Great Bicycle Shop - Rented some bikes and bought a rack to transport them.

Was told they don't service bikes from China. Was not even welcome into their shop. They claim they…read moredenied me service due to my bike, not having the proper UL 2849 certification. First impressions are everything. Then the owner immediately responded to my Google review very defensive and began making claims without any verification. It seems that they preffer a specific clientele. So if you don't have a very expensive namebrand E bike don't even bother going. My bike had fallen over and I bent my derailer. I thought I could stop in a local shop and see if they could help me either straighten it or offer any type of replacement part. People know when they are not wanted. And I did not feel at all welcomed at any point during the interaction. There are better bike shops in town. Instead of offering to do anything to make it right. They would rather stand behind their claims of insurance issues or a component, I wasn't even requesting service for. Nobody is entitled to a good review. I bought an Aventon Aventure 2 e-bike about two weeks ago and had it assembled here. They assembled it perfectly, but while I was riding home, I ran over a piece of glass. I brought it back in and got some tire inserts to protect against sharp objects. After leaving, I noticed my front brakes were clicking loudly when I tried to use them. I brought it back in again, and they replaced my brake pads and rotor for free. They explained things very well and were very knowledgeable.

Bike riding is a very popular thing to do around the Seaside, Seagrove, Seacrest area. Why walk or…read moredrive when you can ride a bike?!? The bike paths here are well maintained and used daily. Salt Air 30A is located in an area that is called "The Hub". It's basically a big shopping mall with all sorts of stores and Salt Air 30A is one of them. It's visible from Highway 30A, plus you can't miss it because it has all the bicycles lined up outside. In addition to renting they also sell. Plus I bet they have a rent to own option as well especially if you destroy or don't want to bring it back. You can rent daily or by the week. By the week cost $55 and it's actually for 7 days but we only need the bikes for 5 days. Rental comes with a bike cable combination lock and a free front basket. Customer service is top notch! The very first thing you do is go outside with one of the workers. He sizes you up and brings you a bike that's your size. So he brought a smaller kids girl's bike for Sarah, adjusted the seat and asked her to try it out. He did the same for Tammy and I except I got a blue men's bike of course! :-) Their complement of bikes ranged from averaged used (not sure what that means) to new. I got lucky and got one of the new ones. They had the fancy "mountain bikes" too with the adjustable gears, but I believe those cost extra as well as the "electric" bicycles with a small motor that I saw. The ones we got were the simple leg powered bikes that brake when you reverse the pedalling. $55 for 7 days is actually a pretty good deal considering the alternative of transporting your own bike all the way from your own home. We didn't require it but I read other reviewers who mentioned that they even deliver the bikes to you. Great service, great product, great prices... have fun riding!

I was specifically looking for a kid bike with training wheels for my 6 year old. They had one that was perfect for her. We were able to pick up and return with ease. Would definitely reuse again.
