I ordered a wig that apparently wasn't in…read morestock, yet available on the website So almost a week later I get a call 6 in the evening when I'm picking my son up from school and Kim is explaining they don't have the wig I ordered online etc.. and she goes on to tell me that she can text pics of colors of wigs that she DOES have. So a day or so went by, headed to work realizing Kim never send the pic like she promised. (Mind you I needed the wig week by the following week) so I called back the number she last contacted me on. She went completely OFF about how I shouldn't have her personal number (yet she called me from it) All in all it was a horrible experience to get treated like that by the owner. Sometimes you try to support black businesses, but they don't always give good service. In this case all I wanted was the buy a wig and got nothing but attitude. This was my very first time using this place and it will surely be the last! I told the owner Kim I didn't even want the $40 wig she could just issue me a complete refund.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!…read more Since I had a couple days off I decided I'd treat myself to a day of beauty. Sooooo, I wanted to try false eyelashes. I researched some info on it and I found a salon called Mink Lounge on Elvis Presley. The prices seemed reasonable and the customer reviews were pretty good. I was SO excited to give them a try. They even advertised they had a special going on. (Yay!!). I wanted the individual lashes for a more natural look. The young assistant was very nice and applied them on my left eye. Even though they were the shortest ones available in my price range they still were too long in my opinion. I didn't really like them. So Kim, the owner told her assistant to take them off and that she (Kim) would personally do them herself but I would have to wait a moment until she finished with the customer she was currently tending to. So I waited while she finished that customer and another customer. Finally, I was the only customer left and by that time I had decided instead of the eyelashes I would get my teeth whitened (they advertised a special price). So Kim, the owner informs me that I have to make an appointment to have the service done. I asked her why, thinking maybe she had to wait on the supplies but she said that was the company policy. Mind you: 1. I am the only customer in the shop. 2. Kim stated the procedure only takes about 15-30 mins. 3. The website and FB page advertises they accept walk ins. 4. Kim is intent that I book online which requires a credit card. (Even though I would have paid in cash) 5. She told me because I was paying cash that the price was $20 more than the original price. Stunned at the sudden price increase and the fact that she told me "YOU ARE BEING SO DIFFICULT" I politely got up and left. I'm still not sure if she was mad about the fact I didn't want to give her my credit card info or if I didn't like the product but if you're a business owner here's some advice for you: 1. Remember the customer has a CHOICE on where to spend their money. 2. If you lack the patience of "dealing with customers" then close your doors. Please note the only reason I gave it one star is because it wouldn't let me post the review without one.

I decided to visit this location after my normal contact decided to take some time off. Upon…read morearrival, there were quite a few ladies waiting for service. It was pretty warm inside and quiet. There was no music playing, no conversations and as a matter of fact no one greets you once inside. (Reason for the star removal) Luckily, I did not have to wait too long before being called. Ruby took care of my brows and she did a wonderful job! I have thick brows that can be a bit difficult to tame, but she handled them really well and did not thin them out or chop off the ends. This was a good option for me in the Southaven area and will be my choice going forward whenever I don't feel like traveling out to Cordova.
