Seven years ago when I first signed up with this insurance agency, I would've given them a five star plus they were very good over the years. The payments went automatically and I never had to deal with anything. I had to file a claim in 2024 on my home site Insurance due to a storm and never had a problem either I was hooked up with Aegis foe homesite coverage and they were very prompt in getting everything dealt with. Come early 2026. I don't know what has happened to this local agency evidently the local brokers usually do the billing for the company or the paperwork. Well, the paperwork has been very lacking. I spoke with someone on around mid February to March to try to get my payments for my insurance straightened around and I thought it was fixed because I paid them $187 to catch up my insurance and they said they would start taking the payments out of my card again starting the next month while that never happened all of a sudden one day I was told that on March 16 they would cancel my insurance because I hadn't made any payments and I still owe them something like $98 and I received the letter for a March 16 cancellation at the end of March? Someone's not doing their job promptly so now they decided they canceled me on April 11 and I received the letter work that it was canceled today which is May 17. I advise you if you want something done right you find another insurance agency that can get their paperwork done promptly so these problems are not not found. I had an ass Insurance the next day at a much better rate with another agency and another insurance company. They were very punitive after the event that happened to my home. My deductible went from 500 to 5000. So now I'm back with a company that has nearly no deductible in a much better Payment. Maybe they did me a favor but I went over a month uninsured and I was never notified and the icing on the cake as they want me to send them another $39.... For what? So my recommendation with this agency. Until they clean their office up.....AVOID Does anybody have any monopoly money they don't need? read more

Was calling just to change how I received My bill. (cost 10 dollars to send) I gave my policy number to Robert 5 times & my driver license number twice ,then I asked to be transfer and he said let's try the policy number one more time then he just so happened to find my policy when i asked to be transferred. So I asked to be transferred again and he said no. then he transferred me but then the the phone just hung up.he also said maybe u had the wrong number & this was the shaqill oneil hot line I called back again someone transferred me and I asked the samething and the phone call was just quiet for like 5 minutes then hung up . No call back or anything to follow up. it's been 30 minutes just trying to change this simple thing & still hasn't been fixed lol read more

Very helpful at first when they want your money then you will never hear from them again. They will not return your emails or calls. The price they give you at first will jump up with no explaination and changes will happen again with no explaination and even when you call and talk to a manager and they promise to contact you back they still won't and they won't shop for you on renewals even when you ask they just won't even respond to you. I've been with them for just over 7 months and can't wait to leave! Doing all the shopping myself now since they won't (even though it's their job) this experience has been upsetting and a waste of money and time. Don't use this service. My agents name was Rene but even the "managers" wouldn't call or email you back to help you. Very disappointing. read more

I contacted SkyBlue for insurance on our trailer in Florida in May 2023. I was very pleased with the process and the policy was issued. Then, 9 months later, I get a call from the insurance carrier. They had a refund check for me but it was returned to them. What refund check I ask...? Well, the carrier cancelled our policy weeks after the issue date because they never received the inspection report we submitted to SkyBlue. Neither the agency or carrier contacted me about this cancellation, so I was unaware of the cancellation...for 9 months. None of my calls or emails to Genesis regarding this, were returned. Almost a year later, I have new insurance and finally received the refund check. We are fortunate nothing happened to our place in the mean time. read more

Worst Experience ever. They Provided Insurance with other insurance provider than what was agreed upon call and took full premium amount. When asked to cancel they asked me to sign the insurance form and then they not responded for more than 2 months and still I didn't receive my refund. Someone named Dennis is the person who had worked on this and from that he is not even responding to calls and emails. read more

If I could give less than one star I would! This place is a joke! Worst customer service I have experienced in a very long time. After being transferred around a few times I get put on hold for a very long time just for the call to "drop". I call back and nicely let them know I had been disconnected, the receptionist replied "well, it's busy ma'am ". I understand, may I have someone call me back? " ma'am what do you need" ( in a frustrated tone). So I say "Never mind , Sorry I tried to give you my money". She must of thought she hung up but I was able to hear her say "this bitch swears". *DESERVES 0 STARS* By far, the worst scam of an "insurance agency" I have ever witnessed. No one knows what they are talking about, everything is done unprofessionally through text messages, and all of the customer service representatives constantly just try to pass you on to someone else because no one knows the answer. I tried cancelling my car insurance and they had me write handwritten note saying I would like to cancel, and had me text it over to them. I literally asked them if it was a joke. And finally they reminded me of the cancellation policy that requires me to pay $50.00! Wow! What a terribly ran company. Obviously, don't sign with them! read more

I had a great experience; and recommended the place to many of my relatives who purchased coverage from them. My agent left and the place fell apart. Irresponsible, don't return calls, the one they call the owner is a flake. Their mistake cost me the coverage of my home policy; and they didn't even try to fix the problem. I was pleasantly surprised after so many quotes that I could not afford on my limited retirement income. I spoke to Agent Calvin in the Long Beach, CA office who was very helpful and professional. He got me a senior rate of a low down with low payments on a '98 Isuzu Rodeo when I had no insurance in the past year as I had no car to cover. Liability only cost me about 66 a month which was perfect on my budget. AARP has some serious competition and needs to lower their rates for us seniors! read more
