Went in for my first skincare consultation ever and was expecting a thorough evaluation where I lie down on the table and have my skin looked at under the light, etc. Maybe that's not how any skincare consultations go, but I was expecting more considering the consultation cost was $95. Your One Stop Shop! Coming from Los Angeles I was having a really really really hard time finding a good esthetician in Southern Colorado. I researched around 12 different esthetician's and decided Skincare 5280 was my best bet. I was RIGHT!!! Nicole is incredible! I came to her knowing my exact monthly routine with my LA esthetician, and Nicole was not offended (you know how some people care more about their ego than their service? Nicole is NOT that way) Nicole does not push her products down your throat or act like only the products she carries will work. I HATE when estheticians make you buy their products as if none of the other products you've invested in can work! I was so impressed by her knowledge that I was willing to change up part of my routine in order to acclimate my skin to the dryness/effects of altitude in Colorado. Nicole spent time going over the products I used (sunscreen, moisturizer etc) and if she wasn't familiar with it (I use some random Korean products!) she looked it up to better understand the active ingredients etc. She knows what is a fad and what actually works/HOW to get it to work for you (ask her about the right way to use hyaluronic acid!) I can't tell you how happy I am with my results. Nicole said something during my treatment that really stuck with me- "You shouldn't be esthetician dependent to have great skin." Meaning that of course I need regular maintenance every couple of months but I shouldn't need to see her 2x or even 1x a month in order for my skin to thrive. I came to Nicole because I needed to get wedding ready. I purchased a package of 4 microneedling treatments as I have pretty bad acne scars and I wanted to even out the surface of my skin. I had received microneedling before in Las Vegas and Nicole is so caring she sends you home with at home care products. My peeling wasn't bad at all and it's also very helpful that once you are done with the treatment, she uses a skin tint so you don't leave red like a tomato and you can go on with your day.
