The first few times I came here I had a great experience. The woman who did my brows listened to exactly what I wanted and gave me some advice. I was trying to grow my brows back in after years of over-plucking and she gave them a great shape without taking too much off. The last time I went in another girl came out to help me and she was TERRIBLE. She had been eating the back and did not wash her hands so they smelled awful when she went to do my brows. She also did not listen to a single thing I said. I told her three times prior to starting that I'm growing out my eyebrows, prefer them full, and just wanted a little maintenance done around the edges. She told me twice that I was wrong. I have no idea why I thought that she'd start listening the third time I told her but she did not. When she finished with my brows she had done what she wanted and they were WAY too thin; she matched the size of the brow that was growing back in patchy; the one I was trying to leave alone. She said "see, this is how they are supposed to be shaped" - NOT HOW I WANTED THEM! So now all the progress I had made in trying to get them grow out is gone. I have a patchy brow, I get it, I fill it in and it looks fine. But telling your customer that they are WRONG and then just doing whatever you want when they repeated tell you not to do it is rude and awful. If I do return I will not have this person touch my brows. Unfortunately I do not know their names, the thin woman is the one who gives excellent service and the thicker woman with full lips is the unprofessional one. read more

This used to be my normal go to spot when I worked in Rancho Bernardo and I loved getting my brows done by Nisha. I still came here after I changed jobs even though it is a bit of a distance. However, it seems that they are adding new girls who rush through their services. A blonde lady with botox did my eyebrows and kept pulling out my eyelash extensions when she was threading my brows. I have gotten my brows done with eyelash extensions on so I don't know why she kept pulling them out. On top of that, now my brows are uneven. I have been going to Sky Brows for awhile now, and I love it! The prices are very reasonable, and I am always happy with the service provided. There is usually one lady working, so sometimes there can be a bit of a wait, but it's usually not more than 15 minutes depending on how many customers are in front of you. I went about 4:15pm on a Wednesday there was only one person working Nilab and 2 people ahead of me. I waited 8-10mins max. 2. I was impressed she sits you down and looks at your brows and discusses with you first. I let her know I like my shape and only wanted clean up. 3. Since it was my first threading experience she let me know exactly what to do and asked me if I was okay through the process. I was leaving work thinking "wow I need my eyebrows done" so I looked on Yelp for one that was close that looked like a place I could trust, and it lead me here. I have thicker eyebrows and suck at make up so I'm super particular about my eyebrows because I don't want to have to draw them on, this place did not let me down. The young woman who helped me started by asking if there was anything I wanted in particular (shape, thickness, etc) I told her I just wanted them cleaned up a little and she went to work. While my eyebrows look good and I was happy with the quick, nearly painless process of threading (my first time), coming from a background in customer service I was floored by how unprofessional the girl who did my brows was. I walked in late afternoon on a Monday and found the place empty, with one girl sitting in the waiting area absorbed in whatever she was doing on her cell phone. It took her about 30 seconds to look up finally and acknowledge me and my friend. She awkwardly asked which of us was first and if I had any questions (with an attitude as if we had interupted her in doing something important). I can't explain exactly what it was about how she spoke to me but she seemed very annoyed to be there and came off incredibly rude. She didn't say much more, sat me down and began. It was a quick, couple-minute process and was over before I knew it. She asked to take off a little more on one side to even my brows and from what I could tell she knew what she was doing and did a pretty good job (removing even the little baby blonde hairs above and below my brow). Overall I left pleased with the way they looked, but a little flabbergasted by the lack of customer service and general rudeness of the staff. I may come back in the future depending on how desperate I am, but I'd prefer to find a location where the staff is more willing to be friendly and helpful. I'd like to start by saying that I am extremely critical of my brows (in the past, I've taken a ruler to them to test for symmetry). Needless to say, I'm psycho about them and my friends make fun of me for it. I live in Temecula and used to go to a local threading salon in my area. One day I took a chance on a different threader at the salon I used to frequent and nearly had a meltdown (I know eyebrows are sisters and not twins, but what I was left with were complete strangers! They weren't even second cousins!!). After crying for 10 minutes I vowed never to return to that place again - not even to thread my upper lip. I waited for a few weeks to let my eyebrows grow in, and decided it was time to research a new threading spot. I found Sky Brows here on yelp and took the plunge. When I went in I told the employee about my bad threading experience, and showed her an old picture of my brows looking (in my opinion) on point lol. She was super sweet and receptive, and made my brows look almost like twins! Fast forward a couple of years, and I'm still making the 35min drive from home to get threaded at Sky Brows. I've even convinced the aforementioned friends to start coming here and we sometimes make a day out of it. The only complaint I have is that they won't open up a branch closer to me! lol ------ TL;DR: This place is amazing. I'm extremely critical of my brows, have tried other places, have had a couple of brow nightmares, and haven't been anywhere else since coming to Sky Brows. Been going here for years and I drive about 35min from where I live just to get my brows done (there are at least 3 threading places maybe 10-15min away from my home). I absolutely love Skybrows! I've been going there since the business opened and have been a regular customer since then. They do a great job, they're sweet, and they're so pretty!!! When I lived in Encinitas I had a go to gal for eyebrow threading, she was quick and did a phenomenal job, on top of that, she was the sweetest person and I always felt like I was going to see a friend. Since moving to San Marcos, I found it impractical to drive to Encinitas every couple of weeks to have them retouched, so I was excited when I found out about Sky Brows. The price is extremely reasonable and the salon is clean and professional looking. I've gone there four times and the first three times the girl who did my eyebrows did a good job but there was very little interaction or friendliness. The last time however, I went in on a Saturday afternoon and her sister was the one who cleaned me up. Her personality was quite the opposite, she was very sweet and personable, it was a much more enjoyable experience! She's the reason my 3 star review turned into a 4 star. I've been going to Sky Brows for about a year now and I love this place. Everybody is so friendly and they are experts in what they're doing. Recently they are providing microbalding for brows and I decided to give it a try. Anni did my eyebrows and I can't be any happier. She took her time to explain the entire procedure, then drew a frame and shaped my brows. She is very patient and makes sure you are very happy with the shape of your brows before she starts. After she was done drawing she started doing the actual microblading. I wasn't in so much pain because she was very gentle, but she still offered to add more numbing material to ease my little pain. She stoops every few mins to make sure both brows look the same and nothing is offshape. After the procedure was done she gave me a paper that explained the after care. I have been meaning to leave this review for months, but I just got around to it. It is very very hard to find a threading salon that really listens to what you want and gives you what you want. I am very picky with my eyebrows and I will admit I am not easy to please. I have been going to Sky Brows for 6 months now, and I am VERY happy. Normally I try to see Asela, but if she is not available I trust any of the girls to clean up my eyebrows and keep the same shape. I highly recommend Sky Brows! This is definitely the place to go whenever you need to get threaded! I was talking to my co-workers about trying out threading and how it works and they all told me about Sky Brows. I was excited but nervous because I wasn't sure what to expect. I went in during the middle of the week without any reservation and they were happy to take me right away. I explained to them that it was my first time and that I was unhappy with how the shape of my brows were. We then discussed that we were going to work together; me by not tweezing and allowing the hair to grow so we could then reshape them to my liking. Reluctantly, I agreed and the process began. It only took a short month of waiting but, it has been worth it. The customer service is excellent; all of the girls are all so helpful! They have a punch card- which is always convenient.
