Had a bad experience here. I came in with red patches on my body, and they immediately diagnosed it and wanted to bill me for a diagnostic where they tore a piece out of my back and sent it away. Their diagnosis was wrong, it turned out to be a food allergy that went away when I stopped eating the food. So, just be careful - they are anxious to bill you, but their diagnosis was not correct for me. read more

This really should be zero Center run by family nurses is called allergy center . Why are you seen by a family nurse that you could have been seen by at Kroger clinic?! My big mistake! When asked if I wanted see their nurse practitioner while making my appointment, I said okay. Don't do this, I should have asked to be seen by Dr. Hayes only. In the past, he has always diagnosed my skin issues during the first visit and either prescribed something or removed it right there and then. The NP refused to say what she thought the 2 small, dry, scaly spots on each arm were. Instead she removed tissue from each spot and sent to the pathologist for a diagnosis. Both spots turned out to be Basil Carcinoma. The total bill came to $834.00 just for a diagnosis! My insurance company covered $580.71. I have to pay $253.29. I called and asked would had it been that much had I seen Dr. Hayes instead of the NP. I was told it would have been same. Not sure if this is true, I have doubts. I told them that I must be paying for the Np's salary! Then I asked what's next? It was another $770.00 to remove the Basil cells. Currently looking for another doctor! read more

Maybe seen my child for 5 mins after waiting an hour past appointment time. Doctor said they didn't have kids so they don't know what kids can take. Still charged me $250 just to tell me, "you can either do a blood test to check for the allergy or we do the testing here later on." $250 for that sentence. read more

I waited almost a month to get in to see Dr. Ben Haynes. Had a difficult time finding the location because my GPS kept taking me past the bldg to another location on Reserve Blvd. From the time I arrived in the main lobby until the time the doctor came into the exam room, was and hour and 15 minutes. [Dr Haynes came in dressed as if he was heading out the door to clean the barn]. He spent all of THREE minutes with me, told me that 'they' would freeze off the spots that needed freezing and remove the milia on my arm. The nurse actually did the removal, and only froze three of the seven spots that needed to be treated. I asked her treat the other four and she said 'they don't really need it yet'. I told her I have had three other instances of skin cancer ---but she just left the room. It is disturbing to think of most patients [who typically only see their dermatologist once a year] and he spends all of THREE minutes in the room with them.... When I called the spa to check on their summer specials, the receptionist asked my name. I asked her why she needed my name to tell be about their summer specials --- and she hung up on me. Will never go back, and will tell everyone I know to avoid this poor excuse for a medical practice/spa. read more

Rude office help!!! I drove over to Reserve blvd and could not find the building (the side facing Reserve blvd is under construction/empty) no sign on building Using my gps with the address as listed on the website it directed me to 396 from there I could see the big sign on the building, but no access. Finally make it to the office. Asked the office staff if they new the direction are to 396, "oh it's been like that and most people can find the place." Suggestions PUT A LARGER SIGN on reserve blvd not the tiny sign that looks like advertising for sporting leagues. Lose the slacker attitude and fix the problem. read more

I only write this review so that no one has to go through what I went through. I went to the Skin & Allergy Center to have a cyst removed on my lower back. They assured me the procedure was simple, recovery wouldn't take long, they were capable of performing the removal, and it would all be a breeze. It absolutely was not. I had the removal in mid June. They stitched the wound closed and gave me detailed care instructions, which I later learned from an actual wound care clinic were not what I should've been doing for the surgery they performed. I called and asked if they were sure this is how I should be treating the wound, they assured me yes. The wound stayed soft and gooey and began to bruise. After that it became yellow and enflamed and looked infected, I called again and they assured me to continue on. I went to get the stitches out two weeks later, and the wound was still soft and not healed AT ALL. I expressed my concerns to the nurse as she prepared to take the stitches out that the wound wasn't healed and it would be open if she took them out. She said it would be fine and proceeded to remove them even though it looked like a gross infected mess.Throughout all of this I had been in loads of pain. I was having to leave work early because I couldn't sit at my desk all day, any time I would move the wound would pull and be sore and bleed. Of course, the wound opened and reveled all the damage they had done. I called and expressed my concerns, I stopped by and saw the nurse and showed her how terrible it looked. She simply applied antibiotic lotion and prescribed me an antibiotic that did absolutely nothing. I kept up my cleaning routine they offered, even though that was only making it worse. I did this for a few more days but nothing changed, the yellowness only spread and the pain became worse. I went back for the last time and saw the doctor who performed the extraction. She "removed the infection" which hurt so terribly, and then gave me more antibiotic and said to "keep cleaning as normal" even though that obviously wasn't working. It only got worse. I finally had to seek medical treatment from an actual wound care clinic who were appalled at the damage that had been done and how awful my wound looked. This was in late July and it took two months after that for the wound to heal completely. On a procedure that should've been easy and simple. This was one of the worst experience i've ever had with a "professional." I only leave this review so no one will have to go through what I did, especially someone without good insurance or someone who's employer isn't as understanding as mine was, because I racked up thousands of dollars in medical bills from the wound care clinic because the Skin & Allergy Center botched the procedure from the get go. Please do not use this facility. read more

I have been going to Dr. Rabb since the day he opened his practice and I have watched it go from a first class dermatologist to being concerned now about cosmetic issues. I went for one of many return appointment when I found a spot on my forehead. It was biopsied and team to need a mohr's procedure by another dermatologist in the practice. I went to the appointment and was named by the nurse and Dr. Rob walked in and said he was not going to take it off because it would be a cosmetic nightmare. Treated it with liquid nitrogen. Fast forward to three months later when I made an appointment with a dermatologist in Tuscaloosa and after five biopsies of suspicious areas she found another spot on my forehead that is a melanoma. Not one dermatologist in that practice even noticed it much less the four other spots that were on the back of my arms and legs. If I hadn't had the feeling that something was still wrong this could have advanced into something much more serious. If you have health concerns and not cosmetic issues I suggest you find a different dermatologist! read more

My wife made an appointment at the Murfreesboro location and was told what to expect in the way of payment due. When she arrived the cost had increased substantially with no explanation offered. She explained what she had been told and what we had budgeted for, but no effort was made to explain the change. It appears to be a bait and switch scam where they expect most people to sheepishly accept the hidden costs. It was unprofessional and very questionable. read more

My 13yr. old is experiencing problems with acne, took her to the Spring Hill office. Saw the Dr. five minutes, and he prescribed an antibiotic. Seemed simple, until my insurance did not cover script, would cost $1000! The nurse told me to call my ins. to get a covered med, so I did. It has been three weeks now, and still NO script, and NO resolution to problem. I made several calls to the Pharmacist, to the NO HELP--DO NOT BOTHER ME nurse at the office, and to my ins. co. The nurse WILL NOT EVEN RETURN MY CALL NOW, SO RUDE!!! They certainly cashed my $60.00 co-payment though. Expensive WASTE OF TIME! read more

My visit was a disaster and I would not want anyone to experience what happened to me. I made an appointment do to an Autoimmune Condition which has caused inflammation around my eyes and on my face. The NP came into the room, spent all of 2 mins and never even let me finish telling her about my condition. She told me it was due to an allergy which it was not... and then she told me to come back in two weeks after using this medication she gave me. By the time I got home the Skin and Allergy Center had already called my Insurance Company to approve Skin Testing costing over 800.00. I was told the insurance company said they would pay 100 percent of this procedure but if not I was responsible for all of the price. I never agreed to any skin testing nor was I going to set a date for any skin testing. Then I tired the medication given me in samples and it made the Rosacea worse on my face and even damaged my vision in my eyes. Come to find out the med I was given cost 600.00 dollars per 60 gm tube. After seeing my Eye Doctor with an emergency visit to his office I was told to report this Skin Allergy Clinic and not to continue the medicines they gave to me. I almost lost my vision in both my eyes. This was a horrible experience and I will never go back to this Skin Allergy Center ever again. read more
