a circle". Doesn't appear to have been cleaned or maintained since I was last here 25 years ago. Our kids were not allowed to bring their reusable water bottles (of water) inside and had to put them back in the car despite the water fountains having an undrinkable trickle of water. I didn't mind the credit card surcharge of 4% but it would make more sense to just raise the cost $1 per skater rather than have a size 9 don't sign on the window in a dark entry way. When my kids did the limbo game they kicked off the parents trying to take videos from the unoccupied side of the rink. 1 STAR because they have a pay phone still on the wall and I got to show my kids a piece of history in person. read more

Came up for the first time today. After having passed this place hundreds of times, we finally set foot inside. My daughter met her friend here for an afternoon skate in the summer. She had a great time. The skateport is very nice inside. A few games and a little snack bar. Overall exceeds any other roller skating rinks in the area. Which equal none. read more

Talk about a blast from the past! Growing up, this was one of THE places to be on Friday & Saturday nights. So when my niece had her birthday party here, I was excited to return to see how it still looked. It hasn't changed a bit! The party was reserved so they had a table already set up for the party goers. If you weren't in the birthday count, it cost $8.50 for skates and and the skating time. If you were just watching, they didn't charge you. Luckily they allowed adults to go onto the rink with their shoes on to help the little ones who were learning how to skate. The building itself is still bright, complete with black lights, familiar music favorites and of course games. The bathrooms are in terrible need of attention, none of the doors in the girls room locked and the sinks were horrible. The party included pizza, which could have seen better days however the soda kept getting refilled and kept adults happy. The kiddos had a blast, and it was fun to see people still enjoying a place that I grew up going to. read more

This place is an overpriced rip off. The pizza is burnt, the staff is unfriendly and the drinks are watery. The cost to skate is exorbitant. We came for an elementary school event for two hours and it was $12 per child for two hours of skating. It would have been $3 more for roller-blades. You are better off spending your skating dollar elsewhere. read more

This place is great. If you grew up hanging out at the roller rink, this place will be exactly what you would expect. Yes, it could use some updating, but maybe not... it's dated interior is part of the fun. The staff is very friendly. My kids were already planning their next visit as we were packing up to go. It's glow in the dark trash on wheels. I recently went here with a day camp, and it was TERRIBLE. There was a kid who spent 6 dollars on to pizza slices, and they were completely burnt. When he asked for a refund, the response was "Sorry, if you buy it you have to eat it" ! Only when he got a camp counselor, did he get two better slices. My drink was nearly tasteless. The bathrooms smell like crap, and have nasty walls and toilets, and the drinking fountain doesn't work. The arcade games are trash, and the candy machines don't work. There was a light above the rink, and its cover had BROKEN GLASS, right above the rink! The black lights were cool, but other than that, this place is nothing but roller trash under a black light. read more

Served its purpose for 11 year olds party- but would not do it again. For the amount of money paid- it was pretty bad. The staff did nothing to help make things fun or clean up - they didn't help with anything. The girls bathroom was so disgusting. Literally only one stall had a door- there was no soap and the toilets didn't even appear to flush- they were full. 13 girls who were afraid to use the bathroom - what girl uses the bathroom without a door in a public place?? So gross. If you're looking to relive your skating days forget about it- no acknowledgement of the birthday person, only "event" was hokey pokey, and don't even think about trying to request a song- forget about it. This place was awesome! I had my husbands 30th birthday party and couldn't have asked for more. Upon arrival, someone was more than happy to help me carry all of my party goods in and the people working there were very nice and inviting. It appeared that two16 year olds were running the place, which was fine with me bc they did a great job. They asked me multiple time if there was anything I needed and they were quick to respond with any requests. I paid 265 for the entire party. In the end I'm not positive how many people showed up, but I think it was around 30. They did not charge for non-skaters, which was great. I believe it was 10 dollars for every skater and 2.50 if a non skater wanted unlimited soda. The place is decorated exactly how a skating rink should be. Super bright paint everywhere and black lights galore. If I had one complaint, it would be that it was so hot in there. We were dressed in 80s gear (multiple white suits and cut off sweat shirts) and everyone was a sweaty mess by the time we left. Anyway, we loved the place and will probably have more parties there. read more
