We were recently in Goose creek for my son's soccer game and were starving so we decided to stop by, Sky Market. They happened to be the opposing team's sponsor, ! What a great decision, as we pulled up they had an incredible mural on the side of the building (very noticeable) from Rivers. As we walked in you can smell all the legit food that was available. It's a deli and restaurant that serves delicious Brazilian food. We ordered a bunch of items and trust me I wanted to order more. Everything was so good, the women there gave us a tasting of a type of cheese bread they had, she was super helpful with our questions. We actually made sure to get some items to take home too, (like the Flan ) I would make a special trip up there to go again, make sure you stop by next time your in Goose Creek, you will not be disappointed! read more

Don't forget their house made mayo Verde sauce..game changer. The crinkle cut fries...hot and crispy..as they should be. As seen in the menu..fresh squeeze juices hand made to order. I got sugar cane juice...which..quite refreshing. And last but not least: the guava sweet roll. It gets served hot and gooey. Reminded me of strawberry shortcake. Service: market style. These folks are LOVELY. Well priced and delicious, this place is a hidden gem for those in the know. The most shameful thing happened when we let a couple go ahead of us in the line and darn it, they scored the last dulce con leche donut we wished for! I stopped by this store to buy some dinner and ended up trying a combo platter and an acai bowl. I was not disappointed. This place has a small market for unique Brazilian groceries, with dry and refrigerated goods. There is also a restaurant area with seating via booths and tables. They have fresh baked goods, pastries, and menu items. I was most intrigued by the soft serve machine that claimed to have acai. You pay by the oz, similar to the frozen yogurt places, and there is an assortment or toppings or cones. It was a bit more expensive than i expected(plate of food was $28) and the acai was ~10 dollars, but it is good quality food and the people are very kind. I had trouble choosing some Items but they made recommendations. A unique spot, i recommend it to anyone to give it a try. read more

What an absolute treasure to have so close to home! Incredible fresh breads, delicious sandwiches and pastries, and so much more. The staff is warm and friendly, the environment clean and organized, and the prices are fantastic! I got an incredible mortadella sandwich that was so scrumptious I ate it all in the car on the way home so I didn't get a picture. The bread was heavenly, fresh lettuce and tomatoes balanced the rich meat. It's a must! I had to get the famous cheese rolls and they are tender, fluffy, and poppable. Warm them in the oven for extra yum. I have a chicken pasty that looks incredible and a beautiful guava roll for later. I asked for an espresso with condensed milk to sweeten it and was thrilled that that was an option right at hand. Hot, fresh, and delicious. A nice after-work pick-me-up. What a great find! A brazilian friend brought us here for lunch one day. We started out with coffees and some of the smaller snacks, then we got some stuff to share and I had a burger which was great with the potato stix on it. Then because he wanted us to have the more traditional experience, he ordered some pichana that was fantastic. I asked why we didn't initially see it on the lunch menu, but he said everyone just knows it's available. This is absolutely what I would suggest you order. We also shopped around the market and ended up taking home some pastries and some meat from the butcher counter. The cuts of meat were excellent and well priced... I can't wait to go back. read more

Such an adorable little place! It's part restaurant with a small butcher, bakery, and market. We ordered the steak special (forget what it's called) that served 4. Good simple food with steak, rice, beans, farofa, and fries. It was delicious. Seems like a local place. Just ASK for a menu (saw a review where someone complained because they didn't know they had menus). Definitely small town family vibes. It's certainly a casual place, but delicious and processed was reasonable. Will def come back when we are in town to try more. They were a little empty while we were there so I hope they get lots of business!! read more

It serves a Brazilian supermarket with different products from Brazil and all over. I recommend the food here if you want something flavorful for lunch. We had ordered the lunch special: corn meal, rice & beans, fried beef, chicken, and it was good. The waitress was approachable and accommodating. I enjoyed our meal entirely. I hate to say this, but we were a little disappointed with our experience. We moved back to Charleston after living in Pompano Beach, Florida, and I was hoping to experience some of the cuisine from that place and time, which has a thriving Brazilian population. We live close by and the reviews were overwhelmingly positive, so my spouse and I decided to give it a shot. As we entered, the market looked very clean. Everyone seemed very polite; however, we were a bit confused. There appeared to be three separate areas, perhaps: a butcher counter, a pastry counter, and a restaurant? There didn't appear to be a host working, so we wandered over to the pastry case. There were plenty of people working, but no one went out of their way to explain what was on offer. We ended up ordering a few pieces of bread and soft drinks. The bread was slightly disappointing. We didn't see a menu until viewing the pictures on Yelp after we'd returned home. We might return for a follow up visit...but we also might give it a pass. A shame read more

As a first time customer of Sky Market my advice is to get the daily special. It changes everyday but I'm sure no matter when you go it will be a delicious representation of what they have to offer. The specialty mayo is a must have try it on everything, if you have apprehensive children put it on some French fries! The staff was friendly and warm even though we were 2 overwhelmed outnumbered mamas with hangry kids. I can't tell you the names of what we ate but it was pretty much all gone at the end! I absolutely looooove this place! They have an açaí soft serve machine with several toppings! I recommend the açaí with just the milk powder topping, which is a classic in Brazil. The price is based on weight, which isn't bad at all given how expensive açaí can be. read more

I have driven past this place tons of times thinking I should check it out but never got around to it. On this day I made it a point to check out the establishment for lunch. All I can say is the cuisine that is provided is so amazing that it doesn't do this business good just to try to explain the food. There are so many choices for you to make that put you in the slap somebody category that you want to go multiple times back to back just to try most of it. We've been to this gem of a place twice, and already planning to return soon. Despite not knowing much about Brazilian cuisine, we didn't feel intimidated or overwhelmed. This was largely due to the friendliness and patience of the staff. Anna and her coworkers explained the different items in the case and on the menu. Everything was fresh, hot, and so so tasty. We had steak, pork, and chicken. All were bursting with flavors. Our favorite items are the ground beef turnover, the pillowy sweet buns with cream and coconut, the silky flan, cheese balls with chives, and the different flavor mousse cups. I made my first visit to Sky Market on Saturday. I found my way to the restaurant section and couldn't believe how delicious everything looked! I asked the woman working to explain some of the items as they did not have labels or descriptions. She let me try one of the cheesy bread bites (only 50 cents each!) and told me about a few items. I ended up bringing home one of the mini pizzas with tomato and bacon and what I thought was a coconut bread but had a cream filling - almost like a donut but in a fluffy bread instead! I spent less than $10 for those delicious items. I am excited to make my way through the menu and learn about these Brazilian treats! read more

Brazilian delicacies everywhere you turned, meats, desserts that are out of this world, the menu in the restaurant made decisions hard...SO MANY dishes I wanted to try! The staff was very helpful teaching me of new foods for the next visit. A special shout out to Maria! She helped us, suggesting and explaining items on the menu. My friend and I had to try it! We read reviews and decided we finally had to try it. The welcome you get when you step into this establishment is amazing. Everybody is so kind and helpful. They will walk you through the menu and they also explained that each day they have a new dish of the day. We tried the dish of the day and it was phenomenal. We are definitely going to have to go back and try a little something different each time because they have so many wonderful looking items. They also have a Brazilian market, butcher and bakery. This place is a hidden gem! I go here pretty often. Although the restaurant is a bit small, their food is worth it. If you want to get a taste of Brazilian food, this is your place. We had lunch today at the Sky Market. Superb. Delicious. Great Service. The only complaint I have is I ordered to take home 1 Rosca Grande Inteira (loaf of Challah-like bread). The cost: $16.99! I should have checked my receipt. I won't make that mistake again. read more

First time here tonight--great looking place. Friendly people. Immaculate cleanliness. Food is INCREDIBLE!!!! If you want fresh and flavorful, reasonably priced food, try this place out. You will not be disappointed. Had the rocket burger, split a chicken croquette with the wife, and a mini chicken pizza that the wife and I split. Their olive sauce that you can add to the food is wonderful, too. Can't mis place for a great meal or snack.
