Before we even get to the counter and say anything the "store manager" (male, picture attached) starts a rant along the lines of sorry but we don't take converse returns you have to do that online, blah blah blah. My bf brushed it off and goes to shop but we're both annoyed and find it ridiculous that a purchase made in store can't be returned in store. I can't find any policy online or on the receipt backing up this so called policy. Plus the fact that this so called manger didn't even wait for us to say anything before immediately turning us away was just horrible customer service. We called the store we made the purchase from and they tell us what we were told sounds ridiculous, they get our info and call the Howell store to clear up the issue. Within 10 minutes we get a call from the store manger, a female, apologizing and saying if we go back in the store they'll process the refund. Store is clean and organized, most of the employees seem helpful, but the one "store manager" ruined the experience with their horrible customer service.

Shoes are all stacked on shelves so you help yourself to try them on but they're always willing to check the back if you can't find your size. Their shoes might not be the latest in trendy fashions but once you get to a certain point in live, you go for comfort and Bass shoes are the most comfortable shoes out there. Shoes are always 50% off and typically they are running some other special. Sign up for their rewards card and you'll get emails about the deals going on. This weekend, they had buy one pair of ladies shoes for 50% off and any pair after was 75% off!!! They also had a deal that if you had a receipt from making a donation to Salvation Army, they gave you another 10% off! And one final tip, if you sign up for the Tangler Outlet "rewards card" (which costs you $10 but then every year they send you a $10 coupon so it pays for itself), and if you spend $50, you get another 10% off. I got two pairs of $72+ shoes for $38!!! The multiple discounts they give rocks!
