He caught something serious in my veins that is now getting resolved. He is honest and open which I love and appreciate . If you like doctors who tell you nice happy things than just go somewhere else. But if you want the raw honest truth, he will give you the truth and not sugar coat it. I love that he tells me straight to the point what's going. You have to be an adult and handle the truth and he will help you fix it. I love his approach and I find him very easy to talk to because he is genuine and sincere and honest and intelligent and treats you like an adult. So put on your big girl or big boy pants and get the truth from this reputable doctor. From veins to Botox to facial resurfacing to Semaglutide, I have been through it all with them and can tell you I have never had a bad experience. The 1 Star is for the lady at the billing department. I'm 100% satisfied with the whole office visit, everyone was nice and professional. Abby is very educated and confident in her practice. The bill was definitely higher than I expected but it is still reasonable in my opinion. So I decided to call in to question about the items that I was not aware of. Philip was nice and he tried his best to explain the items but Deb at the billing department has more information about insurance policy so I was transferred. Deb was not the best in customer service AT ALL. I asked about the office visit fees because I was not told about it even tho I think the amount is fair. I explained that I have been to other offices that the fees are included in treatment as a package or it was communicated prior to the service . Immediately deb got defensive and asked multiple questions "do you know what's a deductible?(in a way that you think she just called you stupid) Other offices charge that too it's completely normal. I mean what do you expect???" I was like well I expected to be informed of the items that I willbe possibly charged and then get the service that I expected. She said "ok, what do you want me to teach you or what do you want me to do? I finally said now I don't want to talk to you anymore please transfer me back to Philip. If you are looking for professional dermatorist this place is awesome. HOWEVER DO NOT deal with their billing so make sure you are asking questions and be ready to pay for it. A Bit Disappointed I was a bit disappointed with my experience here. Christina was very professional. When I asked for pricing on Coolsculpting I was quoted $810/session which is outrageous. When I called I was quoted $695/session. I told her I wanted a discount because I was planning on several sessions. She left to check on this for me. Dr. Verebelyi walked in and started arguing with me about how his machine cost $200,000 and he has costs, etc. He was very rude and argumentative, justifying the high cost. He is very unlikeable and really needs to work on his bedside manner. He does not know how to talk to people. I'm surprised he has any patients!! I recommend Apex Dermatology. My dermatologist Dr. Neyman recommended injections from Laura....which I unfortunately tried to have done today. I went in perfectly fine and left with my eye completely bruised and swollen. That was at 10 am today and despite hours and hours of ice, it's getting worse by the minute. I may need to go to the emergency room. What a horrific experience. Run away. Fast. ............ Update a week later. If I am going to write a complaint about the negative, I believe I am also obligated to also comment on the positive. After seeing my review and hearing my complaints to his staff, Dr. Verebelyi basically made it his mission in life this past week to try and right the wrong. He was diligent and persistent (despite my hesitancy) and convinced me to come back in to the office so that he could personally offer some damage control. And he did. I wasn't happy (and remain unhappy) with my initial treatment, but Dr. Verebelyi did everything he possibly could to make it better after the fact. He offered medications and laser treatments to lessen the visible impact, and anything else he could to facilitate recovery. He even waived the costs of the attempted treatment. Dr. Verebelyi deserves immense credit for everything he personally did to try to fix the initial experience I had. In this day and age, when so much goes wrong and some people just don't care, I feel compelled to revise my review to say that when I think of his practice - I will remember his personal commitment to fix the issue more than the issue itself. If you are considering services from this practice, at least you can know that someone with accountability will step up to the plate and try to make the patient whole if anything goes wrong. My initial review based on the filler experience was a one star. While I have been assured time again what happened to me was rare, it probably isn't something I would engage from that individual again. But in terms of the overall practice, its ownership and what they will do to fix a bad situation...I give them a five. Thank you Dr. Verebelyi. I appreciate all you did for me to fix the situation. I got this great deal on groupon for some laser hair removal. This was a wicked discount that was impossible to pass up. I've had some laser hair removal over 4-5 years ago, and I wasn't impressed by the company that I used. I didn't expect much from this place because the price was so low, but boy was I wrong. First off, this is a medical facility offering this service. This place is classy, upscale, and not some back-alley treatment. My technician was probably the best person I've ever worked with for hair removal. She was willing to take anything and everything off, and was not shy about doing it. She said that as long as I was okay with the pain she would do any surface down there. I had a full Brazilian treatment, and she did a great job of getting every crook and cranny where the sun don't shine. It was a total of 300 pulses on a brand new laser machine (january 2011) I would refer EVERYONE to this place because of how efficient and professional the treatment was. Also on a previous comment I'm no health professional but I've never had a physician assistant or a physician do fillers it's not a medical procedure and I've done them for several years. I wanted to love this place based on how friendly and nice the girl was who booked my appointment. When I arrived the place was like a ghost town. Laura was the lady doing the consult for filler. She seemed knowledgeable and knew what she was doing but didn't seem to be very personable or friendly. I went with restylane injections under the hollows of my eyes. She was conservative for my first time. When I left, her office said I was required to come back in two weeks for a follow up. When I returned two weeks later to see Laura she didn't remember me and asked if I was here for a consult for filler? I then had to inform her I was there two weeks ago and this was my follow up. It seemed very unprofessional and then she just looked at me and goes well are you satisfied. I asked then to see before and afters. Honestly for $650 I thought it was a waste of money. It didn't make any dramatic difference and created a lump under one eye and I feel it created new shadows under my eyes. read more

I've been having services at Colorado Center for Photomedicine for about 4 years now, and I have nothing but glowing recommendations to give for the Center. Dr. Verebelyi has performed laser spider vein removal and Botox on me. Both ended up looking great. I've also had Botox and Dysport from his RN, Laura. I get regular microdermabrasion and brow wax and lash tinting from Kris. Every experience has been absolutely top notch. They also carry several great lines of wonderful skin care products and sunscreens to prevent even more work being needed down the road! One drawback is that they're popular and they also often have specials running so it can be difficult to get appointments. I wasn't impressed with this place. I went to them because I had a groupon. When I got there they told me it was going to be $25 MORE for each treatment ($150 more overall, which doubled the price.) On my fifth treatment (of six) when I told the woman that I didn't feel like the laser treatment was being very effective she said, "Oh well, we're going to turn the laser up this time." I had told her every visit that I had a high tolerance for pain and could take the laser as high as was safe. Since they also told me that I might need more than six treatments every time I went in there, I feel like they kept it turned down to get me to pay for more treatments. I got a groupon deal for laser hair removal and have had an okay experience until my 5th treatment. I had tanned a couple of times and the tech said it would hurt more. I have a 5" long, 1" wide burn along my leg!! The tech was usually very pleasant, but on this day she was in a bad mood. Not sure if she was mad at me for tanning or if she was just having a bad day. They did not seemed too concerned about my burn (I emailed pictures to them), but I have consulted with other laser techs that gave me advice on how to keep from getting a scar and said that the procedure should never have been done if my skin colored had changed. read more

Was very disappointed and this was the biggest waste of money I've spent (and it was just under $1,000). Laura gave me Dysport on my forehead and Restylane filler under my eyes and in my upper lip. I have been getting Dysport and Botox at different places for over ten years and have NEVER had to come back a second time to get it right, until I came here. She missed about a quarter of my forehead, and then charged me more to fix what she didn't get right the first time. The Restylane filler was useless and might as well have not even been there. My eyes and lips looked exactly the same as before despite my buying two syringes. When I expressed my disappointment at my two week follow up, I was answered with some clucking noises and shooed out of the office on my merry way without any offer of fixing the issue. Having had filler in my lip before with a different doctor who did fabulous results that lasted nearly a year, I will not EVER be returning to Colorado Skin & Vein and would suggest potential new customers look elsewhere. read more

I have been to several dermatologist offices all over town and this one is the best by far. They really take time during the appointments to listen to concerns and be realistic about treatments. I received an IPL and then a follow-up consultation to see the results. I assumed during the results appointment, I would be suggested many additional services and this was their selling technique. This was not true. The technician and I just reviewed the results and she told me to come back after the summer. Every person in this office that I have had contact with rather over the phone or in person has been wonderful and genuinely seemed to care about my skin. I also like their products. read more

I visited this business after a groupon offering, I had a great experience with the tech and decided to go back for another treatment on her recommendation. I went back for another treatment had a good experience. I was happy to find a location close to home and professional. I was asked to schedule a follow up two weeks out. I came in for my follow up, not only did they not have me down, the receptionist did not handle the situation properly. I had a card they gave to me with the date and time. She acted like she could squeeze me in! With this, I said " nevermind " and left. I have decided not to return. Please be aware of these people. At the time you make an appointment they say they checked your insurance who is going to pay for your visit and they accept you for ultrasound . When you come to the office they require your credit card no matter if you have met your deductible or maximum out of packet for the year. I understand, the medical office can choose not to accept patients based on an inability to pay, but my insurance company has confirmed they will pay 100% for my visit, even after that these people wanted my credit card - wist of my time! I called another office - they are so happy to accept me without any form of prepayment, so, going there. I had acne scarring CO2-laser removal performed here, and months later feel compelled to write a review for Colorado Skin & Vein. The staff is friendly enough, no issues there. What greatly disappointed me was the absolute lack of follow-up or contact after the procedure had been performed aside from one scheduled appointment that was set up before the procedure began. No follow-up calls, nothing. Directions for proper recovery and use of the ointments/medications was extremely poor and amounted to a typewritten page that was vague at best. I'm just some guy that was hoping to improve his life by removing scars of his teenage years, so I don't have any idea how to use the half dozen creams and medications that I was supplied with. As for the results, I notice absolutely no difference in my face and can even see some light scarring where the recovery was particularly harsh. I feel cheated out of time, headache, stress, and a large chunk of savings. I cannot in good conscience recommend this company to anyone. read more

I had a laser treatment done that was supposed to tighten skin and wound up with 2nd degree burns on a large area of my body with MAJOR permanent scarring. When I called to tell them about the major burns, the dr refused to talk to me and put one of his staff on the phone who told me that the reaction must have been simply an allergic reaction due to something I had put on the affected area and not from the laser treatment. Believe me, it was not an allergic reaction! I had to go to the ER over the burns.... it was that bad and that painful! My skin looked like raw hamburger meat! The ER was certain it was from my laser treatment. When I told Dr Verebelyi's staff that I wanted to cancel my 2nd session (out of a series) because I refused to go through that again, she put me on hold while she went to talk to the dr and then came back to tell me that Dr Verebelyi said I never should have started the process if I was going to be so concerned about appearances. I was floored. I can no longer wear a bikini (or feel confident in something sexy behind closed doors with my hubby) without feeling embarrassed over the scars and permanent discoloration. I think it was rude that the dr wouldn't take a minute out of his day to talk to me personally about my concerns or even try to keep my business. I never got a refund or even an explanation. I purchased a Groupon for the laser hair removal, but it had expired, prior to my use. Per the Groupon rules, the amount paid will never expire and must be honored by the merchant after the promotional value expires. The amount paid may be applied towards any goods or services offered by the merchant if the promotion is no longer available. Colorado Center for Photomedicine was not willing to honor the Groupon terms for the expired Groupon. They stated I should go back to Groupon to receive a refund, which is a class action lawsuit to receive your refund. I am disappointed they would not honor the terms, so I would not recommend their service. read more

I sent an email to Dr Verebelyi's staff expressing my disappointment over my results with DEEP FX and subcision for rolling acne scars a few months ago and then another follow up message today. I spent over 2500 on this procedure and had absolutely no visible improvement. When I emailed their staff a few months ago they told me they saw 'remarkable' improvement upon review of my photos and that I was mistaken. Obviously I was not looking for perfection but wanted improvement for the money I spent. Given the high cost of the procedure and my disappointment I asked for at least a partial refund and was turned down. I was NEVER even evaluated in person, so how could they cast judgment on my results? This is just your typical money-hungry cosmetic derm outfit that will gouge you for procedures that do absolutely nothing. As I had stated in my correspondence with them, I thought it would have been better if he would have just been honest and told me it won't work rather than misleading me into having 'realistic' expectations. Realistic expectations means get ready to flush several grand down the toilet. DO NOT go to this doctor for depressed acne scar treatment. His lasers won't do anything, and there are many reputable cosmetic surgeons out there that will attest to the poor efficacy of laser treatments in the treatment of depressed acne scars. read more
