It looks really small from the outside, but it is one of those long buildings, so it has more room than you might expect. But make no mistake, the place is small compared to the big commercial fabric stores that most towns have. We parked out front and entered. This place is packed to the gills! Every square inch was loaded with fabric, or patterns, parts, accessories and in the back, they even sell vacuum cleaners! We worked our way around the store and my wife found some items she liked. I liked that even though the store is smaller, they had several folks working so that all the customers were being waited upon without delay. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly and made us feel welcome. As you might expect, the amount of fabric here isn't as large as some of the bigger quilt shops, but they do have a nice selection. Bottom line: an incredibly informative conversation covering issues that I had never considered and just had previous detailed conversations with two Honda svc managers! While both added to my knowledge ... neither brought up the points that Matt addressed. I had asked the other people, Cycling Warehouse, about the problem and they told me that I'd need a new set of gear shift levers (min. $75 + labour), etc. I knew that the shifters weren't great stuff but they weren't bent, so it didn't make sense. I was going to find a store which handled Kona bikes (not that the shifters were theirs alone) to ask. As I saw Ike's, I stopped and asked. I was told that it was probably that it had sat too long and with the cold weather up here, the greased hardened. He tried some silicone spray and 2 - 3 minutes later, they were working pretty well again. On top of this, as it was an easy fix, he decided not to charge me. This impresses me as the type of people i knew working bike shops in Florida and elsewhere--people I could trust.

And before I could even start to look for boot shops the name Boot Box was thrown at me. Everyone telling me the same thing. They are the best boot shop by far. And they were not wrong. Gary help me find the perfect shoe. I asked him lots of questions because I knew that he was the boot expert. I've always worn shoes that were budget friendly and somewhat okay. I didn't know anything about boots and just got what I thought felt okay. Not this time. Gary made me feel extremely comfortable when picking out the shoe, and making sure that they fit in the guidelines of what Job( Blue Buffalo) required. I think I tried on like 4 pairs. Some that fit and some that didn't and some that fit well. He told all the spots to check for when looking for comfort. I did tell him what i liked and didn't like in a work boot and problems I've had with the boots that I've had. He made sure that he gave and showed me the best shoe to eliminate all the problem areas and highlight the areas that I wanted.when I tried on my boots, he gave me a pair of thick socks to try on with them so that i get the full affect of how the boot is going to feel. I ended up leaving with a pair of slide in Doc Martins and some red darn tough socks. That have a wicking technology in them to allow your feet to not sweat. All I can say from here on out if I need boots or someone I know needs some boots the Boot Box with where I'll go and send everyone. The pricing is great, so you'll find something in your budget, and the customer service is out the door. Look no farther because the Boot Box should be the first and last stop when you are Boot shopping.

I did such a great job for them that I worked my way up to the Custom Shop side where I was part of an only 3 man team creating super custom cabinet doors. Again, I hand made beautiful custom designs for the rich and well-to-do customers' homes from raw lumber. I was a master artisan creating eternal works from Maple, Mahogany, and even Knotted Walnut. Precision Wood owners did not see fit to give me a raise and I stayed at my wonderful $5 an hour pay!! YES!! What a great place to retire!! All the while I was around dangerous clear coating and stain fumes, glues, non-OSHA regulated saws and routers with no safety guards in place, where a finger or hand could easily be severed if you were even remotely tired at 7:00 in the morning. When i finally decided that this was a terrible company to work for and that I'd have more luck selling crack at the police station, I quit. As I did, this company refused to give me my final $200 paycheck that I drove all the way out into the middle of nowhere into a corn field to get until I returned to them their tape measure. I hope you all fail miserably. Do not order anything from P Wood and support a company that treats American citizens like worthless slaves.
