So I'm reviewing a procedure I received called Zwave, not the facility as a whole. I spent about $1000 on a package of 10 treatments and personally didn't see any results at all. The lady who does it, also does my facials and I'm always happy with the service, but I would not recommend this procedure at all. I could have used that money towards anything else and it really pained me because I thought I was going to see a difference but I didn't. read more

I chose Ageless Medspa from the positive reviews in both yelp and google. I used to go to another great place in Lincoln Park but decided to switch due to parking issues. I had a microneedling done with Ewalina who was very courteous and skilled. I haven't seen great results yet as it was to help stimulate the growth of collagen and elastin. It was done early January and I know it takes time and varies from person to person. The front desk receptionist Martina was wonderful and kept offering coffee and water and answered all my questions. After consulting Dr. Sypien for my hyperpigmentation. I made another appointment for Melanage mini peel and this time Kasia did the peel. She also was very knowledgeable. I had hyperpigmentation on both cheeks only. Today is the third day and my skin had peeled on the forehead, nose and around my mouth but not on my two cheeks. I am waiting patiently to see if my brown patches on my cheeks fade. I also got products to apply daily a.m. and p.m. which I am following regimentally. The only downside and complaint that I have is: When I came on Saturday for my appointment and rang the bell. The receptionist opened the door with a scowling face. I was not aware that I had to push the door hard as it was not opening. Also, this receptionist was talking to the other clients in another language and was offering them water etc. but was ignoring us. I also had brought my sister for a facial. She also felt the unwelcome vibes. Receptionists are often the first person that people have contact with and their initial judgments of the business are based on their experience with this individual. First impressions are a driving force in business and therefore your receptionist is extremely influential, as their appearance, manners, knowledge and helpfulness reflect on the entire company. Later on, the other receptionist Martina came to the front desk and I was happy to see her welcoming smiling face. She is wonderful, kind and caring. I would highly recommend Ageless Medspa for the wonderful service and the lovely knowledgeable doctor Sypien and their great aestheticians Ewalina and Kasia. I've been curious about lip fillers for years but was always worried my lips would end up looking fake. I finally decided to speak to a professional about it and called Ageless Medspa because of the location and the excellent reviews. I was not disappointed! First off, the facility is beautiful, clean and cozy. Exactly what you would hope for to relax a nervous mind. Second, all the staff were so sweet, welcoming and helpful. Then, when I met Rachel (the nurse injector) I was completely at ease. She explained the process thoroughly before we ever started and took extra time and care to ensure all my questions were answered, and to make sure she knew exactly what my expectations were. We ended up doing some filler with Restylane Refyne as well as some Botox above my brows to help lift my hooded lids a bit. When doing the filler she would stop occasionally and get my opinion on shape as well as if I wanted more, that way I left happy. The whole process was easy, very minimal discomfort, and I felt confident I was in good hands the whole time. Now, 4 days after the procedure I am SO THRILLED. If I could them a ten star I would. I recently moved to Chicago and was looking for a place with reasonable prices (in San Diego Dysport is $4/unit) on Dysport, nothing came close. Ageless Medspa offers an incentive to returning customers, so eventually it's $6/unit. I had previous went for consultations with two other spas, one which refused to inject me with the low amount I requested and another who tried to pressure me into switching to Botox. The staff at Ageless were friendly, information, and there was no pressure at all. Dr. Sypien is professional, listened to my concerns, and provided spectacular service.
