I wish I could say I had an amazing experience with this State Farm agency. I see many positive reviews, but I did not receive the same service others did. I am utterly disappointed and dissatisfied with the service I have received. I received a call from their office to set up my annual review for my life insurance policy. My point of contact for the appointment was Laura Guerrero. At first, she provided excellent service. She explained everything to me in great detail, asked if I needed anything, and even offered to explain the policy to my parents. However, shortly thereafter, the problems began. She told me I needed to come in for a wet signature about 2-3 weeks after our initial appointment, as I had upgraded my life Insurance policy. I did let her know that I was only available on Saturdays. She let me know that she doesn't work Saturdays unless it's a confirmed appointment. I told her that I would be there for our appointment since I needed to go in for the signature. The next day, she told me it wasn't necessary for me to come in. Only to have her call me right before Christmas and tell me once again that I needed to come in for the signature. I told her I wouldn't be available until the new year and that I'd only be available on Saturday. She told me she would have to get back to me because there was a deadline. That was the last time I heard from Laura regarding my policy, up until yesterday. I had to reach out to her to see what was going on with my policy. I only heard from her after I called the office looking for her, and it still took her a day to call me back. It took her over a month to get back to me. During the phone call, it was excuse after excuse. She even lied to me, saying that she had told me she would reach out if the signature were needed. You told me right before Christmas that it was needed. I told you when I was available, and you said you'd get back to me. I didn't even get a call back or a text to let me know to schedule an appointment. I understand that, after the holidays, you will be busy. However, there shouldn't be a lack of communication. I should have heard from her within the first week of the new year, considering she called me right before Christmas. From the looks of it, it seemed like she wasn't willing to come in on Saturdays. Despite the office saying it is open by appointment only. I will say that she apologized for the lack of communication. However, an apology does not fix the lack of communication and the unprofessionalism you demonstrated. I couldn't stay with an agency that lacks communication with its clients. I went ahead and switched to a different agent who has already done a better job of communication than Laura. They have taken the time to answer the questions that Laura failed to let me ask. Do better!! Have better communication with your clients. It is highly unprofessional to tell a client you will get back to them and then proceed not to reach out. It should not take over a month to get back to your clients. Your clients shouldn't have to chase you down to get information regarding their policy. read more

Don't get insurance there. Was with them for a long time. At the end quick to take your money, but not quick to help out excuse after excuse. Just wanted my policies closed and my money owed that's all. Had to call corporate office just to get information they could have provided I gave them plenty of weeks. And Cruz you need to educate yourself more in that business. You provided nothing I didn't already know. Again could not give good knowledgable information. Sorry it had to go down like this, but I work hard for my money and I don't appreciate any business that I do business with to keep giving me the run around. read more

I contacted the office recently to inquire about homeowners insurance and the possibility of adding my wife's car to State Farm. I was connected with Carina. Carina is the best I've worked with when it comes to insurance. She provided detailed quotes, multiple coverage options from which to select, and, frankly, the best customer service I've ever received! My wife was a die-hard AAA customer but once we saw the costs and coverage Carina provided, she was convinced it was time to make a change. This review is solely about State Farm not the Robert Casares office. I requested tow service yesterday and the tow didn't arrive until four hours later on a record hot day. I'm seven months pregnant. Completely unacceptable! This was not the first occasion where this occurred. A few months back I had a flat tire and we waited for three hours before deciding to drive home with the busted tire! The tow truck never came at three hours I canceled it upon arriving at home. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! Only giving one star because I have to select a rating. read more

I had State Farm because my parents had it since I was 16. I started running into issues with that company. In regards to payment and setting up auto pay to automatically take my payments out. Every month I would get a call from someone and I would every time explain that I was already on auto pay. I had given a girl the previous month all of my auto pay information. Every time they would say nothing was on file. And I was late on my payment and we need to pay. This last month that came by she said I had not made a payment since just December which really drew the line for me. I then sent her an email showing proof that I had paid the last month and I'm not sure why this keeps happening. I decided to finally cut ties and get a new insurance carrier completely. As I was over constantly having to do this and could find something better and cheaper. I know my parents as well will also be getting new insurance. read more

Very unprofessional, rude and seriously needs training. I worked with this agency for a few months and had Alfonso as my agent. Somehow, over the course of three months my rates increased although I have a perfect driving record. I canceled in February and here in May I'm still receiving letters regarding my policy. When I cancelled my insurance in February, the life insurance remained open for some reason and I got delinquent notices in the mail. I went in March to discuss this notice with the agents. Upon entering the office to talk about this notice, the lady at the front desk was very rude to my husband, telling him since he wasn't on the policy it was none of his business and she can't speak to him (I'm standing right next to him when she says this.) My husband asks her to please have some respect and she comes up with something like "I'm not speaking to you, I'm speaking to her" At this point I get pissed off and ask her what her deal is. He's my husband, he walked in with me, I'm right here to verify and approve confidential information, why did she feel the need to snap at us? We left there pissed off, feeling disrespected..the whole interaction ruined our day. I let it go because I figured I would be the bigger person and not write an angry review on Yelp because we wouldn't/shouldn't be getting any more contact with them; but this month I received another letter regarding life insurance, and when I wanted to speak to Cesar about it I felt like I had to fight to make an appointment. When I got there Alfonso sat me down and said something along the lines of "oh I was hoping your husband would come with you because I heard he was rude to my sister" WOW. Are you serious? First of all, that woman is your associate/coworker when you guys are in the office and you are being paid to be a "professional". By saying that's your sister, you are making this personal. Very unprofessional, learn to keep your personal life and professional life separate. He starts arguing with me saying his sister would never be rude to my husband and he knows my husband had to have been rude based off a previous phone conversation. Well, you know what Alfonso? You weren't there were you? I was. I was there, I watched the whole thing go down and you guys should be grateful I didn't write the review last month when it happened, I would have had more choice words for this office and the way it conducts business. How would he feel if I took him in my office and DECLARED that his wife was so rude to my brother, she started it, and I KNOW she's rude because I talked to her on the phone once before? I'm pretty sure he wouldn't like it, no one likes their spouse wrongly talked about, ESPECIALLY if you aren't even in the position to accurately say what went on!!! OF COURSE your sister is going to make herself seem like the victim! She would have been fired otherwise for the treatment she was dishing out!! I wonder what he would have said if my husband WAS there, and if it was anything near the tone his sister gave us, it would have been another ruined day. He repeatedly told me my husband was wrong, my husband was rude and his sister would NEVER do something like that. Rob had to step in,close the door and act as a mediator because voices were being raised. How unprofessional can you be Alfonso? Way to pick a fight from the get-go. (originally I had made an appointment to see Rob anyways, not this jerk... I wanted to speak to the face of this office) When I cancelled my policy with him in February he didn't even ask me why I had left. He just said ok and wanted to cancel right then and there instead of offering me a reimbursement for the remaining week I had or asking me if I wanted to wait till it expired. There were numerous things that made me cancel and if I wrote all the details I'd be here all night. In short, be wary of hidden fees, bogus explanations for the increases, miscommunication, outright disrespect, false promises of reimbursement and sneaky business regarding things popping up on your policy without notice. When you complain about the policy, you will be encouraged to find another insurer... I was, and I did. I wonder if they pay Yelp to keep their reviews looking nice, because Yelp was the reason I went there in the first place. Big mistake. read more
