    Jamie's correction of Brittany's work.
    Leo L.

Jamie is amazing... Brittany is NOT. I'd give a 1 star but as a business owner I wouldn't want to screw over your ratings- here's my review: I REGRET cheating on Jamie with Brittany who totally ruined my brow shape and length. The very first thing I told her was, leave my tails alone... and she chopped my right one off with wax. I wouldn't recommend her for that alone. She doesn't map, she's much too inexperienced to not. No attention to or focused on wrong detail. Thank god Jamie was available to fix the best she could.

Brenda did an amazing job with my brows! I did a brow shaping with threading and im very happy with how they turned out! They are also extra covid safe and sanitize after each person. Highly recommend!

I have been looking for a place to get my brows done but very hesitant seeing as I have not had luck the past 2 years. I've grown them out a couple times due to mistakes made by people I've seen else where..but I am going on vacation next week and my brows haven't been touched since January (it's April now!! ) so these little squirrels had to go! So I trusted the many reviews and went for it..I am glad I did! I got Abi! She made me feel very comfortable and made sure I knew it was okay, in fact, encouraged, to say whether or not something was good/if I wanted something fixed. She even let me know that if I did not like her style that they can pair me up with someone else. Well I will definitely be back to see her as she did such a fantastic job!! She listened to everything I wanted, let me show her my pictures from how I wanted them to look, and even took pictures so we could make sure they stay on track. She was so great. Thanks Abi!! Can't wait to come back!!

Bridget is the best! When I first moved here from Chicago, I struggled to find my brow specialist until I stumbled across Brows. Bridget's insightful expertise and poised consultation put me at easy. I knew then I was in trustful hands. I'm a loyal customer since 2016 (Threading). What's the difference between a great eyebrows and bad ones? One month

What people are looking for Michelle? They are my brows, I specifically said full. She did not listen to the client and did her own thing. And I am the victim. My hair dresser was shocked that someone "a professional" would remove so much when not asked to. Michelle there is no excuse for this work.

    Bumps from their wax

I have been going to Brows for the past year seeing a specific specialist and she killed it at my brows- I have white blonde hair and very sensitive, fair skin and she always got the wax/shaping and color perfect. So I very bummed when she left but figured I could easily see someone else since I had a good experience at Brows but I went in on Friday (it's now Sunday) and did not have a good experience at all. The new woman I saw seemed very standoffish when she came and got me so I accepted maybe she just wanted/needed a quiet appointment, which is totally fine with me. When I tried to explain what I wanted ahead of starting to set clear expectations, it didn't seem like she was paying attention. She barely acknowledged what I said. My eyes water A LOT because of my light eyes, sensitive skin, the lights, etc and she made me feel quite self-conscious about it. She waxed them although when I got home, my partner pointed out my left eyebrow seemed much longer than the right...he barely notices when I dye my hair! And was right. And then per the color- I made it clear I was nervous to end up with super dark brown eyebrows because of how fair skinned I am and she assured me we could do the color in stages and start on the lighter end and then move up which I said sounded perfect SO when she gave me the mirror after the first round, I said something along the lines of "they look great but I think I want them a little bit darker, especially on the inner edges please" and she literally said "no I think the ombré look is good" and sat my chair up to go pay at the counter....I was actually speechless. I'm such a people pleaser and I know I should've spoken up more but I was so unsure of what to do especially since I'd already asked once. I left, paid and tipped but on the drive home, I noticed all these bumps where she waxed. I didn't see them in Brows because of being quickly rushed out. I've done their patch test before and had my brows waxed there with another person for over a year and never had an issue, but the bumps have not gone down and it's Sunday now. Picture attached. Like a full on reaction from the wax- I even went back in on Saturday to pick up my credit card I'd forgotten there and showed the woman at the counter to ask for advice and she said maybe I put something on it (?). I didn't put a thing on my face after and to blame me by suggesting I either didn't follow instructions and put creams or something on my face after a wax or that I did it on purpose, is so disrespectful. Was happy to pay their higher prices for a year when seeing Brenda because I always had a good experience but safe to say that run is over now that she's gone and I'll be finding somewhere else. Huge bummer.

My eyebrow skin was removed on both sides

It's safe to say that most women don't aspire to look like Frankenstein outside of a costume party. After a brow wax gone bad at Brows, my face looks like a monster mash. Yes, I've had my eyebrows waxed before. Many times. Probably too many times since they've gotten thinner over the years. But a good brow tint makes a world of difference. A few days after moving to Denver I got my brows done at the Upper 15th location and no problems at all. Hence the two stars instead of one. What happened the other day is not good. While in the chair, my aesthetician took off quite a bit of skin on both brows. I could feel as soon as it happened, but she didn't say anything. What makes matters worse is that she didn't show me a hand mirror version of her final product (pretty standard when you get a service on your face) and she pretended like nothing happened. Same goes for the gal up front who took payment for my service... she didn't say a word. And yes, it was noticeable. Mistakes happen, especially when hot wax is involved. However, ignoring the problem with a customer isn't the best way to handle a sticky situation (pun intended). It's been two days, two showers later and the raw skin is still noticeable. Not good at all.

    Brows under control.

The esthetician was friendly, boisterous, loud and immediately jumped into performing the service without instructions or warnings. She did a good job applying the under eye patches, tints, etc. When it was time to take the tint off she dug cotton balls into my eyes - way deeper than was necessary and without care - that toxic dye got in my eyes and it was SO painful. She washed my eyes out with saline like 6 times because I demanded it but they still stung. She never apologized - just "yep, it stings don't it", like I was some sort of torture subject. I don't think she was properly trained! I have had my brows and lashes tinted dozens of times in other salons and sure there is a little sting but the esthetitian knows how to carefully remove the dye so that the sting is minimal and she is compassionate and thorough with the saline. I don't think this woman got all the dye out because my eyes still stung for the rest of the day and into the night, extra dry, red on the inside of the eyelid... 3 days later my eyes are still recovering. Google says the dyes are not FDA approved and can cause serious damage to the eyes - I was freaking out. The place is cute but I would NEVER go here again.

The service itself was performed well, and I was satisfied with the quality of the wax. However, the subsequent events have caused significant disappointment and lead me to strongly advise caution to other male clients. The day after my service, I was unexpectedly contacted by the manager and informed that I was banned from the establishment due to an "inappropriate conversation" with the esthetician. This notification was perplexing, as the conversation in question was initiated by the esthetician's small talk. During the service, Reagan asked about my weekend plans. When I initially mentioned that the plans were personal, she indicated that was acceptable. I then shared that my wife and I planned to visit The Scarlet Ranch, a known lifestyle club. As my wife and I are open about our lifestyle, I was willing to engage in general, surface-level discussion. Reagan continued to actively participate, asking multiple follow-up questions about the club's atmosphere, membership fees, types of events, and clientele. I was careful to keep my responses strictly professional and non-sexual, focusing on logistical and social aspects. At no point during this sustained conversation did the esthetician indicate that she felt uncomfortable or ask to change the subject. Therefore, receiving a call informing me I was banned--and being told by the manager that the conversation was "inappropriate to have while getting a male Brazilian"--was a significant surprise. It seems highly unprofessional to ban a paying customer without the service provider communicating any discomfort during the interaction. Feedback on Communication and Professionalism: For the management and staff: Professional protocol dictates that if a client's conversation makes a staff member uncomfortable, the staff member must clearly and politely redirect or end the topic of conversation. Customers cannot be expected to know a provider's boundaries, especially when the provider is actively engaging and asking follow-up questions. A simple, "I prefer to keep our conversation limited to the service," would have been sufficient and professional. This lack of professional communication has resulted in the loss of a repeat client and has created an unnecessarily unpleasant experience. I urge management to review their policies on staff interaction and boundary setting. Recommendation for Male Clients: Due to this experience, I do not recommend this establishment for males seeking a Brazilian wax. While the technique was good, the overall lack of staff maturity and professionalism in handling client conversations is concerning. Prospective clients might consider alternatives like European Wax Center for a lower-cost option. I hope this feedback leads to better communication practices so that other clients do not feel targeted or confused in the future.

So walking into European Wax Center to have strangers rip hair out of my shoulders feels... culturally complicated. My people did not survive centuries of history just for me to wake up one day and say, "You know what would be fun? Let's pour hot wax on my body and rip out my follicles like I'm preparing for the Olympics." And yet... here I am. European Wax Center is clean, efficient, and very easy to book online. Which is great, because it means you never have to call a stranger and say the sentence: "Hello, I'd like to schedule some aggressive hair removal." You check in and within minutes someone is calmly spreading hot wax on you like they're frosting a cake. A cake that is unfortunately attached to your shoulders. Then comes the rip. Somewhere deep inside, my inner Greek barbarian wants to roar and run back into the mountains. Instead I sit there quietly thinking, "Ah yes... this is how the modern man suffers." The staff are nice and professional, though the vibe is definitely efficient rather than spa-day indulgence. This is less "luxury relaxation" and more "well-run hair removal logistics operation." I respect that. Huge bonus: I can walk there. Few things are more humbling than casually strolling down the street knowing you're about to pay someone to violently remove your fur. For the record, I am not going full dolphin. The chest hair stays. That's protected territory. Bear energy must remain somewhere. ;) This is simply about taming the wilderness so I don't look like I'm wearing an invisible sweater. Final verdict: Clean. Fast. Convenient.
