The guy I was working told me they actually have a podiatrist that comes and trains them on what to look for. They actually take the time to make sure you get the right shoe...they care about your budget and this place is great for anyone who really needs the right shoe whether it's for running or training. you go to a finish line, they don't give off the impression they are knowledgeable. They tell me to spend more money because more money means more comfort. This place explained the differences in running shoes and that you don't need to spend crazy amounts of money for a great shoe and they have great discounts on off season shoes...great place that is under the radar. This store, though, made me forget, for the few minutes I was there, buying some boots, that I was in the middle of that mind-numbing, world-weary place. Great service, great selection, a real throw-back to a time when shoes were truly a specialty item, sold be trained personnel. I walked in with low expectations and left with wings on my feet.
