There was a noticeable sense that something about me made her uncomfortable, although I can't say for certain what it was. Whether it was my queerness or simply the fact that I am an honest and opinionated person, I left the interaction feeling judged and unwelcome. The nurse who was present in the room also appeared to notice that Elizabeth was being unpleasant. When I asked whether Elizabeth was always that rude, the nurse responded, "She's just pregnant." While pregnancy may provide context, it does not excuse unprofessional, disrespectful, or unpleasant behavior toward a patient. The pedicure itself ($35) included no scrubbing of heels themselves, minimal attention to cuticles and a perfunctory-at-best "massage" of the feet and legs. When my attendant asked if things were ok and I said what I'd prefer (slower, deeper massaging, the nails cut straight across other than catty-cornered) he seemed annoyed. Once home, I noticed one big toe was markedly shorter than the other, and there was not polish on the blunt end of either big toe nail. I don't expect the polish to stay on well because of this. Perhaps it was just the manicurist I got, that particular day and so forth, but I won't be chancing it again.

Aren't arms a part of your body? Stomach? Anyways, she came out with patches of hair still left on her and her private area was RAW. The skin was so inflamed and there are literally tears in her skin in that area. This is nowhere near close to her first time getting this area waxed, so she has experienced what it should be like. Even 5 hours after the procedure she is still in pain and can barely touch the area. The technician went over the same areas over and over and that is a huge no-no regarding waxing. Overall, terrible experience at this particular place and will not be returning. We'll just stick to our old place which is more expensive, but you get what you pay for in quality and results.
