Do not trust the pricing, the promises, or the high ratings of this place. My experience perfectly mirrors Carly H.'s review; their membership billing and cancellation process is a complete nightmare and a trap. I wish I had an option to give them 0 stars. I originally went in for the heavily advertised $50 signature laser facial I kept seeing on social media. Once there, they pressured me into joining a membership for a three-session "Power Duo" package, and somehow that initial $50 visit instantly turned into $100. On day one, they took my "before" photos and flat-out guaranteed that my closed comedones and hyperpigmentation would be totally gone after these three sessions. When I completed my third session, I explicitly told the front desk worker that this was my final appointment and I was done. She nodded and said nothing. She completely hid the fact that there was a hidden "cancellation protocol." To make matters worse, at that final visit, nobody even budged to take my "after" photos to see if there was any actual difference in my skin. I brought it up to both the nurse and the front desk, and they simply did not care. They only care about taking your money, not your results. Because of front desk person's silence, they slapped my card with another massive charge the following month anyway. When I called to get my money back, they promised a manager would call me. I am still waiting on that call. It is a fraudulent and misleading way to treat paying customers. Also, if you are wondering why they have so many good reviews, it is because they coerce you into writing them. On my first visit, they told me I had to leave a positive review right there at the front desk in order to get the free hyaluronic acid sample needed for my post-treatment aftercare. They force you to praise them before you even know if the treatment works.My skin did not clear up as promised, and they stole my money through deceptive billing. Management, if you are reading this, I want an immediate refund for the unauthorized charge. To anyone else reading: stay far away unless you want to fight your credit card company to get out of a contract you were never told about. read more

Was refused a service because of having a nose piercing and Monroe piercing on a face. In a form however it said that the cosmetologist will avoid these zones. Do not recommend this place to anyone. Wasted money and time. read more

They weren't able to provide a facial I had booked based on the fact that I'm immunocompromised. I was extremely disappointed. I also had to wait 25 min to learn this after completing their form. I'm a dual organ transplant recipient. I asked if I provided a note from my transplant team would this suffice & their response was No. They did however, give me some wash off mask for home. read more

I'm actually reviewing a place that I never had a service at.. if this is allowed! Believe me, I tried. THREE times. They also said a free facial coupon would be honored since I had the cancel the appointment back when I had Covid. I really appreciated they would still honor it. But when I went to the appt. they said they would not. She said she would talk to her manager and scheduled me in for the next day. I went back the next day and I was not on the schedule. So I said forget the free trial. I'll try it for the reduced rate and if I like it, I'll buy the monthly membership. So I went back the following week and again my appt. was not in the system! I took advantage of the $50 initial consultation. and treatment in November of last year. After that one treatment i was told that at a minimum I would need 6 treatments then evaluate. I had the 6b treatments for sun damage and pigmentation and frankly I have not noiticed any difference. Furthermore, there pricing policy of charging $250 per month whether you make appointments or not is fraud. I have tried speaking with the Westport staff about not charging my card and they shrug and say that is their policy. In other words they will not stop charging you each month. Skin Laundry is a total scam and they get you on a monthly recurring charge that you cannot cancel. Stay away. I am filing a claim with BBB and my credit card company. Finally the technicians that did my treatment WERE NOT NURSES, THEY WERE AIDES. this is unlawful in the state of CT. BEWARE AND STAY AWAY. see a dermatologist and save your money from this scam company. read more
