Today, I was on my way home and decided to see what Skips is all about. Skips has been here forever so it's kind of weird that there are not more reviews on Yelp. FYI, the other reviewers are truthful about there being "no refunds". Skips will give you store credit but only for 30 days and the product has to be "unused" or "like new". So, if you buy something make sure it is what you really need/want because most of the items in here can be expensive $$. Skips has a vast variety of western style boots, hats, belts, vests, jackets, clothing and other miscellaneous items. It looks like their best sellers are the boots hats and jeans. I was interested in purchasing a new pair of boots so something that caught my eye were the Wolverines. I currently wear the "Durashocks" for work but they are getting a bit raggedy. Skips does not carry the exact boot or a boot like mine without the steel toe but I know where to get them so no big deal. Then I found the Ariat Sierra's. A few months ago, I was in Gatlinburg Tennessee and tried these boots on and wanted to purchase them but to get them home would have been an ordeal. The Sierra's have been in the back of my mind since then and now, they are here right in front of me. Fortunately, for me they were on sale for $139.95 (Reg $159.95). To add to this deal, Ariat was offering a mail in rebate. Buy $99 get $10 back. Buy $149 get $20 back. Buy $249 get $50 back. I purchased the boots and a pack of Ariat socks for a total of $160.76 (with tax) and will get a $20 back in mail in rebates (Better than Amazon Pricing, Wow!) Something to note for the Gal's: The Ladies section has a decent size selection of western style jeans with rhinestone embellishments (My Wife loves these). Additionally, (for the Ladies) there is a Harley Davidson Boot display with several Hot/Sexy-style knee high lace ups with the big heel (wicked). Tonight, there were 4 to 5 staff members working in the store. Two of them, Ken and Allyssa were personable and very helpful in finding me the right size/type of boots for my needs. Ken was especially helpful in showing me the best possible discount/rebate outcome for my purchase. I would definitely return to this store in the future for another purchase. I am not crazy about the "no returns policy" and I think it would benefit the business model if they would make exceptions with some items but other than that, I had a great experience shopping at Skips.

He sold me a shoe for a price and then before shipping the sneaker decided he didn't like that price and cancelled the order. He did not bother to reach out to me to explain himself and I have made purchases with him before. Then on top of this poor business practice he acted cowardly and blocked me from going into his selling streams. He took a gamble and lost and instead of adhering to the agreement and taking his loss like someone who would run a business ethically he cancelled the order. Realize his shoes are vastly overpriced compared to the market. If you need assistance finding the sneakers he's selling cheaper and from a more reputable seller (not me) let me know and I would be glad to help you.
