Finally, this past week I decided I would stop in for a pedicure instead of driving to my usual spot. Let me tell you something: trying new nail salons makes me VERY nervous. It always has and I'm sure it always will. Typically, you have to feel out which nail technicians you like but this place surprised me. I walked in with about an hour until close and was warmly welcomed. I asked if they had time for a pedicure and one lady smiled and said "yes, of course!" before she ushered me to the back of the store so I could sit down. She also went and grabbed me a whole book of colors (which I prefer over other methods) and let me browse while another woman prepared my water and started my pedicure. What I loved: -Attention to detail -They stayed a little after close and didn't rush -Choosing my scent for the scrub -The foot/calf massage -The massage chair -The whole Hawaiian vibe and interior -The jewelry for sale What I wish was different: -It took awhile for a pedicure (almost two hours) She spent a lot of time using her nail to get off excess color. -I wish there was another coat of color (I didn't think to ask) -You need to tell them if you want to tip before!
