The staff was friendly, and was accommodating considering we were in about close to closing. The go kart was fun. They gave us a head sock for the helmet and we were off. Small track with big turns but fun. We were given a coupon for a couple drinks. Yes, They have a bar. The VR system was not in use at the moment. They had a gaming area for tickets. And then we went axe throwing for about an hour. The staff was very helpful in teaching us how to throw axe properly. Overall was a good time.

They also offer laser tag, VR, a ropes course, and pickle ball. Walking in, there was a lot of open space. I assume the building was just huge. First we enjoyed the go-karting. This was my first time ever riding in electric go-karts! It was pretty fun and offered some challenge with the twists and turns. Visiting the bar, the manager tended to us. He was super friendly. He even stopped by during our axe throwing to provide me with one-on-one lessons for at least 10 minutes!! (I was terrible at first LOL). Eventually, I was able to hit the board (FINALLY!) even using one hand. Overall, AMP-UP seems like a fun place. I assume, in the warmer seasons, it can even more fun with the pickle ball open and access to the outdoor space might offer more natural light into the building. The staff were great, informative, and helpful. Thanks AMP-UP!

We had a great summer at Six Flags! Even though this park needs some TLC we still had a great time,…read morethe attractions are still top notch and the food offerings were good for their value. I hope Six Flags puts more energy in to this park, it is well kept but needs some serious 're-imagining.' Many of the elements that made this park fun in the past just aren't there anymore and there is opportunity to make more of the themes they still have going. There were some oddities we ran into to, once time we needed to fill up our water bottles and the attendant at the freestyle station said we could not fill up there, we asked where we could get water and they said there was no free water. This was at the station near Johnny Rockets. It was odd, especially being the middle of the summer and we had kids. Small operational changes could go a long way in making this a premiere park again. Still looking forward to next year! See you soon!

With this being the last year of Six Flags branding in St. Louis, we felt an emotional pull to be here for the end of an era. Purchased season passes again and then visited over the weekend. Very surprised, in a very good way. If nothing else, the park was incredibly clean and well organized. It looks like the park has had a bit of a facelift and it was so nice to see. They still feel like they are in start-up mode for the season, but all the employees I spoke with were courteous and helpful. We were disappointed with some of the ride closures in the water park, but there was enough open that we still had a really good time. The lazy river was closed for the day, which always seems odd. I think if you have the wave pool and lazy river open, you satisfy at least 90% of your water park guests. Just seems like a strange choice. Really hoping the new ownership takes the recent improvements to another level and brings this place back to where it should be, a destination from year to year.

I went with to the Animals Aglow lantern festival with some friends and we loved glancing at all of the beautifully decorated lanterns around the garden. I love that they included all different types of lanterns--mechanical lanterns, musical lanterns, ornate, and simple lanterns. I can tell that they really thought about the entire design when they added each of these installations to the zoo. They were also easily accessible to kids who have physical disabilities, which is a huge plus. One of the things I wish we had available when going to the zoo is a digital map that tells us where we're going, because even though I've been several times I always get lost lol. BUT I am today years old when I found out they ALREADY have a digital, interactive map that directs you to all of the exhibits in real time. (Found that out on their website!!) I wish I would've known this sooner but it's awesome that they created this concept! But what can I say, I love the Zoo and am looking forward to their other exhibits and amenities opening this year!!
