Getting a massage is my favorite form of "self-care" and this place has been great for it. I normally get the 45/60 minute deep tissue massages and i highly recommend this spot for those interested in getting deep tissue. Other spots are usually too gentle for my sore back/neck. I got a deep tissue massage from Brittany today. It was terrific. She is strong, professional, and friendly. Because of shoulder surgery, Covid, etc. I got my first massage from Lauren after 18 months. Boy, did I miss it, I feel great after my massage today. Lauren is better treatment for me than a combination of a doctor, psychiatrist, and a physical therapist. I will not go 18 months again. Thanks Lauren. I feel terrific tonight. read more

I have been going here for massages with Kelly once a month for almost a year. She's a great massage therapist, and coming across her after moving to valpo was really lucky for me! The spa is cozy, warm and welcoming. They offer combo massages with face masks which are lovely- but if you have chronic pain or need attention to problem areas- monthly sessions with Kelly are super helpful. I have chronic lower back and shoulder pain from my job and this has been better than physical therapy. I have also started getting facials with Lauren recently, due to my skin being very upset thanks to face masks haha. But Lauren was great!y facial was so relaxing, I love that she was great at extractions, she was really attentive and asked great questions about my skin and routines so the regimen that she picked for my skin worked well. I prebooked and will start seeing her monthly as well. Highly recommend for any services here! read more

I was looking forward to my appointment on January 12th. To get away from the world & my responsibilities for a few hours so I can relax & pamper myself. Have some girl talk. Laugh. You know, the whole point of a spa. HOWEVER, Maria was very unprofessional. I did not want to discuss current world affairs...as this was my time to escape from all that chaos. I tried to divert the conversation several times to no avail. She continued on and on until she got so worked up that she stormed out of the room and told me I had to leave because I told her I did not agree! As a paying customer I have never felt so belittled & disrespected in my life! All because a middle aged woman can not control her emotions. I was going to try your other services but am very hesitant to do so now. All because I don't want to encounter her again. read more

If I can give this place more than 5 I would!! Brazilians by Lauren are the best. Coming from Chicago where the competition is high, I was nervous about finding a new salon. However Lauren has changed that. She has give me the best Brazilian wax. No irritation, minimal hair growth, no ingrown hairs, and has her technique down packed. She also a uses great products and is personable. Definitely see Lauren on your next visit she also does amazing eyebrows. read more

I went to Lindsay for a Brazilian wax and she did not do a great job. I was super excited and I was left with a ton of missed hairs and so much breakage. I am not smooth as I was hoping, instead, I'm left with stubble and painful bumps where the the broken hair is trapped under the skin! I will not be returning! read more

I've been seeing brittany for years now. She's so strong, thorough, and has great technique. She fixes me pretty regularly and without her I'd feel like a cripple. After many sports injuries, she is still able to work out all of the tension and scar tissue. 2 hours or sometimes even 3 hours in one visit, she definitely goes to the extra mile, or in this case, the extra hour my body needs. read more

I arranged two massages with Brittany for Sunday. One for my wife and one for myself. This was probably the worst massage I ever received. I believe at one point she might have actually fallen asleep. Each massage was supposed to be 75 minutes. She ended pretty quick and when I got up to look at my phone the massage had only lasted 51 minutes. I went outside the room to ask her and she apologized, but said she had another appointment and that was all the time she could do. read more
