We've done this for years. This specific trip, we'd already done Epcot and to our hotel (Waldorf-2.8 miles away) five times. Never over $13 with a taxi. We usually just go with the first taxi that approaches us and confirm that they are metered and a taxi, versus a chauffeur or something else. NEVER in years have had an issue. We get into the Blue Horizon car: not advertised anywhere: just says "Taxi." And I asked if he was a metered taxi driver, he said yes. We started noticing the meter was over $37 when we turned onto the main road our hotel is on. I asked wtf was going on and who he worked for. He made up some excuse about fees and high meters on Friday. I said this is a huge scam and he acted as if this was my first time and told me "he'd get me if I couldn't afford it." We paid him $37 in cash and told him to quit scamming people and lying. I also reported him to our hotel and made a written complaint to Disney to, hopefully, ban this company from entering the property. I really hope this helps someone. We're pretty seasoned world travelers and big Disney goers and I've never been scammed like this after asking if someone is a metered taxi driver and they gave a sign stating so.

Two people, no luggage, flight information given ahead of time, and our flight was on-time. The driver texted once to say to let us know when we were in the tram at MCO. We texted him as the tram pulled up. We arrived at the baggage area (no bags but that's where we were instructed to meet) and our driver was nowhere to be found. We texted multiple times, waited and still nothing. Other car service drivers were waiting for their riders at the bottom of the escalator. I finally had to call him and ask where he was. I told him we were waiting at the bottom of the escalator near baggage claim 12. He said he'd be pulling up in a just a moment so we went outside to wait under the 12. We waited outside and 5 more minutes passed without contact. I called him again and he came outside from behind us. He then made excuses about the weather, "being diverted to the red lot" and not knowing if our flight would be delayed due to weather...he had our flight information. He took us back inside and down an elevator to an underground area for where he parked (close to the elevator) and we found that we were riding in a black cargo van. Yes, a Mercedes cargo van, but not a town car as ordered. The driver was perfectly polite, got us there safely, and tried to make small talk about the weather and the area. The issue is that we paid 2-3 times as much (plus. 25% tip) as compared to an Uber to have the driver waiting for us with our name on a placard. Instead, we had to do the lifting on communication and finding him. He had one job outside of driving point A to B for us and that was to be there at the bottom of the escalator waiving a sign with our name on it. The 2 Stars are for the safety and the ride. The lack of the other 3 is for zero communication, being late, and for making us have to search the area to find him. I would not book with Grayson again. Uber Black is the way to go for a better price.
