Whenever I'm exhausted after a round of golf, I always want to come here. Their back massages and Thai stretches are incredibly precise, and their four-hand massage is especially exceptional. I called ahead and scheduled an appointment for myself and 3 girlfriends. At the time of booking, I made it clear we had not decided on services yet and wanted to choose when we arrived. The night before, they called and left a voicemail confirming us for 90-minute massages, which was never agreed upon. I immediately called back and clarified that we were still coming, but only wanted 60-minute massages and would choose our exact services when we got there. They confirmed that was fine. When we arrived, I signed us in and specifically wrote "combo" because I was interested in their combination reflexology. Before my massage even started, I clearly told my masseuse I wanted the combo reflexology, and she acknowledged it. However, the massage I received was not reflexology at all there was no foot soak and barely any foot work, which is standard at every reflexology place I've been to. On top of that, during the massage they were extremely pushy about extending our sessions another 30 minutes (making it 90 minutes total). I was asked twice, and all 3 of my friends were also pressured to extend. We all declined. At checkout, I noticed I was being charged significantly more than expected. When I asked, they told me they gave me the "combo body massage" instead of the "combo reflexology." That was never what I asked for. Instead of taking accountability or trying to correct their mistake, they did nothing. To make matters worse, their tipping system feels very uncomfortable and aggressive. They present tip options starting around 30-38% and hold the payment screen right in front of you, creating unnecessary pressure. Overall, the entire experience felt disorganized, misleading, and focused on upselling rather than customer service. I take responsibility for not being more confrontational in the moment, but not everyone is comfortable speaking up, and businesses should not rely on that. I left feeling taken advantage of, and unfortunately, they've lost our business. I hope this review helps others avoid the same experience.

Because we were staying on site I made the wise decision to go two days in a row. The first day I went splashy and got a facial at the Sisley spa inside the spa. I love Sisley products. What an incredible experience. This includes up to three flutes of M&C champagne, macarons and a sample gift. It was an excellent facial and a great start to our mini getaway. The second day I went to the larger part of the spa and had a one hour massage with April. This was fantastic. Both days I had full access to all the facilities for no upcharge. There were waterfalls, water therapy and a large rooftop pool. It was chilly out, but many of us braved the chill in our oversized robes in an attempt to soak up some sun by the pool. I got some sun on my legs for a good 20 minutes. Brrrrr! The second day I had a generously sized fruit salad pool side. The only recommendation is that they could make prettier packaging for the food. Service was perfect. I would repeat this in a heartbeat.

I came in for a 1 hour massage and added on the foot scrub. It was a full body massage that ended with a scalp massage. Marie was my masseuse and I highly recommend her. She was very attentive and asked the right questions to make sure I was in maximum comfort. The aromas are perfectly applied and not overwhelming. I loved the eucalyptus towards the end of the massage and my feet felt baby soft and clean after the foot scrub. The amenities are fabulous. The lavender meditation room is under rated. The aroma is subtle and fresh, cool temperature and dim lighting. Feels calm and not many people use it. A nice place to reset and calm your mind. The rooftop pool is nicely shaded, I read my book there for a while. I'm coming back in a few weeks to try a facial. Already booked my next massage.

My husband and I both had massages with Claire and Jessenia and they were excellent. Rose, who checked me in, was great from start to finish. She made me feel comfortable right away and was so helpful throughout my visit. The relaxation room was one of my favorite parts. It had a beautiful view that made it feel even more peaceful, along with yummy treats like chocolates, dried fruit, tea, and fruit-infused water. Since the room is co-ed, I felt a little uncomfortable being in just a robe at first, but Rose immediately made accommodations and set me up in a private space until my massage, which I really appreciated. I also thought it was super thoughtful that in the women's locker room they had a jar of rubber bands. Such a small detail, but very convenient after a massage. Overall, it was a wonderful experience from beginning to end, and I'd definitely recommend Inspire Spa. Just a heads up about the co-ed relaxation room so guests can plan accordingly.

I've been to many resort spas in the Phoenix Metro area and love to try the day pass to explore the…read morespa amenities without booking services (due to my own preferences, e.g., massage therapists usually tell me they can't provide the pressure I'm seeking, etc.). The women at the front desk were very pleasant, polite, warm, and welcoming and Mary, the locker room attendant, was amazing! She was so kind and patient answering all of our questions and showing us around. I wasn't super impressed with the amenities... The steam room wasn't very hot or steamy and only seated about 5 to 6 people comfortably. There were three women in there when I entered and they told me that if I was "looking for peace and quiet, this wasn't the place for me because they were gossiping," which I thought was incredibly inconsiderate and rude. Though their behavior was no fault of the spa itself, it would be great to enforce a quiet policy so that other spa goers could enjoy quiet and relaxation. The ladies who wanted to gossip could be politely redirected to the pool where it may be more appropriate for loud chatter. I went to the sauna next and had a much more enjoyable and peaceful experience. There was a small pale of water to add to the coals to increase the heat in the room. This was much more to my liking. Wet washcloths with eucalyptus essential oil in an ice bath were provided, which was really nice to use after the sauna and smelled amazing. There was a hot tub near the sauna and steam room but it was full of foam and very cloudy. I felt really uncomfortable getting in the water as it appeared to not really be clean. A cold plunge is advertised on ResortPass for the day pass and I was very disappointed to learn that there was no cold plunge on property. They did offer a prickly pear lemonade, bottled water, apples, and mixed nuts/dried fruit to snack on. After sweating it out, I decided to go to the relaxation room to sit down, cool off, and "relax". They had these little foot massager boxes so I tried one out and it really hurt my feet! I tried to play around with the settings but couldn't really figure it out. It would be great to have an instructions sheet nearby so we could be informed how to operate the devices properly. Different ladies chose to sit down right next to me (in an empty room) and talk about epidurals and their pregnancy really loudly, which I found to be very disruptive in a "relaxation room". Again, enforcing some kind of a quiet policy would've been very appropriate. Aside from the drinks and snacks mentioned above, there is no food available in the spa but I was informed there was food available for purchase at the spa pool, which I chose not to spend time at. The menu didn't look great to me - overpriced and unhealthy. I did love that the showers had doors with locks (versus an open space with a curtain as is found in many other spas) and there was a bottle of eucalyptus spray in the shower for aromatherapy, which was amazing. I wanted to purchase a bottle on my way out but the spa was out of stock. I'm not sure I would return to Agave as I think other spas in the area offer a more enjoyable environment and more/better amenities for a similar price.

Very disappointed in my service here at Agave…read more Short version of the story: Husband bought me a $150 gift card for a pedicure. It was evident in the middle of the service that the woman performing my service cut me. I told her this 3 times, at one point even needing to remove my foot from the water because it was stinging so badly. She took zero accountability stating maybe it was my shoes. (???) Needless to say, I didn't really enjoy the experience while stinging in pain. The following day, I went to take a shower and the stinging continued. At this point, there was a visible cut on my toe, so I reached out to Management. After corresponding with this management team for about a week, I found them to be "fake" helpful. I told them I was 37.5 weeks pregnant and the last thing I should be worrying about is an infection from a $150 pedicure at a reputable salon. They made a comment at one point that Lana (my nail tech) "doesn't usually make mistakes like this...." despite me showing them two photos of the cut on my foot. They just kept saying "Keep us updated..." What does that even mean? At one point, a representative from the salon called me (4 days after my appt). I called her back a few hours later. Never retuned my call. After 1 week, I emailed them again and told them that I didn't end up getting an infection, but that I planned to write a negative review of my experience. I basically told them not to even respond back because I was sick of going back and forth with them via email for God knows what. But in the end, I do personally feel that they should have offered me a refund because the service was so poor AND that the nail tech and management lacked accountably. On top of all this, I want to add that this is my second pedicure here (I am a local who lives about 2.5 miles away). Both times, I have been thoroughly unimpressed with their color options for pedicures. I end up having to go with a color that isn't the one I wanted because they have limited options. They also use CND polish, which I find to be inferior to other brands such as OPI, Gelish and DND. All I can say is that I normally spend $50 on a pedicure at a local spot nearby (Plush Nail Bar). Although it's not a spa, I end up paying $100 less, get an overwhelming array of color options and oh yeah.... I DON'T GET CUT! As for any future spa service, I told my husband to forget this place and buy me gift cards to the Fairmont Princess from now on (equidistant from our house).

I booked the 60 minute Japanese Headspa with Reve. When I arrived, we chatted about my experience with head spas I've been to, and Reve just gets it- we (well at least I) go to relax and have a moment to escape, not for scalp bootcamp. After getting settled, Reve started with a head massage then transitioned into the main event- what feels very ritualistic, the wash and scalp cleanse. 60 minutes of pure bliss and peace (so much so, my Oura ring thought I took a nap!). I felt so relaxed by the end. I often leave a headspa more relaxed than I came, but feel like my scalp has been overly scrubbed/treated (if that makes sense). I left AZ Body Bar with my scalp feeling balanced, and floated to my car. A few notes for your first visit- 1) Book online- very easy, plus you'll get auto reminders pushed to you 2) Park in the garage near Etta or Eddie V's then walk to the side where Sol Cantina and Eddie V's is (along the Greenway Hayden Loop)- once you enter the lofts, you'll quickly find the suite. 3) As with all headspa experiences, you'll be given a towel wrap to change into, and then tuck yourself into a bed, it can get a little chilly (especially with the water on then turned off, etc.) so wear cozy socks- they'll provide a booster for under your legs! 4) You leave with wet hair (I remember being surprised the very first time I went to a headspa) so have a plan to head home to blow dry!

Instead, it felt very comparable to what you can get with a basic gym day pass--infrared sauna, steam room, mineral pool, and cold plunge. My gym already offers all of that, so I was expecting something more unique or spa-exclusive. The biggest issue for me was cleanliness. The hot tub/pool area really needs a deep clean--there were visible skin cells and buildup along the edges, which completely took away from the experience and made it feel unhygienic. Overall, the atmosphere has potential, but between the cleanliness concerns and the lack of anything that sets it apart, I wouldn't recommend it. You can honestly get a very similar experience elsewhere for a fraction of the cost.
