Haley Tsutsui at Skin Spirit has been incredible. I've seen her four times, and my partner has seen her twice, and we truly can't recommend her enough. She is calm, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. I'm someone who tends to faint during blood draws or shots, but every time I've gotten Dysport from Haley, she has known exactly how to help prevent that. She has a wonderful bedside manner and does a great job keeping me calm, comfortable, and distracted, so I don't work myself up. She's also very quick, and the treatment is nearly pain-free, which I imagine takes real skill. On top of that, her work looks so natural, which I really appreciate. The clinic itself is very clean, and every staff member I've interacted with has been kind, understanding, and professional. Pricing is on the higher side compared with some other places, but in my experience, you really get what you pay for. They also have a rewards program, which is a nice bonus. I've been wanting more regular facial treatments in preparation for my wedding in September. I've been here twice and plan to come monthly moving forward. Natalie has been doing a wonderful job. Is it expensive? Yes. Do I feel like I'm getting my money's worth? Yes. Prices as of May 2025: - Diamond Signature Glow Facial - $285 - Back Facial - $200 - Chest Add on - $50 I have also purchased a few facial products for my hormonal face acne. Natalie loves to recommend the HYDRINITY Purifying Mist (idk if I'm seeing results), but I think that adding the MARINI Age Intervention Duality (benzoyl peroxide & retinol) absolutely is. I scheduled a free consultation at SkinSpirit and was genuinely interested in exploring treatments -- but the way they handled a very human, understandable scheduling mistake left me really disappointed. They called me at 11:40, and I said, "The appointment's at 11:50, right?" That's when they told me it had actually been scheduled for 11:20, and because I hadn't arrived yet, they would be charging me $75 -- even though it was supposed to be a free consultation. I have ADHD, and while I do everything I can to stay organized, small time perception mix-ups happen. I was ready and fully planning to attend -- I simply misunderstood the time by 30 minutes. There was no grace, no empathy, no acknowledgment of intent -- just a cold "we're charging you anyway." This experience made me feel penalized and unwelcome. I can't describe how wonderful Van is. I had a horrible experience at another clinic (that surprisingly has good reviews when you look them up--but they're unsophisticated, lacking in technical talent and have generally poor communication and business practices--I can't review them directly, due to being finally refunded after a long icky process-but feel free to reach out to me directly and I'll share.) Mentioning this because Van and the staff at Noe Valley Skin Spirit totally went above and beyond saving the day. Van is incredibly talented, an amazing communicator and gem of a human being. If you see her for any anti-aging or aesthetic treatment you won't regret it. There's a huge variety of skill sets, and unfortunately a lots of doctors/practitioners/medical professionals are just not very good. Van is competent, detailed-oriented and very well informed (I'm a doctor myself so I'm almost too well informed about various regenerative med things and she definitely was able to keep up and surpass). This is getting super long but I also need to say the clinic manager here --BJ--is top notch. He's a great communicator , caring and puts patients first. Lastly their esthetician Bahvna is a joy to be around, experienced, informed and technically excellent (facials, micro needle etc). This place is not great, i went in a while back for a basic low volume forehead Botox appt and the provider recommended i try dermal threads, which was an insane, invasive, unsolicited recommendation. Worth the trek to my doctor in union square instead. Decided to try again for laser hair removal because laseraway is farther away from me, they made no effort to work with me on scheduling. I don't really write yelp reviews, but this has been a bad experience, i wouldn't recommend coming here from a customer service or a skin expertise perspective. read more

Great facial + peel. It is super clean/medical grade but for the price I was expecting some TLC as well (massage etc). That part felt very rushed (under a couple of minutes). My esthetician was very good, and did a thorough cleanse of black heads etc + was gentle with the peel so I would recommend her for sure. I will not be going to SkinSpirit as I had a very off-putting interaction while attempting to get my first appointment. I scheduled an appointment then confirmed it via text and then received a text the day before my appointment that it was cancelled. I immediately called to inquire. The receptionist was polite and looked into it and said "that's interesting.. thanks for being patient" then told me that it was because I didn't have a credit card on file. I gave them the credit card info and she said she rebooked my appointment. The morning of my appointment, I get a text that my appointment is cancelled due to a family emergency. From my perspective, what would be appropriate is to move the service to another provider at the same time or propose a new time in the same band (ie. The same morning) as people are busy and appointments are scheduled based on the time one has in their day to go. I had also taken the day off specifically for this appointment and then had plans in the afternoon. Other times were offered, but did not fit my schedule, as I had booked an appointment that fit my schedule originally. Interesting that they charge a $75 no show fee, but have no consequences for being a no-show themselves. I also don't want to be cynical, but between the text / "that's interesting" comment from the day before, I tend to think they knew my service was going to be cancelled the day prior and weren't forthcoming about it - but who really knows? Anyways, I went to the same practice for 7 years in NYC ahead of moving here and am used to a certain level of service and don't think SkinSpirit would be the experience to which I'm accustomed. read more
