I told Dr Paquet I didn't want the result to be too noticeable; he did such a great job that my husband could barely tell. I can tell of course, but I still look like me. When I went in to the surgery center they were so kind - and my anesthesiologist was amazing. Surgery went very smooth. When I left the center I had about 48 hrs of discomfort and couldn't do much, but on day 3 I was out of bed doing a few things for myself and no longer needed pain meds, only OTC. I never had dark bruising!! Only a little yellow appeared on day 4 through 6. On day 7 I was getting antsy to leave the house, all bruising gone, and on day 8 I had the splint removed and immediately loved the look which has only gotten better with time. My neighbors came over the night I had my splint off and did not notice, they were amazed I had surgery only the week before when I told them. He changed offices by this time, and the professionalism at that office, was not brought over to the new one. There is an almost flippant attitude in the new office that is kinda scary considering ppl are having surgery. But, since I liked him and my experience removing them was good, I used him again. Removing implants is much simpler than putting back. I also got some lipo on my tummy. Another surgeon discouraged me from doing that, he said the skin won't shrink back. Dr Craft didn't think it would be an issue, but it was. That is still an issue ,I need repaired, my stomach looked better before the surgery. After he put the implants back, the breast that had the ruptured implant, didn't heal correctly, as not all the scar tissue was removed. So I had to wait another 6 months for a surgery to correct this......................................................................... Unfortunately that surgery was a disaster! I was bruised from my breast to my hips, with a bruise that lasted 6 months! I also now have a small puckered scar above the incision. More concerning is that, the newly redone implant did not stay in the pocket, and slid out in the corner. 2 dif Radiologists in a breast clinic examined me, and both were concerned about my safety bc of this. I told Dr Craft what they said, his response was, "It's still in the pocket, I used an under/over method that they probably weren't familiar with". It was a clinic in Newport Beach that did nothing but breast exams, so I'm quite sure, there was no method they hadn't seen......................................................................................... I wanted to believe him over them bc, I didn't want ANOTHER surgery, but I KNEW by how awful it felt, it wasn't in the pocket. I started wearing very tight (too small) compression bras 24/7, and the implant seemed to go back in the pocket temporarily. I told him the really tight compression bra moved the implant back in the pocket. His response was, "Well if it comes out again, you can use the compression bra again"! I was dumbfounded. I thought he was just wrong about the implant not being in the pocket. Then I knew, he did know it wasn't, and was lying................................................................................................... I lost ALL respect for him after that. I haven't been able to have surgery AGAIN yet to fix it bc of health issues with loved ones. Now I need to fix it ASAP, bc it's very, very painful. I'm so sick of wearing compression bras 24/7! I've had to do this for the last 3 yrs. I wouldn't go to Dr Craft for any surgical procedure. Being able to admit you made a mistake, that you don't have the ability to fix it, is necessary in cosmetic work or any surgery.

Eight weeks later, I went back to complete under my bra area and mid-back. Going into it, I was honestly terrified because I'm not a fan of pain at all. Mind you another doctor emailed me saying he could get it close to invisible for $2k. Dr. Chasby told me that it was permanent but refused to make a record of his medical opinion which I needed for my law suit, saying it wasn't as bad as other scars he's seen. Just because it isn't as bad, doesn't mean it still isn't a permanent ugly bite mark on my body that I do not deserve and will have for life. It's my body, and I WILL BE THE ONE who decides what looks 'fine' on MY BODY. He then stated that he "could not give me extra padding if I planned to file a law suite." No sir, I am not requesting that. But I am requesting you make record of the professional opinion you gave me that I am indeed permanently scarred. He then had the nerve to tell me that my legs looked great regarding their muscle tone attempting to distract me from my frustrated tears. Unfortunately I was his learning curve and his biggest mistake I was left in a horrific and unfixable state because of this one man with a degree. Oh, and guess what if you're a cancer patient you can't even sue a plastic surgeon because any of your treatments can be used against you, instead of blaming the real cause, my Dr. that didn't see the signs of infection or immediately take action to help the patient. Even the various doctors that I saw me later told me all of his mistakes caused my disfigurement. I quit calling him Dr. because to me he hasn't earned that title, only man that didn't handle his mistakes probably. Even at our last appointment before he moved to Arizona, giving me packets of gauze telling me to change the dressing myself as I was in pain and oozing.. but he was moving to Arizona and I wasn't his concern anymore, or so he thought. I went to the emergency room myself that night had two different infections they admitted me immediately. I was lucky to live through the Serratia from unsterile medical equipment and other infections. My whole life was changed forever. I couldn't return to my normal job ever or ever have normal boobs again.. I am still not normal and think of him every time I have to look at my boobs just praying they will be normal to some degree again. My recovery after he moved lasted over 2 years. First there was a series of open wound treatments, 3 weeks as an inpatient in hospital and numerous other medical procedures. Oh yeah let's not forget having to insert interventions antibiotics 4 x's a day myself through a pic line because without it I would have died. After all these years, I am still finding forgiveness hard, but moving forward with my life by helping others make informed decisions. I hope the best for him and his new patients and hope no one has to endure what I did. I will keep moving forward and continue to practice forgiveness..Oh and the icing on the cake his former office still calls me to pay the left over bill too..yes ridiculous!! Do better Sigalove!!!
