The strong chemical odors from the formaldehyde acrylic nails was over powering and it had me coughing within minutes! I would have preferred smelling essential oils in the waiting room to give it a more spa experience, not chemicals. The Esthetician was quiet and cordial and I was disappointed that she did not ask me about my skin type or any concerns I may have with my back. The table was extremely uncomfortable and there was no place to lay my head such as a massage table head cradle. I had to turn my neck to one side for a whole hour and I came home with a stiff neck. The Esthetician did not explain the steps of the back facial treatment, however she did continually upsell me on their "Image" skin care line stating it's "medical" and very good for me. I came to the spa to relax, I did not appreciate an Esthetician turned sales person continually trying to sell me their skincare products. The music that was playing was like a hip hop dance music, I would have preferred calming, soothing spa music again for that "spa experience." A few of the extractions were a bit painful and ultimately the entire experience was stressful and I couldn't wait to leave. I came to Tre MedSpa to decompress and I came out stressed. Another major red flag was that almost all communication was pushed through WhatsApp instead of professional business channels. For a company dealing with expensive cosmetic procedures and financial agreements, this felt extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable. Important discussions regarding contracts, payments, disputes, and personal information should not primarily take place through messaging apps. I also noticed numerous similar complaints online from other customers describing high-pressure sales tactics, financing concerns, cancellation issues, and disputes over charges. I further noticed limited review visibility on Google, which raised additional concerns for me as a consumer. This is completely different from what was advertised. When I pointed this out (in front of two other clients), there was no apology or explanation offered. This feels like false advertising / clickbait, and it was very disappointing -- especially from a brand with multiple offices. Patients should be able to trust the information in brochures and online promotions, not find out that "prices are decided in-office." I left without booking because I did not feel respected or treated honestly. I hope Arviv takes this feedback seriously and practices transparent, consistent pricing going forward.
