Fast forward, they are not honoring it. Management didn't come to the table with any options/solutions -- just a reply of "that's the rules". I was sold something of a significant dollar value under a sales pitch that was not accurate. I started with morpheus8 by Alyssa who is #1 the besttttt , super sweet , knows her shit and I would only ever do Morpheus with her again. She knew exactly when to give me a second to regroup and when to blast through the pain. I moved on to fillers and Botox with Simranjit and she killed it !!!! Loved her vibe she is professional and my filler came out perfect . This place was A-OK. I was able to make an appointment pretty easily though some services are only offered on certain days. When making the appointment, staff was really friendly when I called and I was able to get in pretty quickly. Prior to calling though, I had first tried to contact thru their website (no response) and message through Yelp (no response). Once in, front desk was A-OK, got the job done. The person doing my service was friendly, more so than the front desk. It was a super quick appointment, I was in and out. It was honestly kind of whirlwind for a new-to-the-place-client like myself and I didn't feel totally comfortable. Also when leaving, front desk didn't ask how it was or to schedule another appointment or anything along those lines. I honestly won't be going back. Everything here was fine but when I'm doing things to my body, I want it to be excellent! Like I'm looking for great results, friendly service when dropping a couple hundred dollars, time & care & making sure I'm comfortable. Ah well. How to get scammed out of $1800? Go to Skinovatio... I have gone to Skinovatio for Botox 3 times in the past and have had okay experiences, but two weeks ago I went in for both Botox and also fillers for the first time ever. I pre-bought a package for Botox and Restylane and scheduled the appointment on the basis of this package. When I first walked in, the front desk offered me a gift card, but I specifically said I won't be needing one for the appointment because I have prepaid all the services that I was expecting to receive at the appointment. I asked if it would be ok to hold on to the gift card for a later appointment. Then I went into the room to get injected - I told the injector that I will be doing the Botox and Restylane under my eye. She said that to lift the eyes, some of it would also need to be injected into the top of my cheeks. I said ok. My understanding was that she will be using what I already prepaid and will be redistributing it under my eyes and on top of my cheeks. I got injected and went to check out, when I literally almost dropped dead when the staff told me I owed $1800. Apparently, two additional syringes were injected into my face without anyone ever telling me they would be or guiding me through the pricing. I made it clear to the employees that this was the first time I was ever getting fillers, and no one at no moment whatsoever said that this procedure would require 2 additional syringes, and they for absolutely sure did not mention this would be additional $1800. I asked the front desk to clarify multiple times, and when the staff said it is what it is, I paid because I didn't know what else to do. After all, it is not like I could return the product. I even verbally said that I wasn't aware that 2 additional syringes were put in. I emailed Skinovatio about 30min later summarizing my experience and requesting a refund, and they just pretty much said "they thought I knew". If anyone has any advice on how to go about this via customer protection and/or legally, please let me know because I find it mortifying that I need to pay $1800 for something I never knew I was even getting and something that I definitely did not say yes to. I am completely mortified and suggest to avoid this place fully. And if, for some reason, you decide to go here, make sure they give you everything in writing before you get injected. I feel completely scammed. UPDATE UPON THEIR REPLY: once again they are claiming additional syringes were explained to me when they were NEVER mentioned, let alone the cost or the price list prior to the injection. Yes, I did hand my card to pay once they told me I owe something and that was a mistake on my part because I was honestly in pure shock and didn't know what my rights would be given that the product was injected in my face already although I NEVER approved it. If you can show me a recording or a written approval I gave to have 2 additional syringes before I was injected, please do so. Also I didn't assume I would be getting free syringes as you state, I assumed I would ONLY be getting the syringe I paid for and that is it. At no time was an additional syringe mentioned, let alone two. I was also NOT shown my chart before injections and did not ask or approve any "upgrades" that the owner is mentioning. I am SO MORTIFIED AT THIS BUSINESS. I should have known given that they don't show their prices or refund policy ANYWHERE transparently. Ladies beware! I've officially contacted my lawyer. read more

The worst microneedling you could ever done! Recently got microneedling with Sabrina and what a waste of time and money. She definitely didn't go deep enough to make any improvement to the skin . Right when she started I knew she had no idea what she was doing. She had no plan and just went all over my face with the pen instead of working on certain areas with pattern. I'm actually glad that she didn't go deep cause if she did , what she did could have damaged my skin permanently. Normally when it's done correctly it gets super red from the treatment and I wast red at all so I came home and googled the process and found out she did everything wrong. At least educate your staffs or least watch some videos of professionals doing it. She also tried selling more treatments for discounted price $299 with is super high for what I got in an old small salon instead you could get it a doctors office with dermal nurse for that price. ( I got Charged Groupon price as new client so my cheap ass tried to save money , actually wasted money) read more

I really enjoyed my PRP facial with micro needling! It was like a very strong massage and Alyssa was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions! It's about 30 mins for cream to numb you and then 45 mins for the facial! I've already been told my skin glows more so it seems like it worked! I'll recommend the place to my friends! Note: I used a Groupon but they do need a credit card on file in case of cancellations. They charged me a "$25 fee" when checking out and I'm guessing that's tip? Carol is awesome with Botox! I had a horrible experience many years ago at a different spa. Always double check how many years experience your injector has had. Don't just assume they are qualified because as I've come to learn, 2 year minimum is all that's needed to be qualified. Specially if you are up im age and have more deep wrinkles, you need that extra attention versus a 20 yr old who gets Botox. Definitely would recommend Carol at the Lincoln park location. Is strategic and pays attention to detail. The only downfall she is there only once a month which is terrible. read more

I've been visiting New Look Laser Medical for I-Lipo after purchasing a great deal on Groupon. Yelp has great deals too! Shammy has been super friendly and helpful and really set my expectations for me prior to receiving i-Lipo. I was highly impressed. The facility is clean and welcoming. The procedure was painless and worked well. After I-Lipo I didn't have a TON of time to work out, but I walked around while running some errands and did 20 min of cardio. After the first treatment, I felt lighter and more energetic. It felt like one giant detox in a good way! The second treatment took a little more time for my body to release the fat, but worked well. The nurse practitioner was super understanding and didn't push me to get more units than I needed which was nice. I do think the juveau per unit was pricier than some other places (I know it costs less per unit than botox to manufacture) but it was still not out of line with what the standard in Chicago is. I bought a groupon for 6 laser hair removal treatments on a large area. I was a bit nervous at first but Ashley was very informative, sweet, and professional. She made me feel very comfortable throughout this whole process, which made for a very positive experience. The first few treatments were pretty painful but that was to be expected. The sessions are also very quick and I don't have to wait very long. It makes for very convenient in-and-out sessions. I've visited this place twice since they opened their new location in Lincoln Park for IPL (skin rejuvenation). I am so impressed with the results and I'm only half way through my series of treatments. I bought a package of 3 treatments with the option to extend it to 4 if need be. But I'm preach really happy with my results, so we shall see. The esthetician was very conservative too my first time and made sure I was comfortable during and after the treatment. On my second visit she wanted to be a bit more aggressive but again made sure I wasn't uncomfortable. She was very communicative the entire treatment and answered all my questions. I go back next month and have no doubt that it will be another good experience and great results! Update on 8/10/17 - I got a spray tan here before my wedding and couldn't be happier. They suggested I come in twice, the first appointment was to see how I liked the results, and since I did, I came in for the second appointment the following week, 2 days before my wedding. I have been seeing Sabrina for I-lipo for about 3 weeks now and OMG. I have lost over 4 inches in my lower abdomen so far with I-lipo, diet and exercise. Sabrina explained the procedure to me in detail at my first appointment and was patient with my questions about all of it (and I had a lot ). She recommended I pair the i-lipo with velashape and I'm really happy I did. I had my first velashape session with James, who is also very nice!
