Went in looking for a torch and butane. And was quickly greeted and asked if i needed help. I respond yes I need a torch and want to check the size of the flame before purchase. Unfortunately None of the torches were filled with butane so I couldn't check the size of the flame. The employees response? "Yeah that sucks" So I wait a moment hoping she'd suggest a fix to this problem only to met with silence. So I tell them "guess I'll go look else" and start to walk out I'm stopped by an employee who seems eager to help. After explaining my mission (buy a torch and check the flame before purchase) his response was a similar "oh well that sucks" how hard is it to fill one with butane? I was gonna buy a can of butane anyways How do you expect your customer to make informed purchase without seeing how something operates? Damn read more

This locally owned smoke shop was surprisingly opened late as I needed to grab a pack of elements after leaving a nearby bar. They had a variety of options for me to choose from and the staff was very helpful. The shop can be seen off the main road but parking is located in the back. I only knew because i was next door at yucca. They do not offer discounts to marijuana card holders but I haven't found a headshop in Az that does. read more

This is great place to go unless you're there for vaping gear. The guys were very friendly but knew nothing about the mods. They literally told me to ask a customer next to me about certain mods and RDA's and they sold and said the guy that knows about it is gone. They also sold me a clone and didn't tell me it was a clone. Luckily it works great and I still use it but that is terrible to do to customers. At least tell me it's a clone. It was also marked up by 40 bucks so I could've gotten at another shop cheaper. The guy that built my coils did not check the ohms on it at all and turns out he built them completely wrong, to the point where it could've been a safety issue. read more

Went in to buy a jewel device and bought a pack of four pods of the OG brand. One of them worked excellent after the first one was empty from using it I opened the next one and noticed the liquid inside was discolored from the metal inside of the pod was a little bummed but when I went to open the next one and it had the same issue then open the third one and half of the liquid was already empty inside covering the pod as well. Called them up hoping that they would accommodate me by simply switching it out for another one and they said there was nothing they could do because the company doesn't warrantee the product. Really disappointed they would at least cover the cost to make up for my purchase big-time bummer bad. They also said there was nothing they could do for me because I did not open them in the store to make sure they were OK, which is not normal for making normal purchases in my opinion. If someone else could please follow up with me at to help me out that would be great. read more

I'm normally patient with people coming off the wrong way (I assume they're struggling with something), but I can't think of a single point in the last few years I was treated as rudely in a business as I was on my visit to this place. They had a sign that said "keep right" on the *absolute* left side of the central aisle when you walked in, such that it looked like they were instructing people to stay on the right side within that aisle. It was impossible to tell the sign was supposed to block the aisle from the left side and you were supposed to walk to the entire aisle over to the right. I naturally misunderstood and the staff angrily yelled at me about how they "already told [me] not to do this shit" (even though they hadn't talked to me about it a single time yet, they confused me with a guy of similar appearance who had walked in just before me). I believe the name of the rude individual was Has, although it's totally possible I'm mistaken on the specifics there. In any case, this smoke shop is a good place to be treated aggressively for doing your best to follow poor signage, and to get belittled for things that immediately previous customers have also mistakenly done (probably for the exact same reason of your poor signage). I would rather spend a night without a way to smoke than return to this place. read more

Don't buy Kratom from this location, it's over priced and it's expired. So I came in on the 10th of February to buy my 3oz of white kratom. I've been a shopper at two of their locations for the last five years and even used to bring my bird into the shop. I'd say I've spent well over two thousand dollars in the last five years on different items. Wednesday when I went in to buy my kratom the new girl with glasses said she wouldn't be able to sell me anything because my credit card wasn't in my name. I have a joint bank account with my brother because we own a business together and his name is on the PayPal account. Sure, maybe I should of had a card with my name on it, but it never stopped anyone before when I bought my stuff from there. So after being completely embarrassed I said your manager knows me and the girl with glasses said, we don't care. Like damn, I've had the same card for five years since I moved here and this is the first time this happened. I'll never come to this location again and I've convinced three of my friends to do the same. I'm really bummed out over this whole situation, but I was humiliated in the store and treated like I just stole someone's card. Definitely not good for someone who has given so much to this place. I've never once treated any of my customers like that. If you're looking to buy kratom buy it from "Christopher's Botanicals", he's way cheaper and it's actually fresh unlike what these people sell. The colors are more vibrate and looking back at their kratom I'm 100 percent convinced it's all expired. Don't shop here or support these people! Business shouldn't sell expired product, but remember, they don't care about customers. If you're looking for vape juice, go to "three kings" on Elliot in Tempe. They're cheaper with their juice and they give you points back. Let's all take a stand with these greedy companies and not support them. read more

Sky High does not deserve any more of my time, but I wouldn't want my experience to happen to anyone else. In addition to total lack of customer service while at Sky High, I was overcharged on my purchase. I called later that night, the guy said he couldn't do anything, since he wasn't there when it happened. He said the owner would have to meet me another day and watch the surveillance tapes to prove that I was overcharged and that I should call back.. I told him that this was unacceptable and finally he agreed to have the owner call me the next day. I spoke with the owner, Mo, and he said I had to either come back to the store or he could mail me a refund. However, he said I would have to call back another time since he was too "busy" to write down my address. I was really fed up at this point and started posting this review. Within minutes of this review being posted I received a number of phone calls (like 5 in a row) and a couple of voice-mails using profanity and then agreeing to take my information to mail my refund right away. When things get rough for me (see losing money) I very very rarely reach for the comfort of a pack of smokes. I probably buy less than a handful of packs a year. The week after I wean myself off with the help of a disposable electronic cigarette. After a brutal week I smoked through a pack of spirits and was ready to move on to the disposable. I should have just hit up a gas station because Sky High tried to hustle me out of $3. The hustle started when I asked if they had any disposable e-cigs for sale. I named "blue" as an example as that is the brand I was looking for. The guy behind the counter said they don't carry anything like that and pointed me to a $10 dollar rechargeable unit. I looked at it, considered it and decided nicotine is not something I want to have in my life on a regular basis so a refillable was out. As I was walking away he said he had some disposables but they were marketed as e-hookahs for 8.99. He just wanted to up-sell me. I want to get out of this sketchy spot and fast, so I buy one. Total: 11.99. I look at the guy and mention that there is no way with tax that it rings up to 11.99, He says that there is also a .50 cent fee for using my card under on a $10 or less purchase. What a sleezey policy to tell me that after the fact. I state "No, that's still not right." Then the clerk says "Ohhhhh its 10.99+tax." I state again, "no, look behind you. It's 8.99+tax". So after canceling my fist swipe and being blatantly lied to he finally got it right. 10.23 out the door. I do believe this guy knew what he was doing and was trying to hustle himself some money for his hobbies. You know what I mean. read more

I go here all the time, and I finally decided it was time to put a review. Every time I go into Sky High, it's always a excellent experience. Everyone who works there is friendly and says hi as soon as you walk in. On top of that they are eager to help you. They don't rush you when you try and make a decision, and they are really helpful if you don't know what you're looking for. Tonight I went in with my boyfriend because I sadly broke my two hookahs within 12 hours of each other. With that aside we went in to get a new one. We knew exactly what we wanted, and they knew what to show us. They even caught on that we liked the green hookahs so they only showed us those ones, and best of all, in our price range that we stated. They weren't pushy about getting us to by more expensive things. One of the owners, Casey, gave us deals upon deals. He gave us 15% off just because, and gave us 2 hookah cleaners for free. I'm not writing this review because I got free things; I'm writing this review because everyone needs to know that this place is worth checking out. You won't be sorry. Their selection on everything is large, and there is always someone there that can answer all the questions you throw at them. Was referred here by a friend. I needed a good hookah. I have had a chinese hookah here for a bit and it fell apart. Wanted to spend under $200 and get a quality hookah. Stopped in at numerous smoke shops and all they had were junk. So i drove 45 minutes up to Phoenix. WORTH THE DRIVE. They had a shop filled with anything and everything you can think of when it comes to smoking. I ended up getting a large MYA hooka (Best Quality Chinese Brand) with case for under what i was expecting to spend. Super friendly and helpful staff. A+ by me. read more

So the ONLY thing about this shop that I have actually enjoyed is the fact that it is open late. However it is not worth the way they make you feel when you are in there. All they want is your money, they really don't care about the customer. They try to hustle you for even the smallest items. Multiple things from them that I overpaid for out of convenience have broken or have lasted much less than they are suppose to. THE WORST experience was very recent. I purchased a female glass piece to replace my current one. I was told to return it if it didn't fit so I could get a new one as long as I didn't use it. I didn't use it and brought it back about a week later because I had been gone. Come to find out that not only did the first employee accuse me of using it even though I clearly didn't, but when he took me to his "manager" he told me he can't help me unless he calls the original guy who sold me it (because their return policy is suspect). I tell him I am leaving as it is not worth the trouble or the attitude. He then tells me he will give me a piece at a "great" price and that they are the only place open (it was 10:30 on a Saturday) which was a straight up lie. I went to Its All Goodz right after leaving this place and am never coming back. Condescending attitude plus rude employees and overpriced everything. Don't waste your time. To the original guy who sold us the female piece, you are the only one who I have had a pleasant experience with. read more

This is hands down the best place I've ever been to buy new pieces. I'm from Kansas City and we have no shop that even comes close to this one in quality/price. I've checked other states as well (randomly) and it seems to be the same case. I bought a Grav steam roller here a year ago for $20 and that same Grav pipe retails for at least double that at home. That same visit, I bought a basic Grav pipe for less than $20 (probably 15, idk) and yet again it retails for at least double. I have also dropped that pipe on cement at least a handful of times and it hasn't broke yet, only a minor chip next to the bowl... I visited here again last week and bought a bubbler (what I came for, honestly) and a bong with two honeycombs. Bubblers are soooo expensive at home and bongs can be cheap but usually terrible quality. Both of these pieces together costed me less than $80 and (just like last time) the guy helping me like quadruple wrapped my pieces (bong bowl separated even) to protect them from damage on my plane ride home. Everyone there is always super friendly and ready to help so I'm not sure why that seems to be the main complaint here. I will never buy another piece anywhere else, even though it is sooo far away it is sooo worth it!! read more

I'll start by saying that I was a long-time customer of this smoke shop. That was until tonight anyway. I just went in to purchase some vaping supplies and instead left with nothing..........nothing but the need for a new smoke shop that is. After I made my selections and was waiting to pay, I started a conversation with one of the employees. When talking, I put my arms on their display case. A second employee quickly turned and told me "no leaning on the glass". As I was straightening up and removing my arms from their delicate case, I said "Trust me, I'm not putting any weight on your case". Now, I said this AS I was straightening my posture, and respecting his previous statement. I didn't even get all the words out of my mouth before he repeated his orders to me, but this time in a "slightly" less friendly tone. Hey, I'm a pretty laid back guy, but I can change my tone as well when necessary. So, I repeated my words to him 8n an equally darker tone. By now, I was standing fully straight and was not touching their precious display case at all. That was when a third employee took it upon himself to jump into the mix and told me, in his best principal to student voice "Look, we don't allow anybody to lean on the glass at anytime....PERIOD!" He made sure to do the wild arm flailing while he said it to drive his point home. I kinda stood there for a minute thinking "Holy fuck! Did this dude really just say this shit to me!?!" Turns out, he did. He promptly followed it up with " Now, did you want that tank, or what?" I was already half way to the door by then. FUCK that grease ball, and I mean that with all due disrespect. Like I said I have been going into this shop regularly for several years now. That must have been what they call " preferential treatment" Hey Joey, the dude with the greasy hair just cost you a long time, loyal customer. I won't be back in.
