In May of 2023, I took my son and his friend to jump at Defy Nashville. When we got there they told me that they can both jump the entire month for lower than the one day fee. I told the worker I wasn't signing any memberships because we don't live anywhere near the area and I would just pay the higher fee but he told me this wasn't a membership and he assured me that we would never be charged but the one time fee for the two boys. He had me sign something electronically along with waiver forms for the one month free special NOT a membership he said. I never thought about it again and I don't randomly check my account but in August I got a notification that I was just charged "again"after research it was for 2 memberships for third time at DEFY. I was freaked out at the fraudulent charges contacting my bank and then DEFY figuring out maybe they kept charging me and it was true double charges each month. I left messages, emails and weeks passed no one would contact me back then someone called and said I needed to cancel my membership through a link and email but didn't ever agree to memberships or have the little boys last name or numbers so at first they were not able to help me. Someone eventually called and asked the names of kids I gave her my child figured out the last name of the other kid they eventually looked it up and gave me a reference number so that I could "cancel"it. When someone called me back again, I explained to them that I was told we had one month to jump for free, and that it was not a membership and it is not ok for an employee to lie to you then I be held responsible and requests refunds for JUNE, JULY, AUGUST for two memberships. I signed something that day maybe a waiver and one time fee the cashier TOLD ME IT WAS for one month and not a membership. If you obtain memberships Dishonesty how do you think that makes a customer feel? I was was never TOLD this and was assured it was one time. DEFY, You can keep my money for two kids months never using your facilities but you lost more than you took by being dishonest and deceiving me. Birthday parties, future visits and a fair warning to the public that if they advertise one month free no membership required it's false advertising and charging me for a child's membership that isn't even my legal child is even worse. This isn't respectable way to do business and it's absolutely unacceptable to treat your customers with this much disrespect. I told you the TRUTH and you could have credited and apologized for your cashier that told me something else. No one is going to believe the cashier is lying and read your contracts it was electronic. Hoping your management team recognizes all the hours and messages asking to make it right absolutely unnecessary and that you will raise your level of customer service up and hear what you were told. Myself and three friends purchased the summer passes for $65 each to use advertised equipment, the aerial silks (or "spider web" as it is called at Above All?). The summer pass video was made to look far more epic than the place actually is, but this is besides the point. The silks were damaged. At our first visit, one silk was knotted beyond repair. There is a sign smaller than a piece of paper with about 14 pt font on the far wall that says not to knot the silks, but it's too far and too small for any adults to see and not eye-catching enough for the kids to notice. Staff don't brief the kids on any appropriate conduct (all they are told is "no running, feet first"). The second time I visited, one of the three silks was removed completely, and the other two had unremovable knots in them. I did one obstacle on their "ninja course" (it's tiny) and spent another hour sitting around waiting for my ride since I couldn't do what I came their for (silks). I searched their website and social media immediately after the visit to see if they had notified customers of the equipment damage; there was nothing. There was no email sent to season pass holders. The line was too long for me to say anything to management as I was leaving, but I have sent two emails since (August 26 and Sept 6), neither of which have been responded to. I have tried to call multiple times and have not been able to reach a staff member. One of my friends called about the issue and said the staff were rude and told her they wouldn't do anything. MANY of the parents aren't following their kids around 100% of the time, they are on their phone sitting on a couch while their kids are having a blast. It's so loud in there that someone could easily drive up (because there are cars driving by all the time) grab a child and no one would ever know! Extremely scary. I was at DEFY Nashville/ Sky zone on Sunday April 23rd. The staff were all extremely friendly and the floor was being swept pretty consistently. It was not too busy in the morning, but the staff were still very vigilant. I witnessed a little girl who appeared to lose her grandma/caretaker. A worker introduced himself as Bennett/Ben I didn't make it out completely. He told her he was in charge and him and all his friends were going to help her find the person she was looking for. Eventually I saw the little girl leaving with her friend and the woman she described. The workers handled it perfectly, helping the girl, while also paying attention to other kids safety. 5 stars from me and my nephew, we will be back. read more

This was by far my worst experience with Above All. Apparently they are selectively enforcing some rules. You can only go in on the hour and half hour...and you can't buy up those extra minutes. Fine, but post some signs, email to your customers....CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE. The front desk was apathetic and are not listening to customers. They also need to think about updating their activities. This was not my first negative experience with this company, or I wouldn't be writing a negative review. We were regular Defy visitors last year. We had a homeschool membership that allowed us to go weekdays while everyone was in school and it was great! We probably were there twice a month. So then there's yesterday. It was my first time to the trampoline park since it fully switched to Sky Zone. First of all, it's so freaking expensive. $30 for my 6 yr old to jump for 90 minutes?! They tried to sell me on a membership so I asked if they had anything for homeschool kids. Nothing. No cheaper times to come jump. No homeschool days. I didn't jump bc it would have been $60. On our Defy membership my husband or I could jump with our son for free. Not anymore. We just can't afford Sky Zone which means we'll rarely return. And then there are the employees. I watched a dozen boys take over the Ninja Course and not allow anyone else on it for a good 30 minutes and no employee even walked back there. The two attendants were chatting in the front rather than actually doing anything or enforcing rules. The boys kept saying that the foam blocks in one spot were wet (ew) and said a kid peed in there. True or not, it made me wonder what they'd do if anything to clean a situation like that. They told an attendant who called up front but seeing as the area was open for kids a little while later, I doubt much disinfecting happened. Oh and the ladies bathroom was out of toilet paper in the middle of a week day. Super disappointed with this whole change. read more

You'd think a place that is made for patrons to jump right in would be a bit more enthusiastic about the way they run their business. First impression as you drive up presents an attractive building until you get close enough to see the front yard covered in old foam blocks that presumably blew there weeks/months ago & nobody has bothered to clean them up. The check in process was simple & efficient (the kids already had a waiver on file) & I appreciated that observers were required to wear a wrist band to enter the play area. The complex is quite large & the crowd on New Year's Day was presumably less than a typical weekend day, but there were only 5 employees on duty to oversee all that space. Several of the activities were 'closed' seemingly because they were more challenging obstacles & there was no staff there to administer their use. Of the staff that were on duty I observed 2 standing together chatting for a good 20 minutes completely oblivious to the activity around them while at the same time a third was seated on a bench staring at her navel. I'm not sure what they need to do to inspire their staff but they sure as heck need to have more of them in the play areas. read more

Holly, one of the staff members there, was excellent and made certain the kids got plenty of food and cake and she was all over spills and cleanup. That made the parents' life super easy. Incredible!!!!! New, state of the art, and blows all trampoline parks in the Nashville area out of the water. They opened in June and the buzz keeps growing. No age or height requirements. Trapeze, trampolines galore, basketball, rope swings, obstacles, swings, European trampolines, rock climbing, dodgeball, foam pits, foam blocks, swinging silks, etc. super crowded the day we went as it was last day of winter break, but didn't feel smothered. After all, it's a great concept - all kinds of physical and athletic activities for all ages; lots of room to spread out, a nice clean environment, and reasonably priced. And it shows - the place is busy every time we go. So it would be easy to have a snotty kid working the front desk, taking your money. It would be easy to take me and my money for granted. Nothing could be further from the truth at Above All. We've gone a number of times now, and every time we go the experience is exactly the same. Their prices are ridiculous compared to other trampoline parks in the city. The woman tried to sell me a membership, then said I have to commit to three months. She asked if my jumper had socks, I said yes, we paid and went into the park. When we got inside another employee was telling my 4 year old that he had to go buy different socks. He said he couldn't wear socks from another jumpy place because of advertising. The socks had no words or logos on them, they were just designs. When I went back to the counter to buy him new socks they were incredibly rude to me. Why didn't she ask if they were their socks when I purchased the time?! The manager came over and just spouted off again about how they have to be their socks. No one apologized for the inconveniences or anything. It's nice having energetic music, but it is far too loud. The teens supervising all look annoyed that they have to work, they al have scowls on their faces and barely have any energy to move. We visited this trampoline park as a family right at the end of my son's Christmas break. The facility consists of several trampolines and pits as well as about a 50' zipline. Overall, it was a good experience and surprisingly some decent cardio. Only complaint as far as we were concerned was that I noted the foam pits to be very shallow. I expected pits I was accustomed to in gymnastics, but the trick I attempted into their pit left me hitting a hard floor under only about 3' of foam. So be careful what you attempt into the pits. They aren't your 6' deep gymnastics pits. My issues arose by being talked into signing up for a monthly membership because it was cheaper than our one visit. I was promised the cancellation policy was any time I wanted to cancel so I accepted. As I took a break and read the membership pamphlet in more detail it said it required a 3-month commitment. Stunned at what I had been told and encouraged to purchase, I went back to the manager to cancel on the spot, but he assured me that the 3-month period was waived as they were marketing to recover from covid. Long story short, I have not been able to cancel the membership; the local manager refuses to assist; I've learned the company is held by a shell corporation out of Utah. The headquarters in Utah picks up the phone and immediately hangs up, will not return voicemail left on another line there, and will not return emails. Overall, worth one visit, but don't get suckered into a membership, and be ready to purchase their specific socks on your visit if it's not a return visit for you. read more

The check-in process for a recent friend's birthday party was total chaos. It took over 15 minutes to check-in (they had one person checking in for multiple parties). Even after getting checked in, socks were not given which meant waiting in the line again. They messed up the time for the birthday party (shorting my friend 30 minutes) and offered a 10% discount on the party. She asked to speak to the manager. I've probably visited this location 15+ times. I hate that it is no longer Above All and is now Defy....since the change the facility is just DIRTY. It's obvious no one is cleaning the floors and staff is much more concerned with socializing than paying attention to what is going on. Purchased tickets online, signed waiver online, and showed up on 5/23/19 10 minutes ahead of our scheduled jumptime. The line was all the way to the door with 1-2 people doing check in process and no one explaining the long wait. I finally walked up to a trampoline assistant and asked what was causing the delay. He said the software system had changed and only a couple of employees were trained on the new system. We are now 15 minutes into our scheduled jump time and still not even close to be checked in. Seems as if some preplanning for this change should have occurred. At the least have someone that can explain to the very long line what is causing the delay. Useless to purchase tickets ahead of time if there is no process to automatically check in and bypass the regular line. read more

My boys love this place. Unfortunately, we live a solid hour away, so we don't get here on the fly too often. As a parent, I like that they don't have a ton of coin games to distract the kids from the real reason they came. I always hate paying for my kids to go jump or play only to have them beg for quarters to play video games once we are there. I also like the fact that there is no snack bar, just a couple of drink machines. That being said, if you like to dump extra money on crappy food and claw machines, go to Sky High. If you want to focus your time on actually jumping and playing, come here. My only complaint is the bathrooms are pretty disgusting. I can't speak for the men's room, but the women's room is always consistently gross. Toilets are clogged and usually the only toilet paper around is laying all over the floor. I suggest avoiding the bathroom completely, or take your own toilet paper...and for God's sake, don't send your kids in there barefoot. read more
