Every exams and everything else has been exceptional. The staff takes the time out of their busy day to search my insurance, benefits, verify if i'm in network and explain how it works. They even notify me what my billing would be!! which i'm very pleased about and to think of it, no other places do that. I received excellent services from this office. My appointment was on time. Dr. Lim was friendly and thorough. She took time to exam my eyes, conducted visual field test, took retinal imaging to ensure there are no hidden cancer in the back of my eyes. All her staffs are very nice and helpful. They are very knowledgeable when helping with my eyeglass frame selection and cost estimate upfront to make sure no surprise when I receive my bill. read more

Dr J Lim knew off the bat after 3 mins of observation what my kid suffers from. It took another optometrist about 12 mins. She recommended a surgeon who is excellent for kids. I fired Dr. Lim as my optometrist and here is why: I found Dr. Lim's business practices to be a horrible way to interact with me as a patient. I do not recommend going here for contact lenses. It feels like being prevented from accessing health care. My experience was Dr. Lim's office applying way too much control from managing every aspect of buying and getting a re-order of contact lenses, which made it too expensive for me in stress and price. I have worn contact lenses since 1985, so I feel comfortable managing how I purchase them, and how much to order and when I need more. Until becoming a patient of Dr. Lim's in 2016, I always took care of ordering lenses on my own. With a prescription, of course. But when my on-line vendor called Dr. Lim's office to confirm the valid Rx, which says right on the front that it is valid until August 2017, the vendor reported Dr. Lim's office LIED and said it was expired. When it is still valid for another 4 months! So now I have to go through the hassle to schedule an appointment at $$$ cost to me. I'm guessing it's a solid profit for her office. I am being forced to order a replacement supply through her office at $$$ cost to me, which is a significant mark-up in price than my on-line vendor. It's easier for me to find another office willing to work with my needs as a patient. Lower cost and a less stressful experience. Beware if you need or want contact lenses. read more

I went to the Skippack Eye Care on the recommendation on someone's word. I traveled from Bear, DE. I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly yet professional and made me feel very relaxed. Dr. Lim doesn't know how she helped me deal with my aging eyesight. I sm no longer aprehensive of what needs to happen later on with my sight. The optician Steve lead me in getting the right type of glasses for my lifestyle. I liked them so much that I brought 3 pairs. I would recommend this business to everyone. They take care of the whole family. I will be back. read more

While I must say the Doctor and the second technician, Steven, we had for my daughters appointment were great. I am quite disappointed in the fact that we were not once asked if we would like insurance on the second pair of glasses. Today, during the appointment to pick up the glasses I questioned why insurance was added to the second pair when they will simply sit in a drawer for the next year unused. I was informed that the transaction was already initiated and partially paid therefore the worthless insurance that we didn't need couldn't to be taken off and that I was expected to pay the remainder of the balance due. The main pair of glasses was also "missing" the photochromic coating and I would need to return again to install the correct lenses. Overall a fairly poor experience. I do not recommend unless you like to waste money. read more

Beware! I like Dr. Lim as a doctor, very thorough and great bedside manor. However , as a business owner I am extremely disappointed in her practice and the greed! I kept giving them a chance but will not be Going back! They will scam you on contacts and glasses. Was quoted $800 for a pair of glasses I was able to get for 300 else wear (same frame) her office told me my prescription and type of lenses needed was reason but not true. Also had 3 issues with contacts. Couldn't order contacts online even tho prescription was valid for 4 months- she declined stating I already received a years worth of contacts (sometimes contacts rip and don't last as long for me) never had another doctor do this in 20 years of ordering contacts. Also tried to charge me over 400 dollars for 6 month supply of contacts after realizing I had insurance money to use. Then lied and said sorry was charging you for wrong lenses when I called them out on cost. I suddenly realized they did same thing 6 months ago I didn't catch it and they used excuse that they billed me for years worth but only gave me 6 months and will credit me.... way to many lies and greed!!! I understand small business and impact from online retailers but if you were just fair and didn't try to rip people off I would have no problem. read more

My husband and I went here because we were looking for a new eye doctor and I read excellent reviews. I have to say we were very pleased with the service we received from this office. Dr. Lim was fabulous - she was friendly and thorough, easy to talk to, and really took her time. My previous eye doctor spent maybe 5 minutes in the room with me looking at my eyes, but Dr. Lim took the time to really look at my eyes, talk with me about my concerns, and discuss my new prescription with me. The rest of the staff were excellent, as well. They answered all my questions and were incredibly patient when I questioned our insurance benefits, taking the time to call our insurance multiple times to be sure they got the right answer. They fit us in for our exam 2 days after we called, and squeezed us in for our glasses fitting the day they arrived, since they knew we couldn't come the next day. Overall, it was an excellent experience and we will definitely be returning here for appointments in the future. read more

I showed up for my appointment and was seen right on time. Dr. Lim is great. She helped me understand the changes in my vision. I'm pretty picky about frames and the staff had to really dig deep to find frames I liked. They never gave up and were able to find exactly what I wanted. The office has a neat machine that cuts the lenses while you wait, so 15 minutes after picking frames, I walked out with totally new glasses. read more
