Really excellent deli sandwiches, including a shockingly good steak cheese (no Amoroso rolls, but c'mon you're not in Philly!) they get very busy around lunch and dinner so call ahead - unless you just feel like waiting for your order with a delicious ice cream (which they're happy to serve up in the summers from the outside window) Can't comment on the general groceries, but they seemed well stocked with staples and fuel prices are inline with other local stations. As a gas station, their prices were higher than the other stations further away but we were on E & had no choice. I didn't go into the actual store but I kinda wish I looked around. Not sure if there's a bathroom inside but the porta potty in the parking lot was disgusting. The positive? ICE CREAM. They serve Richardson's Homemade Ice Cream which they weirdly had literal children serving (I'm not sure on NH's child labor laws but it felt weird). But the portions were HUGE and the ice cream was delicious. I didn't realize the portions were so big because the prices were so reasonable. I paid $8.50 for a small cone of campfire s'mores and a medium cup of coffee kahlua brownie. The cone did start melting the second I walked away (and it wasn't a hot day). I love Skelley's!! My family and I have been vacationing in Moultonborough for the past 3 years now and Skelley's is somewhere we have to go each year. Their food is delicious, and they give great portions for the price point. Their ice cream is the same way too!! Subs were expensive and very light on ingredients, even the filler veggies were minimal.

Their pizza is amazing. Called on a Monday at 3:00pm, and even though they are open until 8:00pm, they report the kitchen is closed. I don't know what it is about New Hampshire but all of these places are so inconsistent that you can never plan around them. They never have accurate hours posted online and they randomly shut down their kitchen on a regular day. read more

Although it is in a very convenient spot for some, it's not that convenient for me. I'm gluten-free, as a lot of people and they pretty much refuse to put gluten-free items on their shelf. I mean even a box of gluten-free pasta and maybe a frozen gluten-free pizza in the freezer and one type of gluten-free rolls or bread wouldn't break them I don't get it. When you ask about it, they say they had them years ago and it's spoiled on the shelf. But that was probably 15 years ago. so many people are gluten-free, other stores have them, but unfortunately, here in Moultonborough, we have to travel 20 minutes to get to one . read more

Such a great place to visit. It is not just a gas station but a small market as well with fresh produce and a good variety of groceries. We don't live too far from Skelly 's, we're fairly new to the area about one year. And where I am gluten-free it's impossible to get anything from there. Although they have a selection of other things that most people enjoy very much, including my husband and family. But even though I've spoken to The staff there about potentially getting gluten-free items, the response is always the same thing, we did years ago and it didn't go anywhere, would rot on the shelf. Well that was many many years ago, nowadays a lot of people are gluten-free. And although it's 10 minutes down the road and not as close as Skelly 's, I wind up going to Pier 19 where they have so much gluten-free options. It's just too bad, one gluten-free pizza, and a gluten-free roll for subs or sandwiches couldn't be offered, wouldn't cost them a lot. And it would sell! read more

I had called Friday, the 8th at 9:02 and although the initial call was not ideal, the follow up demonstrated by the owner was phenomenal, he contacted me to get as many details as I could remember so he could follow up with his employee. I've frequented this store many, many times over the years and now, I remember why. Plus, they have the absolute best chicken finger dinner I've ever had. Convenient location, variety of food, plenty of beers. Skelley's doesn't have to do much well to make money because of its location. There's a captive audience of weekend warriors and vacationers who will buy and eat most anything at any price. Gas is usually 10 to 20 percent higher than most but they do blow out the pizza on Saturday nights. The two stars are for the checkout process that is usually understaffed and overworked. Long lines at the checkout are the rule, not sure why they have two cash registers but rarely use both. I guess it's take it or leave it in managements opinion. Until a nice modern gas station opens nearby and creates pressure to improve the service it will remain status quo. It is what it is. read more

Great spot for everything. They have a deli and an ice cream spot inside. The deli has a pretty good menu to order off of. They have alcohol to your normal vacation needs here saves you from a far trip if you are in the area. Also the pumps as the gas station stay on after hours if you have your card handy read more

I can't speak for their grocery store or gas station side of the business, but I did have the chance to order some pizza from them. I ordered their Meat lover's pizza and not only were they friendly when I asked if they could off on one topping on half of the pizza, their pizza was great. They are not cheap with their toppings either, they throw a lot on the pizza and the toppings taste like they are made of good quality. I'm only visiting the area on vacation, but I wish they had one near me, because I would definitely go back! read more

Went to skelly's last night to pick up a sub and some other food. When I got home to eat my sub it immediately put me right on my ass it was so good. Whoever made my sandwich needs a raise it is literally the best sub I have ever eaten. Every single part of it was fresh and they did not skimp out on the meat. Absolutely amazing job. read more

If you're staying/living in this area, it has pretty much everything you need: gas, grill meats, beer, subs, an ice cream counter, and general household items. They have everything for the home renter in need. And their ice cream is insane! Try the coffee ice cream with heath bars! It was one of the highlights of my trip! On the way out grab some of the Lake Winnepesaukee chocolate bars for friends at home. They will love you for it! read more

Between my husband and I, we are there at least 4 days a week. I love the convenience and the pizza. Although, there is one cashier who works there.. maybe twice a week, dirty blonde hair, maybe in her mid 20's who is VERY rude. I say "hi how are you?" and she doesn't ever respond and never smiles...she gave me the wrong cigarettes once and I nicely said " oops I need the green ones" and she switched them out and threw them down on the counter..I'm trying to figure out when she works so I can go somewhere else. read more

Skelley's is a great all-around market: great selection of snacks and drinks, awesome ice cream bar (with local homemade ice cream from Bailey's), very competitive gas prices, and a great take-out menu featuring pizza and subs. We go to Skelley's for their fresh salads, which are made daily. We love the egg salad, especially, and the macaroni salad. They are fresh and onion-free - just perfect for dressing up and adding your own homemade touches. Chicken nuggets are really large and very fresh. read more

overpriced subs! mostly bread. // pizza is overpriced. chicken wings over priced. when it was dads market they had 10 cent chicken wings on saturdays at noon, and steak and cheese subs for $4.20 miss those days everything in store is about 20-25% more than a typical grocery store. no specials on beer ever ! way to many people working there, dont know one hand from the other. beware; this place is known throughout town for selling stale old gasoline, it always has been, no matter the owner. and they deny it. the owner is not oblivous but ignorant. if you dont listen to this when your boat/jetski/snowmobile breaks down ha i told you so!! fullers has the best fuel in the area hands down. lj arlen read more
