The spa is beautiful, neat/clean and the front staff are usually kind and professional. We loved the service and results and decided to make Glow Bar our go-to spot for injectables. Unfortunately, over time things changed when we started getting booked with the owner, and the overall experience and vibe became noticeably different. Not sure if she's just not a people person, or if it's some sort of complex, but her overall bedside manner is non existent. Every appointment got more awkward, and rushed. Whenever we asked questions, instead of feeling listened to or educated it felt like we were being talked at and dismissed. As clients, we don't expect someone to always agree with us or tell us what we want to hear. We DO value professional guidance and education, but there's a difference between providing expertise and making clients feel unheard or uncomfortable for asking questions. We also noticed a pattern where she kept pushing different products than what we originally came for. And I get it, part of the job is informing clients about options, but the way she did it felt forceful/hostile rather than informative. After repeated experiences like this, it genuinely started to feel as though we were not the type of clients she valued or wanted to work with. If that's the case, I think it would be better to be upfront about the type of clientele they prefer rather to making people feel unwelcome over time while still taking their hard earned money. The last straw for us was just a few months ago. After years of booking here, we had a real emergency and had to call and cancel last minute. And instead of a standard courtesy message or an email (like most established businesses do), she sent a personal angry text to my phone. It came across more like a threat than a professional policy reminder. It's really disappointing, we stayed for years, hoping things would improve, because we had such a positive experience in the beginning but we realized that every appointment left us feeling anxious and uncomfortable than confident. And that says a lot. I'm sharing this for future clients: results matter, but so does feeling respected and safe in the process.

At that time, I was offered a package of four sessions for $799, but declined since I had an upcoming surgery. On February 18th, I returned and asked to purchase that same package I had been offered on January 12th. I was told it was no longer available, so I declined and got up to leave. At that point, the staff member changed her position and said I could have the four-session package for $799. When I noticed the paperwork reflected only three sessions, I questioned it and was told the three sessions would begin on my next visit in March. I returned in March and again on April 16th, at which point I was told that visit was my final session. When I questioned this, they acknowledged that I had purchased four sessions, counted my January 12th visit toward that total, and stated they had no record of me paying for that visit. When I pointed out that I had in fact paid $198 on January 12th and offered proof, the explanation changed again and I was told I had only purchased three sessions for $799. The inconsistency and changing explanations were extremely frustrating. At this point, I would consider going somewhere else. They clearly are not an honorable establishment.

Rhinoplasty Review Issues…read more I am horrified by my overall experience and result. During my consultation, I explained that my main concern was that the tip of my nose appeared too large and round. The consultation felt rushed, but I moved forward with surgery trusting Dr Tyrone's expertise. After my rhinoplasty, I called the office twice while my cast (which was just tape) was on because it felt extremely loose. I offered to come in to have it checked, but the nurse reassured me it was fine. When the cast was removed, it was barely attached to my face, and the nurse even commented that it was the easiest cast she had ever removed. As swelling went down over the next few months, it became clear something was wrong. The tip of my nose remained very large and pointed/crooked and one nostril began collapsing, my nose ran constantly, and I developed a noticeable lump on the outer nostril that did not resolve. When I raised concerns, I was often met with brief responses such as "that's odd" or told it would go away. A steroid injection was done to try to shrink the tip but that wasn't helpful. I noticed that the nasal bones at the top of my nose were protruding outward, causing VERY visible divots along the bridge and a very flat and bumpy appearance across the bridge. The bones that protrude outward are causing an inverted V shape on my nose. The tip of my nose is also noticeably crooked and my nostril look completely uneven. All of these irregularities are very noticeable, painful and very obvious. Instead of addressing the structural and cosmetic issues, Dr. Tyrone suggested placing filler in my nose for $400 to camouflage the mistakes. I obviously declined. I sought out two separate second opinions from other surgeons. Both confirmed that I was left with an open roof deformity and an inverted V deformity due to over-resection of bone. These are structural complications that are noticeable and painful and unfortunately, I may not be left with enough cartilage to fix my nose unless a surgeon harvests cartilage from elsewhere. Dr. Tyrone offered a revision surgery ONLY after I mentioned that I knew I had serious issues going on. He seemed annoyed. Unfortunately, for a revision, he quoted me nearly half of the original rhinoplasty cost, with no assurance of correction. I was told he could "try" to rasp down the sharp edges, but there was little confidence expressed. He said my nasal bones are comparable to a greenstick fracture. He said there's a lot of risk in revision and he wasn't very encouraging as he doesn't offer revisions. Due to financial limitations, I was essentially dismissed. I asked the woman working at the front desk if I needed to be seen again, as I was being seen every 2 months for a check up. I was told I would be seen again if I proceeded with revision surgery. I saved for years for this procedure. I am now left with pain, visible deformities on the center of my face, and no resolution at this time. I wish I had done more research before proceeding. Personally, I would be ashamed keeping someone's money and this be the outcome. Not only that, but if I went through with a revision surgery, I would be paying nearly half the cost of my original surgery. Please take your time, do multiple consultations with different surgeons and make sure you feel fully heard before moving forward with any surgery. My advice, please don't go here.
