This place is a mess! Do not go here!!! Beware, they will mess up your skin! My skin has been rough, dry, Breaking out with pimples coming out of everywhere and the worst thing that has recently happened is that I have a big light pigmentation scar right in the middle of my face, that I did not have ever in my life. I got a microbrasion treatment with my fiancé on Valentine's Day weekend and I thought it was nice; however, the lady rushed my treatment because she was the only one working on me and my fiancé. It was terrible... it was loud in the lobby and very unprofessional. Then they recommended me a lot of over priced after care items which later I learned it contributed to my skin being damaged. I have sensitive skin and the products burn my skin badly resulting in my face peeling,drying, breaking out, and light pigmentation scar. I had no idea that this was the end result, I will be contacting them tomorrow in person to show them what they did, this is definitely not right! I really enjoyed the LB location it was the best Brazilian wax I've ever had. It took an hour but I didn't mind because a good wax takes time. The lady(manager) was nice and personable, she started with a soft wax, then hard wax, and followed by extracting any ingrown etc. She even offers a steam with a small additional charge I believe. This review isn't for her it's just generally for the owner of both locations Pam. I would be a long-standing customer is locations weren't shut down and when I tried to go to Carson location for a facial the lady answering phone was so rude and just yelled over me anytime I spoke. I overlooked that and am currently! At this moment trying to call both locations and no one can handle answering the phone. Don't say your open if your not. Just lost business because I need to be serviced and they just couldn't answer phone. Lol read more

I love this spa! If your making an appointment try to see Pam she is amazing. I had used some free skin care samples on my skin...because they were free and one of the products contained acid! WELL...I had a really bad reaction such as dry rash patches, itchy skin, etc. I went to Pam for a corrective facial. Plus, I got some custom skin care products to use at home and in about a week I saw a hug difference in my skin. I've been a customer off and on for years but recently I've been going to my dermatologist for more aggressive treatment. But since I received an email advertising microdermabrasion for $49 (reg $75), I couldn't resist. Besides that, I wanted to treat my mom to an anti-aging facial for her birthday. I should've known not to bother since when I called to book, I left a message, but no one called me back. So, the next day I went to the spa in person to schedule. The owner happened to be there so I let her know about the scheduling issue. She apologized and ensured I got booked. 1 esthetician was assigned to me & 1 to my mom, or so I was told. My mom's and my appointments were scheduled for 12pm and that's what time we arrived however we sat in the waiting area for 20 minutes. The receptionist offered us drinks but forgot to get them, she eventually did remember. Finally, my esthetician (who didn't introduce herself) asked me what service I was getting (as if it wasn't written on the schedule or the sign in sheet) led me to a treatment room where there was a gown that I presume was for me to change into (she didn't say) & she told me she'd be right back. I was sitting there a good 15min before she returned. She mentioned that she'd also be doing my mom's facial. I asked her if that's why my mom was still waiting in the reception area. She said that no rooms were available. I wish I would've been informed of this unavailability when they set the appointment. I informed her that another esthetician, Gwen, was supposed to take care of my mom. My esthetician said she'd have Gwen to service my mom and she left the room. Upon her return, she began the treatment. I informed her that this was my 1st microdermabrasion, hoping she'd explain it a bit but she just kinda rushed through it. She answered my specific questions though. Once she primed my face for the actual procedure, she told me my face had to dry completely or the procedure could cause damage. So she left the room for a loooong time because I guess it takes forever for my face to dry even though the process could've been sped up if she used the fan that she used earlier. I ended up falling asleep each time she left the room because she was gone so long. The procedure itself didn't even take that long so I was shocked that it was after 2pm when we left. I was more than ready to go but was delayed even further because I had to stand there and listen to another unhappy customer complain to the receptionist about them not even having her scheduled despite being told over the phone that she had an appointment! Obviously, I'm not the only having these issues. On top of that, the receptionist tried to overcharge me because she "forgot" about the promotional price. What was supposed to be an enjoyable, relaxing experience and a nice surprise for my mom turned out to be tedious and time consuming. read more

I give this place three stars because I love the products. However, the service is not so great. I've had facials before, and each time the service gets worse - long wait times during the service...as if they forgot I was in the room. The last facial I had, the esthetician did not remove the blackheads. Well, today I went in for the body polish because I got it at a great price. I assumed after my body was primed the esthetician would return to wash it off. I was shocked when I was informed that I had to scrub myself, which was awkward because I could not get my back. Plus, the shower head was leaking and spraying every which way. It was horrible, however, my skin felt wonderful. I guess I'll stick to the products. read more
