Personally I don't need a gilded office, I just need an experienced tech who knows her stuff. That's Jillian. She has over 20 years in the business. Better than getting some young 20-something tech you may find at the larger establishments. Jillian is very attentive. She'll take whatever time it takes with you. No rush job. She will also shave you if you've missed some spots, which I always do. Some places plainly state they do not shave. Her equipment is one of the best lasers in the industry. (I researched it). Not all laser machines are the same. She will appropriately space out your sessions. If a place tells you they recommend sessions every 4 weeks, leave immediately. They're just there to take your money and hurry  you through. For example, I go every 10 weeks for my Brazilian. A couple of weeks less for other areas.  Jullian  tailors a plan based on the area done and your hair growth speed.  At consultation, she did a couple of test laser zaps to check my skin reaction (not all places will offer to test you at consult). Having the test zaps  is also an opportunity for you to understand the pain that is involved so you will be prepared for your first visit. It is excruciating. You MUST have a numbing regimen. Don't believe the people when they say it feels like a rubber band snap. NO! You will start questioning life itself when that laser hits you if you aren't properly numb in certain sensitive areas.   Towards the end of my consultation, as I was lying on the table, I felt so comfortable with her, I literally said to her, "I like you Jillian. I'm not going to bother looking anywhere else" (she was the first place I went to for a consultation). I felt like I had known her for years. And I'm not kidding. I have had a few sessions done. I am very pleased with my results.

I originally had no issues with my nose. Due to some breathing discomfort between my throat and…read moretrachea, I went to see Dr. Furst. The doctor asked me to get a CT scan of my nose and neck. After reviewing the scans, he told me that I had a deviated nasal septum that needed surgical correction, and that there was inflammation in my sinuses that needed to be cleared out. He also said he would enlarge the sinus openings to allow mucus to flow more easily. I told him that I didn't feel any discomfort in my nose, so why was surgery necessary? He said that generally, the nose, throat, and trachea are connected--if the nose is fixed, everything else would get better. He assured me that I would fully recover in two weeks, and I believed him, so I went ahead with the surgery. It's been almost two years since the surgery, and I am living in agony. There's a buildup of mucus in my nasopharynx that won't drain down, can't be cleared out, and I can't swallow it either. At night, the mucus flows back into my airway, making it hard to breathe and affecting my sleep. Sleep is so important for a person--poor sleep leads to countless problems. I used to be someone who could fall asleep the moment my head hit the pillow, but now, because of the postnasal drip, I wake up constantly throughout the night. I have tried everything I can, but the thick, sticky mucus keeps accumulating in my nasopharynx. Sometimes, my nasal turbinates swell up, making it even harder to breathe. On top of all this, I now get bacterial infections in my nose almost every month, and each infection makes me suffer for one or two weeks! If I could go back two years, I would slap myself a hundred times for listening to that doctor's advice and agreeing to the surgery. When I went back to see Dr. Furst after the surgery, he told me my nose was fine. So here's the truth: I had no problem with my nose, the doctor told me I had a problem and performed surgery, and now that I'm worse, he claims there's nothing wrong. This is an extremely irresponsible doctor. I'm truly living a life worse than death now. If one day I'm no longer around, it will be because of the surgery Dr. Furst performed. His surgery didn't help me--it ruined me! I had my first laser before had 8 sessions in Hawaii and their laser was extremely painful this was 2015 but the hair grew back super fast and maybe my hair growth cycle was different then. The laser at flawless is truly FLAWLESS! It's an amazing laser it's not painful and it gets the job done. When I first went there I didn't even need the full package but they told me to do it just to make sure I get the full results which I did! I think you need 9 session or 10 depending on your hair growth cycle and type. I was on birth control so I had way more hair growing and they told me it could be the hormones. Well it's still went away! I got touch ups here and there maybe 3 times every 1 year. Right now it's been a full year and I have not been to the clinic to get laser it's hardly any hair just a little at the top. Enough to only get one treatment for the whole year. I have also tried their laser facials but I will say do this during the winter I think I did mine during the summer with no sunscreen. Do this in the winter with sunscreen but my facial turned out really beautiful on me I would def do that again. It is a bit far from me but they have amazing service extremely professional. Overall I can say without any doubt that my hair and scalp are better after having done the laser treatment for several months, and having used some of their products, than if I had not done the treatment. My scalp is revitalized and there is regrowth. I actually did not use the minoxidil and only used one of the oral supplements they suggested because of reactions and secondary effects. The topical products (shampoo, etc.) they give us to use as part of the treatment are of very good quality, and nice and easy to use (and I continue using them even after the laser treatment is over). There is a deeper root cause to my dermatitis and hair thinning though, and I have not been able to find out what it is yet. I continue trying different things in my lifestyle and diet and I'm not giving up. But Trichological Associates still made a huge beneficial difference and I may go back for another treatment maybe in one year or so if I still need to.
