I jumped 7-20-19 a day before my girlfriends' birthday. So, I wanted to make it a special birthday gift. We been together for 12 years and I've yet to pop the question. So, I thought wouldn't skydiving and proposing be an awesome way to do it. I'm not a thrill seeker but she helps get me out of my shell and being a man, I can't let her do it and wait on sidelines. Peer pressure sure is real! LOL. Long story short from the first call I made to reservation line they overachieved. Rachael took my reservation and helped me set it all up without my soon to be fiancé knowing. She put excellent notes in system so when we showed up on Saturday morning at 8:00 am Skydive Castroville team knew the deal. Our skydive instructors were Tom and Brian aka "Cotton" still don't know why they call him that. Tom jumped with my fiancé and Brian with me. I'm not going to lie I was nervous as hell. They gave detailed instructions on what to do and answered questions if we had any. I guess Brian could sense nervousness on my part and he pulled me through it with his humor. He is funny and got my mind off jump for a minute until we went higher and higher and everything got smaller and smaller. He just gave a simple pat on my back and brought me back in zone since I kind of zoned out. Brian and Tom have great personalities to help first timers feel comfortable. So, I went first so I could surprise her when she landed. First hurdle jump out of plane CHECK. Second pop the question, we landed, and team had my family and kids in place to view proposal and thank God she said YES. Mission Accomplished and I couldn't have done it without Skydive Castroville team. I would highly recommend getting Go Pro video to capture the whole experience form beginning to end. They do a great job editing it. This is a must for everyone! read more

Best Experience! I didn't expect to have such a caring, funny and commutative experience with the Castroville Skydiving team. Cotton and James helped me out during my skydiving trip. My friend who took me to go skydiving for my birthday and even though she didn't sky dive herself, the team made her feel welcomed during the experience and included her with me during every step and picture. We all joked around, had fun and made me feel safe and comfortable during my experience. The other team members, I can't recall the names at the moment, helped me out also and added in my very fun once in a lifetime experience. I just skydived maybe 20/30 minutes ago but HAD to make this review because of how grateful I am to have such an amazing experience with such an amazing team. If y'all the SkyDiving crew from Castroville is reading this, thank you guys! You are the best! And I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANYONE WHO WANTS TO SKYDIVE, TO DO IT WITH THESE GUYS OVER HERE IN CASTROVILLE, TX! read more

We went skydiving this passed weekend , i was scared and nervous but they made me feel comfortable and assured me that everything will be ok. I enjoyed every second after we jumped off the airplane, I wasn't scared as we were in the air We had such great instructors/ really out going and funny Would I do again HECK YEAH !!!!!!! these people are the greatest ! This was on my Bucket list ! they did everything right, made me feel welcome and at ease. i felt completely comfortable and safe. Never any doubt ! This place is as good as it gets! They made me and my brothers first jump a breeze. They were so friendly and whatever nerves I had disappeared with these guys.
