He has done this to me two times already and I'm tired of it! I will never return to that office again!! It flabbergast me that the treating Doctor Who is certified as an ophthalmologist, keeps referring out for other opinions. Since he is the doctor that did my surgery, you would think he would make every effort to correct the problem. The quality of care is poor.

I have been here for 2 years with 3 different specialists…read more You can check in early by your phone or when you arrive. I just wait until I am there . A person assists you for the check in acknowledging and signing and gives you a wrist band. There are 2 sections that I know of downstairs I have gone to and upstairs has two other areas for images and physician visits and a pediatric wing . They forewarn you that you are expected to be there 2 to 4 hours and it can be more. An assistant tech,nurse always comes first and asks questions to evaluate. After the doctor comes in there can be fellow students at times as this is a teaching hospital. They have a snack cart to choose a snack and beverage since you are there for so long if needed. The also offer coffee, hot chocolate, and tea. A charging station is available is some waiting areas . I did get a biopsy done last year in the outpatient with some amazing nurses at the begining to keep me calm . There was one at the end that just wanted to push me out saying it is not all day just in and out, even though I did not feel ready to get up. I was diagnosed with an eye disease on top of another issue I went in for initially. I am being treated for this so I have follow up visits Plan to spend all day. They have an optical center on site for those who wish to get glasses there too. A pediatric wing is also available. It is very easy to get to as it is right off of turpike exit of Palm Beach Gardens. Alot of parking up front and a drop off undercover for those who need to be dropped off.

The competent personable technician tested my eyes using three different machines. The icare glacoma screening was less invasive and more comfortable. Helayna Brown, M.D., is a fellowship-trained, board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in medical and surgical management of cataracts, glaucoma, anterior segment & corneal conditions as well as refractive surgery. I will simply say this, everything went as well as one could have hoped. My vision is amazing, my eyes feel amazing, the level of care- Amazing. Both pre and post surgery. I ended up with 20/10 vision and I swear colors are more vibrant. I feel like telling the world. At 33, I didn't know what to expect as a result. Maybe 20/20 at best but I never imagined it to be this good! Keep in mind that the first week after surgery is the worst of it, and for me that was only a few days of slight to moderate discomfort. Nothing extreme. Only on my 2nd night through 4th nights did I have some times where I would wake up and need some more Keterolac and eye drops.
