    BLT Sub
    Laura J.

This was our first time here, and right off the bat first impressions were great. The young woman who took our order was very knowledgeable, informative and congenial. Such a nice experience just ordering! My husband had the meatball sub and loved it. The sub roll bread is very fresh. The meatballs were large, tender and had a really good tangy taste, as well as did the sauce. I had the BLT sub which was HUGE! It was loaded with bacon. I had to cut one half in half. The bacon was done perfectly - not so crisp it broke into pieces and not so soft as to be chewy. It was exactly right. The bacon was also warm and again, the bread was soft and delicious. We got dessert because, well, Key Lime Pie!!! And the slice was a nice size compared to other restaurant serving sizes. It was smooth, tart like it should be, with a nice graham cracker crust. Sub Crazy has one of the best dessert selections I've seen in a long time. We went here tonight because we saw a rerun of the establishment on WMUR Chronical. We're glad we tried it out! We will go back again.

    Meatball sub

Very nice place everyone behind the counter were awesome. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very clean inside and out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I tried the chicken parmesan it was awesome. It needed a little more sauce but real chicken pan fried. On Friday I figured I would try his famous meatballs to me they were had two much bread and not enough meat. They're very soft taste good definitely homemade. I'm very picky when it comes to meatballs. I'm going to go back and try his Italian sub and has another one called forgetaboutit this summer.

Very friendly and attentive. Food is outstanding. Last time we were there they had live music which was really good. Management there appears to be very involved with all of the processes and professional. I have read some of the reviews and find some of those not spot on. When reading the reviews of any restaurants in a vacation area always keep in mind the area of the country its in and the fact that most, not all vacationers come across as entitled and can be very rude. I only know this because we live in two areas of the country where there is a very large and strong vacation season. Take it from a local here and def put the Alamo on your list of places to eat. Great patios and roof top dining as well which overlooks the entrance to Paugus Bay Bridge and the Weirs beach/Weirs avenue area.

We were seated promptly and our server was great, but everything took a lonnnnnggg time and the food was pretty average. I don't think it was our server's fault that things were slow, it seemed to me more of a bar and kitchen issue. Our server was attentive and kept apologizing that things were taking so long. We ordered house margaritas, which were nice and strong, but my glass wasn't full, and the sugar that we had both requested was weird - it was a combination of sweet and salty. We put in our drink and food orders at the same time. Our drinks took approx 25 minutes to arrive, and food arrived about 15 minutes later. That's a long time for two drinks, one appetizer, and a side of corn bread. We ordered loaded tots, which were ok, but the portion size was small for the $18 price tag. The cornbread was good and the portion size was appropriate for the price. We enjoyed the live music - the performer had a great repertoire and was really enjoyable to listen to. All in all, our visit to the Alamo was just kind of average. We probably would have enjoyed it more had the outdoor areas been open. Might go back, might not....

It was the first dinner stop we made, and the last before we left. During that time, I ordered the Turkey Leg Dinner, the Turkey Parmesan, Sautéed Turkey Livers, and the Small Turkey Dinner with dark meat. My dining partner ordered the Medium Turkey Dinner with dark meat, Turkey Meatloaf, and a couple other things I don't remember. All of our dinners were excellent. Stuffing was delicious, cranberry sauce, and old-school baked potatoes. Yum! He absolutely loved the meatloaf, I guess his favorite. I loved everything, but the turkey livers were probably my favorite, only because it's something you never find on a menu anywhere. It's a lot of food. The portions are generous, and by the time you have the carrot relish they serve first and the maple cornbread (both complimentary), which is absolutely delicious, I know I was full every time. He had dessert twice, a cobbler and the chocolate mousse, and loved both. The theme of this restaurant is turkey. Turkey everything! I love love love the fact you can get a full Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings, without having to cook it!

Undercooked Greasy fries The menu attached here in Yelp does not represent the current menu taped to the glass windows where you order. The new menu is hand written. Take all the pricing of the Yelp posted menu and multiply by up to 2.5 times and that is what you will end up paying. This just proves they are price gouging. 12-13 year old kids were taking the orders and cleaning up outside. (NH labor law enforcement might be interested in this). Listen to your customers orders. Don't send out two totally different cooked items. At least the grease wasn't rancid. Click on the pictures to see the undercooked clams and compare with the other order that came out with it. They have no consistency of cooking. My wife had the Tamarack basket with shrimp, chicken strips and fried clams in a meal. The size of the shrimp can only be described as "no larger than a US dime." Quantity was only 4 miniature shrimp. Three chicken strips that were fairly tasty. Six to seven undercooked clams. Plus another soggy greasy serving of French fries. Overall, her meal got a grade of "D". Don't waste your money. It was a beautiful night with a lite breeze sitting on the outside picnic tables. Very overpriced for what you received and the quality of the cooked product. No, I wouldn't recommend the place. Leave it for the tourists. Just an fyi. I showed the manager/owner my review. His response "I'll take it into consideration." I am NOT impressed Go try the Dipsy Doodle in Northfield, NH Much better food, fully cooked, and way cheaper.

Excellent! so when we had an appointment in Laconia I was looking forward to the rich full bodied Americano decaf we always get. I added a bit of half n half and tasted. Found them to be luke warm, and also weak as dish water. I think the cool temp of the brewing water prevented the coffee beans from giving up their flavor. I brought back to the counter where the barista warmed them w the frother. btw, no apology. I thought I could drink it but it was awful. So I asked for a splash of regular coffee to be added thinking that might fix the weak flavor. She told me she'd have to charge me for a small coffee. Really? Didn't I already spend almost $5 on this bad coffee? So, that was it, I declined the additional cost and left it on the table. My husband brought his home where he promptly threw it away.
