However, I recently noticed my prescriptions were messed up and I was having trouble with the pharmacy telling me I had no refills left. I called the office at the Meridian office and a person by the name of Jackie answered. The call was a nightmare. I inquired about what insurance is on my chart and find that they had somehow put Optum RX instead of Express Scripts. I told her that I don't use Optum RX and she argued with me that I did have it and told me to call them. I insisted that it wasn't my pharmacy and she said it was. she gave me the phone number and treated me as if I were a child that didn't know what kind of insurance I had. I hung up and then went to the patient portal to leave a message asking someone to check my chart and make the correction. When I hadn't heard anything 3 days later I called again and got Jackie (again). I asked for the office manager and she told me that she could help me instead. I told her I left a message on the portal and she said it didn't work. She then proceeded to tell me that I had indeed Optum Rx and had a prescription filled there. We went round and round about this. She was rude, condescending, and treated me so poorly that I am not sure what to do at this point. I have been a patient for over 30 years without an issue. I'm sure they have…read moreother strengths but based on my experience as well my daughter's experience in the last few months, they have missed or mis-diagnosed skin cancer and/or pre-skin cancer on 2 out of 2 people for 2 out of 2 visits. That's flat out scary. We both went for 2nd opinions and both of those appointments revealed the fact that spots Cara Mia missed or mis-diagnosed were cancer or pre-cancer as well as some spots Cara Mia wanted to biopsy, were nothing to worry about, for both of us. And on top of that, within minutes of the start of the exam, the Cara Mia started freezing off 7 spots that who knows if they were pre-cancer or not. It felt like there was a lot of up-selling happening but I can't be positive, just my hunch. But most importantly to miss skin cancer is just dangerous on their part.
