He's definitely a needy little man. Generally after a vacation, he expresses his displeasure that we left him by getting pretty moody - he has been so sweet and cuddly since we've been back! Obvious proof that he wasn't the least bit stressed out by our absence. She is obviously a cat person, which is what my two boys needed. They are pretty easy to take care of...no meds, no special diet or feeding schedule, and we have an auto litterbox. So what we really needed was someone to come in and give them lots of love and attention. She did that 10x over. :-) We requested a daily email just to make sure they were ok and she was kind enough to include a summary of the day's activities and lots of pictures. We looked forward to those emails every single day and did quite a bit of laughing. I would definitely recommend her!

She even bought a bag of my dog's favorite treats just because she happened to be at a store where they had them for a good price! I could not ask for a better care-taker for my pooch. My mother-in-law even drives an hour and a half from Savin Hill, leaving early just to beat traffic to get him here on time. We now know we shouldn't have bothered rushing to make it. We completely understand that grooming a 70-pound doodle is a big job, but having a 10am appointment that isn't finished until 8pm with one update coming 8 hours later or even an apology for the delay just isn't reasonable. We really want to support local businesses and we're not here to tell anyone how to run theirs, but if the current schedule is too packed, it might be better to take on fewer clients each day. This is…read morewhere our dog almost died - he was attacked by another dog and required surgical wound repair and rabies shot leading to an expensive vet bill. We discovered the wound in the car 5 minutes after picking him up at 6pm. The owner of daycare took full advantage of this and denied that it happened there and refused to provide a video or the name of another dog he supposedly played with in the morning (video was deleted). We were told that our dog was "sleeping in the corner" all afternoon after playing with the other dog, which would be completely out of character indicating that he was injured in the morning and was left to suffer until 6pm. Animal Control got involved and discovered that only one person was watching 25 dogs that day and ordered to reduce the number of dogs to 15. If a daycare is unable to notice such a serious injury, to identify a dog in distress for hours or to cooperate and take responsibility for any incidents that may occur, then it is either incompetence, negligence and/or animal cruelty - take your pick. No dog is safe at this daycare.

She is so careful to only pair him with dogs that will accept him and play nice. He is super friendly 7 month old and can sometimes be annoying to other older dogs. She knows how to read these dogs and will not chance any sort of questionable behavior from the dogs. I can totally trust her with Max and know he will be in good hands. Jena has also been very responsive to emails and messages and is very helpful in arranging Max's walks. I highly recommend them!!
