This is the ONLY response from Skips ... No response to e-mails to the business account or Facebook. No contact at the reception. The large fridge in the house was empty. It could have held quite a bit of food but Skip's took off back to Grand Forks. Not saying a word. Not until now. Next time we will go with a roaster of Oscar Meyer. read more

Recently Tried Skips food at a local event. Skip was great! I asked if I could have my side of coleslaw on top of the dog, and he gave me some of his special sauce to put on top as well. Friendly service, great menu, tasty food. read more

Skip catered my wedding last year and I was very excited for the meal he had planned when we sat down and visited with him months in advance. He was such a nice guy and we were impressed with him for wanting to meet face-to-face to come up with our game plan. But when our wedding day came I was sadly disappointed. In my opinion I found the overall meal very "lacking" and unsatisfactory considering the price we paid and the planning and discussion we put into it. Makes me bummed thinking back on it. The roasted potatoes were very bland. The chicken was "meh" and he was short on the summer salad so all my guests had barely filled salad bowls. The day of we found out the utensils he planned to use were back ordered and as a result he had to use cheaper plastic silverware. He told me we would be compensated for that (and in my opinion we should be for the salad too) but I'm yet to hear from him regarding that. The beef tips were about all the meal had going for it. Luckily my cupcake gal made amazing cupcakes for dessert and everyone raved about them! read more
