Overall my experience was alright. They use 3Trak software for the launch monitor and system. It appears to be semi-accurate. So good thing we had mulligans on to reset this or it would tank your score during a 9/18 hole play through. The only issue I had with the screen/ball net is there was a hole right in the center of the screen which also caused the screen to wrinkle up due to the hole. This should really be replaced. The overall cost is about the same for any other simulator in the area. 4/5

Where to begin?…read more Let's start with the process. Easy-peasy to use their scheduler, make a change in date. Done. Then the fitting itself. Connor Murray was assigned to me. The boy knows his stuff! Whether it was the latest equipment, using the Tracer to analyze my swing mechanics, or giving a couple of tips on swing path (without giving instruction, since he doesn't yet have his credential and I don't want to get him in trouble, haha), he knows what he's doing and talking about. And last, there's the Ethics and Integrity thing. After spending sufficient time watching me, Connor's suggestion was to work a bit on my swing and maybe take a couple of lessons, rather than buying expensive new equipment. He said he could sell me something, but Chris's (Cote, the owner, I presume) philosophy (and his, Connor's, as a credentialed PGM club fitter) is to only sell equipment if it's going to improve what's in the bag. Connor said the clubs I have are excellent, fitted to me, and there's no newer technology that he could sell me that would be an upgrade to what I already own. He gave me a big bucket of balls, his card, and the card of their head pro instructor with a suggestion to set up a couple of lessons. Call me jaded, but in an age where someone's always trying to sell me something I don't really need, this not only impressed me but has now turned me into a raving fan of his and Chris Cote's Golf!

Our group of 3 was able to play 4 holes in that time, we saw a group of two ahead of us play 7 holes. Granted, we aren't great golfers, but it would have been nice to play at least 9 holes. XGolf has 3 giant TVs so you can watch while you wait for your turn. They also serve beer and wine, but be warned, beers cost close to $7 a pop. There are only 4 simulators so book your time early. Cost and timeframes aside XGolf was an awesome time, friendly staff and everyone in the whole place was having a blast!

Given that there is no directional signage posted that shows players how to get to the range, I drove up the hill yesterday instead of down looking everywhere for the range,. I finally asked a surly cart boy where it was and he responded with derision that "it was right down the hill." When I got there the ball machine was overly difficult to navigate so I drove back to the cart boy to request assistance. He made it clear that he was put out but drove down to the machine with me. Once he got it working it was out of balls! at only 1PM on a Sunday. I asked how that could be and why wasn't it being serviced? his response "Oh well..there are only two of us. You're happy to complain to the Head Pro. Which I did in the pro shop only to be told A) you dove right by the range coming into the course. So he was blaming me for not being able to find it. B) he also shrugged at the machine being empty..and like the cart boy said Oh Well." If any of these staff worked for a Corporate Service Industry Company they would be terminated on the spot for their behavior. I reminded the Head Pro that in fact golf course are in the Service Industry and he might want curb his attitude and that of his unprofessional and rude staff.
