My review is simply based on my interactions while trying to make appointments for my two children. I called right when the office opened because I was trying to work around my schedule. I introduced myself and let the receptionist know I wanted to schedule appointments for my kids. Before I could even really get into the conversation, she let out this huge sigh like I was bothering her just by calling. It honestly caught me off guard. She immediately told me that if I didn't have my insurance cards, I couldn't make an appointment and would have to call back. I completely understand needing insurance information, but at least get my information first before immediately going negative. I work in customer service, so I know how much first impressions matter, and this interaction just wasn't it. On top of that, there were kids screaming in the background during the entire call. Between the chaos and the receptionist's attitude, the whole interaction just felt off. The energy wasn't welcoming, and as a mom, I pay attention to things like that when choosing who will care for my children. Thankfully, I trusted my discernment and kept looking. I ended up finding an amazing pediatric dentist with incredible energy, and from the very first phone call, the experience was night and day. When I called back today to cancel my appointments, I politely explained why. Instead of acknowledging my concerns or apologizing for my experience, the receptionist simply said, "Your appointments are canceled." That was the end of the conversation. Again, this review isn't about the dentists because my children were never seen. It's simply about the customer service and first impression. If you're someone who values good energy, kindness, and feeling comfortable with the people caring for your children, I'd definitely pay attention to those first interactions. read more

I was looking for a better dental office for my daughter and one of our family members whom works in the dental field made some suggestions and from the website and reviews from yelp, I went with this locations. Truthfully, the whole airplane theme caught my interest. Their location is accessible with lots of parking. I was confused at first exactly where it was since there is no sign on the outside of the building. First step inside, I already fell in love. It's clean, well lit, inviting waiting area. It's open and spacious. Friendly staff, we were given a tour, and I feel they are up to date with equiptment and the environment it just so welcoming. I really like this place! As soon as you walk in, you can see the theme of airplanes everywhere. Alexa was the dental hygienist and she was fantastic! She walked through each step with my kids, so they knew what was happening. They provided sunglasses and Netflix or Disney+ during the cleaning itself. They were so caring throughout the entire visit and stayed positive, even when they could've lost patience lol. My son is two years old and definitely struggles with the dentist usually. They had me lay him down while I held his arms gently, so that they could brush his teeth. They were super kind and gentle. Just as an FYI, they recommend fluoride for kids twice a year, even if insurance only covers once per year. They were very transparent about everything, though, including costs. Dr. Mike was so friendly and great with kids! He went in there just to check out the teeth to make sure there were no cavities. He reviewed the x-ray images with me, so I knew where to focus on when flossing and brushing, which was super informative. At the end of the visit, each kid was able to pick out a toy, which they absolutely loved. They also got a certificate for no cavities and a passport for each visit. It was absolutely adorable! It looks like they are pretty new, since they open two years ago, but they definitely have their act together and we look forward to the next visit! read more

We just took our child here (13mo) and we had a lovely experience. The front desk was super welcoming, the hygienist (the one who brushed her teeth) was so friendly, and the dentist himself was professional yet caring/gentle with our baby. (Yes there were tears but I feel like that's inevitable as a baby getting her mouth opened against her will haha.) I also liked that the dentist was really kind and respectful to us as parents and answered our questions without making us feel dumb for asking them. He took me out of the room away from her to talk to me for an extended amount of time. He could see my child was highly sensitive & nervous but just stood over her looking at her not saying a thing. I always have great experience at this dental office! From the moment you walk in, receptionist is warm/welcoming and loveeee the waiting area that look like inside the plane. I think that really helped ease my dtr's nervousness during her first visit. Staff are also very nice and great with kids. The dentist is very nice, gentle, thorough and great at explaining at everything. Another wonderful aspect for me personally was that both of my dtrs understand korean better and dentist was able to communicate with them fluently in korean which was really great! My kids absolutely love Dr. Park and team at Sky Pediatric Dentistry. From the moment we walked in a few months ago, both kids (8 and 6) kept saying how cool everything was - from the sky and airplane-themed decor, to the cool passports they were given, pictures taken, thoughtful toys and drawing pads around and TV with all the streaming options , they felt right at home. The staff were super attentive and patient, and so was Dr. Park himself. He took time to go over x-rays and care plan with us and we ended up coming back over the next few weeks for treatment. My kids enjoyed their experience - which is something you never think you'd say about a dentist appointment, but it's true. The level of care, empathy, and even communication throughout -- like letting my daughter Emyrje know how much time there was left, or a perfectly timed pause and reassuring pat on the arm for my son were super helpful, and thoughtful. I also thought it was the sweetest, that upon learning my son Grayson's bday was the next day, Dr Park remembered before we left and gave him a special Lego bday gift. I highly recommend this pediatric dentist office! I took my son here for his semi-annual check up / teeth cleaning and we loved our visit. Not only is the office super cute and inviting for kids, but it is also very clean. The airport concept in Sky Park is so creative and fun. We first went to Sky Pediatrics Dentistry 6 months ago in August. We took our 2 boys ages 4.5 and almost 2. It was both their first visit. My 4 year old is very emotional and anti social human. He definitely takes a long minute to warm up to new things and people. I was stressed! The staff were amazing! Super patient and respected his boundaries. After a few tears and hesitation he warmed up to them so much that he even cooperated to get X-rays taken, which I was shocked by! He had cavities so we scheduled appointments to get those taken care of. Dr. Park was very descriptive in what would come in trying to take care of the cavities, laid down all the options for us and guided us in making the best choice for our little human. Laughing gas appointment came and our 4 year old did very well! They made sure he was comfortable and were checking on him every step of the way. During our next appointment, our 4 year old came in and was having a hard time. He was crying and not cooperating. The staff were so patient and so understanding! Like ridiculously, in the best way. Dr. Park invited us to his office and said if he's not ready today that is ok and we can reschedule and try again. So we did that! And the next time we came in our child did great! Both boys had their 6 month check up today and did great and are cavity free! Dr. Park and the staff are very helpful in guiding us on how to floss their little teeth and anything else that needs to be done! The staff was great in guiding my then 4 year old around all the equipment making sure to let him know and even show him what was coming and what the equipment would so he could be comfortable! The experience with this dental office was been such a positive one! I definitely wish I would have had an amazing office like this to go to as a child! Visit 1 in the books for both my 13 year old boy and 9 year old girl. It's been a hard time looking for a good pediatric dentist. My daughter has had enamel issue since her adult teeth have started coming in. Not one dentist we have seen was able to help us enough to help her. AND THEN WE FOUND SKY PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY!!! Dr. Park is so amazing with them speaks to my kids with such patience and explain to us every step of the way what he was going to do as well as what needs to get done. I will update on visit 2 but if it goes anything like it did today we're going to have our new permanent pediatric dentist!
