However, my husband urged me to have some time away from our 1 month old for a little pampering with mani + pedi at the nail salon. Being new to the area, I got a recommendation to visit Paradise. I'm sad to say I am very disappointed. Space was clean and not harsh smelling. Decent selection of polishes - Essie & OPI colors - although they didn't have the Essie color I had in mind. Staff was not very friendly, which I can get over for great service. The nail tech began with my mani at her station first; cleaned, cut, file + asked for payment. I was then led to pedi station with unpainted nails and I was a bit confused. While someone else began my pedi, the first nail tech proceeded to paint my nails, while standing beside my chair. I've never seen such a thing! I want to believe that had she not been rushing and standing, the paint job would have turned out much better. However, the execution was very uneven coverage and inconsistent strokes - biggest nail peeve. Areas around the nail where nail polish crept into were not properly cleaned. The only saving grace was the rich working on my pedi did a better job, although not by much. Sad to say I don't believe I'll be returning. First time here was a fail - too bad! Time to find another nail spot in the area for future pampering :(

The staff was friendly, welcoming, and even offered me water when I sat down (I declined, but still appreciated it). Everyone was kind and made the environment feel comfortable. They suggested powder/dip nails, which I was open to, but I'll be honest the process kind of threw me off. They dipped my whole finger into the powder and reused it, which made me a little uneasy. I didn't see anything that reassured me it was being sanitized, so that part didn't sit right with me. My nail tech, Talia, did take her time, and I appreciated that she wasn't rushing. I also liked that they used a tool to make sure all the nails were even and consistent, that attention to detail definitely showed. That said, I wasn't a fan of some of their pricing and options. Charging an extra $5 just for coffin or stiletto shape feels a bit much, especially since most places include that. They also don't seem to offer or advertise more modern/trendy styles like duck nails. As for the final result... my nails honestly look like press-ons. It's just not my style, so I know now that dip powder isn't for me. Overall, the vibe and service were good, but between the sanitation concerns, pricing, and the end result not being what I like, I probably wouldn't come back for nails. I might give their pedicures a try in the future though.

JENNY was gentle, professional and so neat and clean with every step, and tool used. I am very happy and hope to be returning. It's been a while since someone else has done my feet. I am happy I stumbled upon this cute little place. Girls speak English and Spanish. Definitely recommend.
