I brought in my animal the first week of August, 2026. I had two office visits with two different…read morevets. I had 30 phone calls/messages with front desk and other support staff. I had two visits with two different vets. They ran tests both times. I paid them over $1K. All in three weeks. The communication was HORRIBLE. The front desk women -- all lovely -- were like talking to walls. The doctors did not agree with each other about the diagnosis and treatment of one animal (of two) I brought into them. Trying to figure out what treatment and then getting the dose from Dr Landy and then actually getting the medicine took two weeks. After three plus weeks, they tell me that both of my animals need to be seen (they only saw one) and prescribed Prozac. It was at this point that I communicated with the front desk that I wanted to leave their practice. It took three calls, three emails and finally my driving to the office to pick up the records. I mentioned that I am an Apple user, they said that there was a problem with Microsoft. They said that the files were fine on their end when they open them in their system. Again, I ended up having to drive to the office to pick up hard copies. When I received the records from Lex Bed Vet Hospital and read them, I was shocked to see that second vet I saw wrote in her notes that I should be offered a free, 40 minute phone consultation with her to discuss my animal. I was NEVER offered this option. I am now over $1K in for one cat. With no diagnosis. And the follow up to be Prozac for both my pet even though they never even saw the second one. They said that the pet they did see appeared to be "high strung". I went to a different vet on Friday 9/11/26 and was told that my animal is NOT in need of Prozac. She said she wished all of her cat patients were as sweet, confident and calm as my cat!!! She felt what was best was a new litter set up. She recommended specific items to buy. She also read his files and followed up with me to talk the following day (a Saturday). Never did Lexington Bedford Veterinary Hospital make any recommendations about the litter and the box. I was told by Lexington Bedford Veterinary Hospital that it was too bad that my expectations were not met as a response to my feedback on my recent experiences with their practice. Not sure if my experience described is about expectations not being met. Seems to me this is on them for providing the services and care as they did so that I am even spending time here on YELP to speak up.
