    Beautiful flowers adorned the patio.

WOW. We were in the area for a concert and wanted to grab a sandwich beforehand. We searched local places and saw the great reviews and decided to give Jon's a shot. AND ARE WE GLAD WE DID! First, the staff couldn't have been friendlier. Bill helped us and was patient when we asked for recommendations -- he was super helpful and made us feel very welcomed. Based off of his recommendations, we both went with the house special roast beef and deviled eggs. We found a nice spot on the pretty patio that was adorned with lots of beautiful flowers (it was late May when we visited). They brought our food to the table when it was ready, so we didn't have to go in and out as we waited for our made to order sandwiches. This trip was May of 2023 and I have been thinking about those roast beef sandwiches ever since. The best deli roast beef I have ever had. The deviled eggs were just as yummy and the portions were generous and filling! I can't recommend a stop here enough. We are so glad we just happened to find it and can't wait to go back!

Been dreaming about these roast beef sandwiches since 2019 and I must say, they're even better than I remembered! The prices increased a bit but what else is new. Make sure you order the House Special which is their most popular sandwich on an onion roll. We ended up ordered the "large" which is 8oz of meat and piled high!! It was absolutely incredible except we were stuffed. Definitely would stick with the regular size and save some money and stomach space! PS: The deviled eggs with bacon were a surprise star.

Jon's famous roast beef sandwich. Comes with 3 toppings. Mine has Swiss, horseradish and banana peppers!

Another successful Yelp find! Jon's Roast Beef and Deli is a gem in Laconia. I had the traditional roast beef with Swiss, horseradish and banana peppers. I got a large and had to have 1/2 of it to go. Great portions, you can get it hot or cold. I went cold this trip. They have deviled eggs, Buckeyes and other baked goods. They are open for lunch mostly Monday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday they are open until 7. For you gluten free peeps, they have that too, they define GF as great food

Food isn't that good, basic sandwich that can be purchased from a gas station. Not sure why everyone thinks it is so good.

Lakeside Famous Roast Beef Pizza & Seafood opened up recently in a former Dunkin Donuts shop (a new…read moreDunkin Donuts is directly across the street). I stopped here recently for dinner takeout on a busy Saturday evening. This order at the counter eatery offers roast beef sandwiches, pizza (by the slice or whole pie), calzones, pasta dinners, hot & cold subs, wraps/pitas, fried seafood (clams, scallops, shrimp, haddock) dinners & rolls, king lobster rolls, salads, New England clam chowder, steak tips, kabobs, chicken fingers & wings, fried appetizers, bagged Frito Lay chips, & Coke products from the cooler. The prices here are reasonable, subs/sandwiches $3.99-$7.00, pasta with bread $4.95-$8.75, dinner plates $7.50-$9.75, and seafood dinners $9.95-$17.95. Coupon specials are also offered on the menu. The food is made to order in the open kitchen area behind the counter. The roast beef is sliced to order. The pan pizzas are baked in the belt oven. There's self serve table seating in the bright dining area. I ordered the Fish & Chips Dinner ($9.95) and a Junior Roast Beef Sandwich ($3.99) for takeout, given a receipt with number, which is called out when the order is ready. My order number was called out in about 10 minutes after ordering and I was given a small bag with my Jr Roast Beef Sandwich and "have a good night." I quickly told the person who gave me my sandwich I also ordered Fish & Chips, which needed another minute to be ready and still being packed. I grabbed some condiments on the counter, but I did have to ask for tartar sauce. The fish & chips dinner was a good portion of battered haddock (2 pieces), shoestring fries, onion rings, and cole slaw. The food was very hot and the batter coating around the haddock came off. The shoestring fries were the very typical French fries, which were deep fried golden and unsalted (thank you!) The battered onion rings were deep fried golden and crisp, coating was coming off. The tartar sauce was very thick with plenty of pickle relish in a mayo mix. The cup of cole slaw was very good and refreshing, crisp chopped cabbage in a creamy and zesty dressing. The Jr Roast Beef Sandwich was okay, which had a good amount of small thin slices rare (very red) roast beef with horseradish (my choice) on a soft toasted bun. I prefer my roast beef medium well. The food I had tasted pretty good and the fish & chips was not too greasy. I would probably return here for lunch or dinner if I'm driving through Laconia. 3.40/5.00 DELIVERY is available.

This "fancy-like" rustic biker bar & restaurant offers a streamlined food menu featuring pub fare and BBQ options, including St. Louis Slow Smoked Ribs, Smoked Chicken. Pulled Pork, handhelds, burgers, chicken tenders, smoked wings, appetizers, and chocolate chip ice cream sandwich. The prices seem fair, given the popular destination for bikers and tourists. The place is actually not so "fancy" which red painted walls with guitars and black flooring (front section) & hardwood flooring (upper back section) with table seating, high top tables, and seating up at the bar which has flatscreen TVs, but minimal stocked shelves (at the time of visit) at the bar. I stopped by for takeout on a rainy summer night and was able to easily find on-street pay parking near the front of this business, which is harder to find on a nice weather weekend day. The place was empty compared to its other bar next door, which was very busy. I decided to order takeout and ordered The Fancy ($16) handheld served with fries. My order was boxed and ready to go in 10 minutes. The thick sandwich had tender pieces of slow roasted pulled pork topped with a smoky sweet BBQ sauce on a toasted brioche bun, served with thick golden crinkle fries and a cup of creamy slaw. This takeout meal was pretty solid good and filling. I would definitely stop by again during my next trip to the Weirs.

We have three young kids with us and we let them order their own food because it's good practice for them. We had never been to this restaurant before so we needed a minute to figure out our orders. D'Angelo has a phenomenal employee named Shayna (Shay). She was very patient with our kids as they worked their way through their orders. Shay also kept complimenting and encouraging her fellow employees. She would say what a good job the cooks in the back were doing. When there were no customers in line, she'd come out to the dining area and wipe tables and pick up trash. Shay made our first ever visit to this restaurant a very enjoyable one that we will tell others about. She is a great face for the business and is so kind to customers and employees alike. If Shay isn't a manager, she should be. Thank you for an awesome experience. I almost forgot to mention that the food was delicious as well. The order was prepared perfectly and our kids loved it.

I was kind of stunned that she gave a new couple the dinner menus and never asked us if we wanted menus too and I didn't want to interrupt. Now, I had told the outgoing bartender we wanted to have dinner at 4, but I guess she didn't communicate that. Note: They change from a Happy Hour food menu to a full dinner menu at 4pm. This has never happened before and feel like it was an off day for all of them, but my husband wanted the owner to know, thus I am writing this review. The tater tots were pretty good too, but I wouldn't say the portion size lived up to the $18 price tag. If you look at the menu online, it is a much larger serving, so be warned! Overall, I don't know if I would come back.
