I scheduled some pampering as a part of my birthday celebration. This business came highly recommended and I was particularly excited about supporting it. You can't tell from the outside how well appointed it is inside. Very nicely decorated. Unfortunately there is no real external signage so just pay attention to the numbers on the building. There was also plenty of parking so that was great. I was greeted immediately when I arrived and handed my forms to fill out. I used the online tool to book my appointment. I called and left a message and never received a return call but had already booked online. There is a bit of inconsistencies between the service descriptions online and what is available in the booking tool. I'll schedule myself for a 55 minute facial at 5 PM and a 90 minute massage at 6 PM. So a total of 2 1/2 hours of services. I arrived exactly at 5 PM. I had planned to arrive earlier but my hair appointment right before ended late. Of course when you arrive you have to fill out paperwork and I needed to do separate paperwork for the facial and massage. It would be really helpful for spa services to send you these via PDF ahead of time so that they can be complete when the customer arrives. I completed both forms and was informed that they were prepping the room for both my facial and a massage. I'm thinking they may not have realized that those two appointments were for the same person. My massage started about 5:30 PM so we were already 30 minutes off schedule. JEANETTE performed my massage and it was fantastic. She did some thing which I've rarely experienced and she actually read the form, asked me questions, and incorporated that into my massage. Sometimes I wonder why they have you fill out the form because I don't see them read it and they don't ask me about the information I put on there. She also gave me some recommendations for stretching exercises and how to care for a shoulder injury. The only downside to the massage was what she was using on my skin. I'm accustomed to oils and this did not feel like an oil. Then when they ask you to take the three breaths at the beginning I expected to inhale a scent like lavender or chamomile or one that you chose. There was no scent on her hands when I inhaled. Lastly, the massage was done by 6:45 PM. So it was not a 90 minute massage, it was a 75 minute massage so I got cheated out of 15 minutes. She left the room to allow me to put on a robe and drink some water to prepare for my signature one facial. She returned to the room a few minutes later with the products and the face steaming machine. I was a bit surprised it took as long as it did since I had been told they were setting up my facial items when I had arrived which is what caused the initial delay. She then had some difficulties with the machine and that took up about another 10 minutes until she was able to get that resolved. So my facial started after 7 PM. The steam was very very hot and very close to my face and only focused on my forehead so I had to ask her to adjust those. I did have makeup on so I expected that she would remove my make up and then, as I've experienced with previous facials, use the magnifier to inspect my skin to determine its condition and what products would be best. That did not happen. The steam stayed on my face from most of the facial which I haven't experienced in other facials. She inspected my skin after the exfoliants and said I had great skin. I do have oily skin and extractions are typical especially around my chin and nose and jaw area. However at the completion of my facial she had not done any extractions and when I asked why she said that whatever products I was using at home are great and I didn't need extractions. I think at this point she was tired and ready to go home so I did extractions myself when I got home because I definitely needed it but I'm sure it wasn't as thorough as what I would have received from a professional facial. She also did not indicate what products she was using and why. This is usually a upsell opportunity for me to come back for a facial for my specific skin needs like anti-aging, etc. or to sell me some products. Lastly, she did not cover my hair which I'm also accustomed to with facials. They usually clip a towel around your hairline. As a result the beautiful curls and coils I had just paid over $150 for at the salon were steamed out. Overall, I will definitely return and I will definitely recommend the business to others. If I were to go back for a facial I may try a different aesthetician to see if I get a different experience. read more

I cant let the night end without raving about my experience at the black owned Skin and Body Klinic located in Willingboro, NJ. I felt extremely comfortable as soon as I walked in, I was greeted like family. Tiffany was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions since this was my first spa experience. She offered great advice regarding my skin and we are now on the right path to it being the healthiest it can be. Jazymn did my gel mani and pedi. She took her time to insure every nail was polished perfectly. She paid great attention to detail with each service. I went to this salon because they do bio sculpture gel nails. I appreciate the time the manicurist took to tend to my nails and cuticles but i am very disappointed with the final result. Like any hard gel, it is supposed to last at least 2-3 weeks with a smooth surface. It has not been even a week and the gel is chipping off. There is no finishing, very uneven ridging. Though Tiffany was very friendly and professional I am skeptical on her knowledge on waxing. For one she double dips and for those that are not familiar with the term it is using the same waxing stick either for multiple clients or one person more than once. The issue with this is once you've applied the stick to my face, legs, vaginal area, or whatever is being waxed and you stick that stick back in the wax you've contaminated your wax with my skin cells or viruses if I have any open wounds. Now I'm not sure how often she dumps her wax but I know I don't want all the ppl she's waxed for the day skin cells on me or all the ppl she's waxed with that same wax pot cells on me. Prior to me receiving this service I told my boyfriend about this woman I was going to (I just moved to willingboro from NY) for wax and he said he's never heard of her, him being a barber in the hair and skin community was very skeptical. Because he was skeptical I canceled the Brazilian and opted for just chin and eyebrow service. Once I saw she double dipped and didn't thread brows I decided to only ask her to clean my unibrow if it had grown in. In hindsight I should've asked for a mirror to see for myself but for someone who claims to sculpt brown and do tinting for a simple unibrow wax she messed it up. The lady took off my eyebrow. Not a little but like very noticeable that I had no hair in my uni section and instead of telling me there's no need there she waxed off my brow to charge me for a cleanup. I am very disappointed and I wouldn't recommend anyone to come there. read more

I made an appointment here for a lunch time facial. I'm pregnant and just wanted something quick to relax for a bit. I've been really nauseous and was worried I wouldn't even be able to enjoy this facial. Boy was I wrong! Tiffany was amazing! She was professional and kind.
