In May '14, I started to develop adult acne, which was so depressing. I attempted to get extractions and facials, but nothing was working. My girlfriend had been going to Piel for a few months and her skin was/ still is glowing! So I gave it a shot at the end of August '14 and it's the best thing I've done for my skin. I said that I wasn't sure and the doctor said a nurse would come check in but no one did. She then shrugged again and said, "well if that's what the doctor said..." She then proceeded to say, "That's $400 up front" (I was getting a cosmetic procedure.) LOL as if I didn't know what I needed to pay? Why would she feel the need to say that to me since she's not even the front desk receptionist who takes the payment?? There was no care, helpfulness, a genuine smile, patient service or kindness from her. And that's uncommon, as all the staff here is usually very nice, polite, and friendly. Maybe she was just having an off morning. But still, I don't think that's a proper justification. The doctor (afterwards, I saw her in passing and mentioned that the nurse didn't come in to check on me / let me know I'm good to leave) did say they were a bit short staffed that morning.

An office like this truly needs to be placed on the line light for the nonsense they probably do on a regular basis. I should've trusted the negative reviews, so hopefully if anybody reads this, just know that those negative reviews are not lies. I confirmed today lol I had a 7:40 PM appointment and arrived early at 7:25 PM with my daughter. I was buzzed into the building, so it was clear someone was present. When I reached the office door, there was a sign stating the door was open and needed to be turned fully. However, the door was locked. My daughter and I both tried multiple times, knocked repeatedly, and rang the bell, but no one answered. After waiting about 10 minutes, I returned to the front entrance and used the buzzer again. I told whoever answered that I was there for my appointment, but received no response. A few minutes later, someone buzzed me in again, confirming people were inside, yet nobody opened the office door or acknowledged us. I received no call, text, email, or cancellation notice. I traveled with my child, paid tolls, and arranged my evening around this appointment. The lack of communication and professionalism was extremely disappointing and a complete waste of my time.
