I've been coming here for years. Yalda originally was the one who did my eyebrows and I was always satisfied. She has since then hired some staff who do a terrible job. This last trip I took there was a completed BOTCHED job. One brow was thinner than the other and one was left longer in length than the other side. I was refunded after going back to the shop to complain. I talked to Yalda personally about my experience and she told me to contact her next time and she'll do them personally. So next time comes around, I said "I'll give this place one more try but only if Yalda does them" I contacted her and she had the audacity to say "I charge more to personally do brows and it's by appointment only" I knew that was not completely true. I know other people who do "walk ins" and she's the only one running the shop... she charges them normal price. I've been a loyal customer here for about 5 years... They have now lost my business. I am completely unhappy with the customer service. I found a great eyebrow place in Carlsbad! The name of the shop is "Brow Experts" . She ensures you are happy with the shape, thickness, and style. She works diligently until every single hair is removed. Best of all you cannot feel a thing- it is essentially pain-free. I came to get my eyebrows done (April 25th) and both online and yelp state that they are open until 6pm but got here at 5:40pm and they are closed. It's a bummer since I drove about 30 mins to get here. Another woman came at the same time as I did to get hers done as well. I i came in to get my eyebrows done. Once i left i started to look at them, they looked different. You can clearly see the difference in the picture, one is thinner and more arched than the other. Well I called and Yalda answered she said for me to go in so she can see what she can do. Well i went in, she immediately looked at them and said "your eyebrows are fine there is absolutely nothing wrong with them" i was like "one looks thinner and more arched than the other" she replied " i am a straight forward person and I would tell you if there was something wrong with them", then she sat me down to "clean them up more", then she said i had to grow my hair out cause i had no hair there. Mind you before I went i grew my hair out for 2 months! And i told her that. Her solution was "sorry this happened but the work has already been done, the most I can do is give you half a refund" I didn't want to argue or deal with them at that point anymore. I said "okay" .
